The location has been perfect, just 2min walking from Stari Most. The owner and staff were very kind and attentive all the time. Breakfast was really good with local meat and cheese. We loved our stay here. Thanks to Alissa and Alma.
Staff is just great...location suberb...good breakfast...easy to park.
We enjoyed the great hospitality and kindness of the owner. The hotel is wonderful and it is in the heart of the old town! The quality is great.
Mostar is a tricky city to navigate, mostly because our GPS was somewhat lost. Just know that Marshall is TRULY in the heart of Mostar. In fact, you will travel down a road to the apartment, and will be told to divert to the right, as typically, cars are not permitted beyond a cetain point. We were uncertain as how to proceed, so we diverted, and then a few moments later, a tourist officer knocked on our car window, while he was riding his bike, and called our host, who then removed a barricade from the street, so that we could drive into Marshall B and B, In fact, she had to ask a tour group to move, as they were in our trajectory. This was beyond what we were expecting. Elisa is a most wonderful host. She is very industrious, and seems to have her hand in many pots, especially in her corner of town. She welcomes you with drinks from her bar, as well, she set us up with some delicious lunches from the nearby grilled meat resturant. I truly recommend that you try the Chevap che che. It was so delicious!! Alma, was so wonderful. She works with Elisa and also runs the tourist office. We spent a lot of time talking to her about life in Mostar, her family, and her experiences working with travelers. She is a real gem, and is super friendly and humorous. The room was clean, the water pressure was GREAT, and the view was sublime. I do not know if I have ever encountered a better host. The breakfast is AMAZING, with a selection of wonderful cured meats, cherry struedel, eggs and coffee and tea. What a generous offering. I really think that Mostar is a heartbreakingly beautiful place. I recomnend that you come and enjoy the culture, and get to know the people, so that this diverse and unique city can get back on its feet.
Nothing was wrong. Wifi was fast, and everything we required was present.
Everything just as advertized. Great bed Great location Great price Great staff Great breakfast
Only could pay in cash
• Attention, hospitality, kindness from the owners and stuff, all of them are lovely people and will do their best to help you and make you satisfied • The confort of the room, with a nice view from the little window next to one if the beds • Yummy and varied breakfast, freshly served for each table • Well located near the Old Bridge and in a short walking distance from good restaurants and cafes • Parking included and wifi works well This pension and the treatment I received make me feel like coming back in Mostar even more!
Staff went above and beyond. They drove us to bus station twice. Very friendly and welcoming. Always trying their best. Highly recommended.
This Guesthouse is just perfectly located in the heart of the Old Town less than a 5 minute walk to the Stari Most bridge. The rooms in this guesthouse were of a very high quality and we had a beautiful breakfast served in the owner's lovely garden. Lisa, the owner was extremely helpful and just couldn't do enough for us. She picked us up in the city centre to bring us to her house and also drove us back to the bus station the next day. We will certainly visit Mostar and B&B Marshall again.
I loved everything about this guesthouse.
We loved the breakfast and the lovely breakfast girl. The location was amazing - right in the middle of every thing. Alicia was amazing - so friendly and helpful and her generosity was much appreciated. Took us to bus station and even made sure we were on the right bus. This is the BEST place to stay. Would stay there again if we ever get back that way.
Nothing - it was great
Though everything was just super considering the property its priceless asset is Lisa. She not only picked us up at the bus station but also left us very early in the morning at the train station gratiously. We certainly will come back some day.
The hotel is right next to the stari grad and it is also in the old city so it was very convenient. Our host was very lovely woman and very helpful. She even drove us to Blagaj which is kind of outside of the city. She even took us to the bus station when we left. (For both these trips she didnt want any money even though the price for the taxis were 15 KM to blagaj!) She provides very helpful brochures of touristic places of mostar. If you take the train to Mostar you can walk to the hostel but it is a little far so call the owner lady beforehand. We loved the room which was clean, convenient and wifi was good.
Best place to stay in center of old town Mostar, with own parking, easy to find, very clean and nice apartments. Also, for this price you can not find better place in Mostar. Do not look further, this is the apartment you want to book. In addition, Alisa is very helpful and polite host, so you will not be disappointed.
We arrived for our stay rather late at night and so we didn't have a full appreciation for the location until morning. We took a taxi from the bus station and upon arrival the owner Alisa told us that if we had told her when we were arriving she would have met us at the bus station and given us a ride to the apartments. In the morning we were able to fully appreciate that this hotel is really located in the heart of old Mostar and on cobblestoned streets. These are not flat and low lying streets, there are many slopes and hills here so if your mobility is challenged expect to have a difficult time navigating the streets. There are bridges to cross, streets to explore and the Old Bazaar is really one souvenir shop after another with streets that slope up and down and all around. You will end however on a paved road in the newer section of town where you will find restaurant after restaurant and cafes so getting through the streets is well worth the walk. Our room was large and clean. There was one tiny window and most importantly in winter the heater worked really well. The bathroom was large. The shower spray did not stay on however so we had to shower one handed in order to keep the shower spray running. The bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was served in the morning and was way more food than two people could eat. There is 24 hour hot water available to make tea or coffee. There is a refrigerator for people to store items and also a communal kitchen if guests feel like cooking a meal or two. The kitchen is on the first floor located between rooms 1 and 2. The rest of the rooms are located up the stairs on the third floor and there is no elevator. There was a TV with a lot of channels and also the Wi-Fi worked really well. They have an outdoor patio and I'm sure in summer it would have been a nice place to sit and relax or eat a meal or two that we had cooked ourselves. The owner drove us to the bus station the morning we left.
The shower nozzle did not stay on so showering was sort of difficult - this is however an easy fix.
Comfort of bed.size and clean of the room. Especialy hospitality of alisa
This pansion is very well located in the old town and only 5 minutes to the bridge. The owner is extremely helpful and nothing is a bother to her if you need advise or help. She gave us a lovely breakfast and arranged a lift to the bus station for us.The perfect host.
