24 hours is about right if you get there in the morning. This way, you can see the Old Town in the morning, sunset and after dark. Most tourists left by late afternoon, so it was nice to walk around with less of a crowd.

City with a great atmosphere, and lots of things to see and do, including seeing historical buildings and architecture, visiting museums, going to religious sites, admiring nature, shopping for souvenirs, etc. Had no problem finding a good place to eat - I went to Food House Mostar and had coffee in Coffee Factory. Most of the spots in Mostar can be reached on foot. Plenty of fun activities: sightseeing, hiking, going to museums, eating out, and shopping.

Mostar Old Bridge and surrounding area are beautiful and offer numerous waterfront restaurants for relaxed dining. The only practical way around Old Town is by walking. The market offers the usual array of souvenir items and the vendors are not annoyingly aggressive. Great place for a brief 2-3 night visit.

Mostar, nestled in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a captivating destination that seamlessly blends history and resilience. Its true beauty lies in its commitment to moving beyond the horrors of the recent past. Stari Most, a 16th-century bridge, is not just an architectural marvel but a symbol of unity, rebuilt after its wartime destruction.
The city's cobblestone streets resonate with a harmonious blend of cultures and traditions. The call to prayer and church bells coexist, showcasing Mostar's dedication to healing and reconciliation. Engage with the locals, savour traditional Bosnian cuisine, and be inspired by their unwavering hope for a brighter future.
Mostar isn't just a place; it's a profound journey through history, resilience, and the promise of a better tomorrow. This unique city is a must-visit for travellers who value the significance of its story and appreciate the human spirit's ability to move forward.

Mostar is interesting.
Mostar is interesting. The old town has it's quaint feel, and it is what it is. Step back a few streets away from the river to see what has yet to be repaired from the conflict, before you go to the conflict museum. There are many graveyards close by, and at least one of them should be visited.
It is worth a visit, but no more than two days.

Old part of the town is certainly most famous, but it can be a bit overcrowded. Apart from that it is really a wonderful town, with amazing hosts, good food and a lot of to see.
20 minute drive takes you to Fortica, above Mostar where you can see whole town, go to zip-line, take a walk, some other adrenaline sport or just have the most amazing lunch.
You can go swimming to some of the local beaches on Neretva, or take a drive and go to some of the nearby aqua parks, maybe in Blagaj or see some of the natural wonders, like Blagaj Bune or Kravice waterfall.
On our trip through Bosnia we spent two days in Mostar. Our stay at Narona fulfilled our expectations and even more. The appartment is new, clean and spacious, bright, well equipped, basically all you need for a good stay. It is located in the Old town area near the Old bridge, with restaurants, coffe shops and stores nearby.
The host was really nice, professional and very helpful.
We‘re looking forward to coming back again sometime in the future.
This house will make Mostar feel like your home. The friendly welcome of the owner, Mr. Amar, the little treats at home, and the information he gave about the city made us feel safe and happy. The location is a five-minute walk from the center, the architecture of the house is large, spacious and airy. The house was really clean. I will come again to experience the magnificent magic of Mostar and will definitely stay in this house again.
The host's Zerina and her family are typical example of the Bosnian hospitality-open, welcoming and helpful!
Each room has its own AC and is spotless clean.
Less then 10 minutes walk you are in the old town Mostar - the Old Bridge.
The neighbourhood is peaceful and quiet that allows you a good nights rest after wandering all throughout the beautiful nature of Bosnia.
We recommend this spot to everyone and will definitely come back again.
We enjoyed this place a lot. It’s super close to the old bridge and the old town. The hosts are super friendly! We were arriving quite late in the night and they didn’t have any problem with waiting for us even though our bus kept delaying. They also treated us with delicious Bosnian sweets and gave us a small present that would remind us of Mostar! Thank you for that <3
The place is also very clean and quite
Next to the Karađoz Beg Mosque. Very close to Bingo, much better than Amko for groceries. Very close to Fabrica Mostar, a cafe with iced coffee and a garden which is great for working remotely and outdoor. Cross the street is a barkery where I go twice per day: breakfast, and quick lunch - warm pizza or bosnian something for only 2km. Great facility, good wifi, definitely ideal for digital nomads.
Great quiet location only a short walk from the Old Town. Markets and Bakery within 50m - very convenient!! Apartment was exactly like the photos if not better, great view of the rooftops from balcony. The owners went above and beyond to help us during our stay with renting a car and booking a taxi for the early morning. We enjoyed our stay in Mostar even more due to their hospitality :)
Perfect location to visit Mostar on foot. Park your car and explore on foot the beautiful reborn town of Mostar after it was totally destroyed by the Yugoslavian wars. It brings hope that current countries being attacked and destroyed will be reborn as beautiful if not more beautiful than they were. Recommend to visit the Museum of Genocide, just a couple minutes away from the hotel.
The location is great, near the old town and mostar bridge. The place is perfect for a few nights and the hosts were always there to assist us. They even offered us watermelon at arrival and bosnian coffee before leaving. I fully reccommend it, if you are looking for a cheap, clean and simple place to sleep!
Beautiful hotel and amazing staff. Incredibly friendly and made our stay very special. From the lovely drink and dessert on arrival, and free samples of Bosnian alcohol, to the care in our room and the beautiful views. This hotel is the only hotel I'd recommend in Mostar that's how great it is!
Reception lady was relly helpful. The breakfast good as well. Really close the main road. Free parking on site.
However bit far from the Mostar old town if you want to walk. At night it gets dark, we left the hotel to go to the old town and returned back as we felt it was just too dark.
Great boutique hotel, authentic features and fixtures, lovely garden, very comfortable beds, staff friendly and helpful, welcome drink on arrival, tour of the museum after breakfast, great location, away from the noise but only a couple mins walk to old town Mostar and the bridge
Big rooms and amazing staff, also nice to have the warm spa area on a rainy day! They are so friendly and so everything to cater to your needs. We could check in early no problem. I can’t recommend them enough. If we are ever in Mostar again we will stay again in hotel Mepas.
Very comfortable boutique hotel a very short walk from the centre of Mostar old town. The rooms are very inviting and a very good breakfast is provided. There is also a rooftop terrace with 360 degree views of Mostar.
The hosts are very friendly and accommodating.
Very nice hotel in the heart of Mostar Old Town, comfortable and clean room with beautiful view, hairdryer, fresh towels and bedding, easy contact with the staff via WhatsApp, great value for money, a lot of restaurants nearby, I'd stay there again!
Clean, quiet and modern little hotel with very friendly and helpful owners. Breakfast was also very nice. Location was perfect, with the Mostar bridge maybe a 5 minute walk.
Location is amazing! Owners provided us a parking spot which was great.
The place was very clean and comfortable. Definitely booking again if I go to Mostar
