SKEND is only 10 minutes walking distance from the old part of town Bašèaršija, up to which you can arrive walking along the bank of river Miljacka. It has good traffic connection with other city parts.

Den ytterst trevliga och omtänksamma familj som driver Skend Guesthouse. Läget var centralt. Lätt att nå allt. Frukosten fylldes på dagligen i vårt kylskåp. Inget saknades. |

Ett förvånansvärt bra hotell med tanke på priset. Rent och fräsht och med AC på rummet. Personalen var mycket hjälpsam trots att vi inte talade samma språk. Nära till gamla stan, enbart 15min promenad eller med taxi för ca 4 Bosniska mark. Absolut ett hotell/guesthouse som vi kan rekomendera! Nej, allt var kanon med tanke på priset! |

Great personell, well equipped rooms with a very good standard. The rooms were some of the cleanest I've ever seen while traveling. Feels like home abroad! Close to the old town of Sarajevo, which is easy to find. We were also provided with a map by the owners and tips of things that we should see and do while in Sarajevo.All in all a place I can warmly recommend and most likely will return to! |

Lägget var utmärkt, ställer ligger i stadskärnan. Ägarna normalt trevliga. Inget varmt vatten, knapt ljummet. Detta påpekade vi för ägaren, men inget hände fast de "kollade". Dåligt med handukar, fick bara två handukar till allt.Lite högljutt utanför rummen under dagen..Fattig frukost. |

The owner Mrs. Zomra and her crew and relatives are just awsome. She is just like an older sister or mother to everybody. You feel like at home with your family. You never have any trouble with the assistants there and you just feel like you never left home. From the location, you can go anywhere and you are steps away from everything in Sarajevo. |

Family staff were very helpful. Not knowing Sarajevo, traveling in the dark and a lack of street signs made it hard to find. After calling their number the staff were extremely helpful and guided us to the hotel. |

We felt very welcome, and enjoyed staying here. The owners were very pleasant and friendly, and the location is very close to the downtown area and the old town. The room was very comfortable, and we liked being able to arrange our own breakfast when we chose. Internet was available free in the lounge, so I could keep up to date with email. We would definitely stay there again when we next go to Sarajevo. |

The staff are very accomodating and helpful, the rooms are well equipped, many with ensuite bathroom and breakfast facilities including a fridge. The rooms are comfortable and clean. I also felt my belongings were secure in the room. |

The hotel is a small family own one. This gives some feel at home feeling but also has its drawbacks - the owners are non stop in the entrance and ask you questions, watch carefully whether you get your shoes off ( it is a must). The breakfast is in fact in a bridge in your room - consists of a package of bread ( open with part of it missing) jam ( an open jar - obviously someone has used it before you) . So is th situation it tne bathroom - a bottle of shampoo -half empty, obviously it has served several guests before us. I f you can put up with this - the hotel is excellently located and Sarajevo is worth being seen. |

very nice place, well located and clean. The room they offered us was really big and confortable, with a small kitchen with a fridge full with breakfast. So you can have things your way. The bathroom was very good comparing to the regular ones in this region. |

People who owned the Guesthouse were so hospitable and friendly. Very central to the old city of Saravago approx 1 1/2 kms to walk but all flat walking. Basic breakfast but very cosy and a good nights sleep. |

Our hosts were very kind and gave to us many informations to visit Sarajevo. The apartment was very clean. The hotel is located around 15 minutes walk to the historic district. |

The staff was really friendly and sweet, it feels like you're at home. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the city center and very close to "the club" (a famous club there). It also was a good thing that you could have breakfast at any time of the morning/day you want, because you have your own kitchen with everything in there. You had to take your shoes off and wear silly slippers when you went inside. Breakfast wasn't that much. |

very nicve place and people - communication will not be a problem - there is an english speaker in the staff. brilliant atmosphere. the location isnt central but thats actually nice. close to public transport and 5 mins walk from center, anyway |

It is a very sweet and family atmosphere with great kindness shown and hospitality shown to guests by the couple who run it. It is simple and clean, a good deal for the price at a 3 star level. Very convenient for being in walking distance of the river and old city. Also provides secure car parking for guests cars during the stay and that is important and useful. |
