Excellent beach.

Old rooms. Costly and inconvenient internet, limited after hours food and beverage, no in room bottled water, coffee, tea or mini-bar.

Only stayed one night for the first time, but was very enjoyable.

Very friendly atmosphere with studio very close to the ocean and grand view. Nice beach, coconuts shade and safe swimming. They gave us our studio upon arrival early morning after leaving a cruise ship and permitted us a few hours more four days later when leaving late in the evening.

Situated on the main road but still NO noise. Buffet evening is very poor. Therefore hardly guests who take part. Kitchen was very good. Rooms very comfortable.

Lovely setting, wonderful staff, sense of efficiency. The hotel is quite a big complex, which gives it a generous ocean front and there were always lots of spare sun loungers etc. this was early March 2013. The food in the restaurant is good, although I was not on an inclusive package and I did not want the only buffet option on some nights - which was $70 Bajan, approx £23 - rather than just having the catch of the day, which was a more economical $35 Bajan, approx £11.70. The local bus-vans are brilliant fun if you don't mind being crammed in with others in a space booming with reggae.

I had a spacious ocean view room, but the palm trees and other trees in front of the balcony occluded much of the view. This was only a short stay because I was visiting a relative in hospital, but if I was on holiday I would have wanted to change the room for a more open view. The sea here has quite a strong surf and so the water tended to be a bit churned up and not so easy for swimming. I tended to walk to a beach called Carlisle Bay, about 10 mins away, which is around Needlham Point, where the sea was more calm and consistently turquoise, and so much easier for swimming or snorkelling. There I saw turtles and lots of other fish.

AC was working but remote control was not, did report it, maintenice came & looked at it but did not fix it. got too cold had to unplung it at the end, not happy Shower head

The location on the beach is excellent.

The hotel is dated and in need of upgrading, particularly the bathrooms. The bathtub was above knee-high and had no grab bars. The porcelin was worn and very slippery. The toilet fixture was quite old as well.

Great location,room was overlooking the beach. Good safe bathing,very friendly helpful staff especially the housekeepers,local people so very friendly and always appear happy. Have been to this hotel before and it is still one of the best in the West Indies.

When we arrived they wanted to charge us more and not honor our booking.com quotes for the room we selected.

Location

Our room was double booked, they could not find our amended booking, reception and check in was labourious, no one seemed to communicate with each other. The place is very tired. We had to accept a different (lower class) room for 3 nights instead of the 1 we booked. They then tried to charge us double what was on our booking form, we got so fed up that we checked out after 2 nights and went to a better hotel at a better rate. On our experience I would avoid this hotel.

Friendly neat, safeLocation Staff was very warm and genuine and not obstusive. Beach was clean . Rooms where confortable and A.C worked properly .Not to noisy after 10 p.m.Also liked the clientele that they have nurture over the years from repeat guests met during our stay

Minor irritants where internet service that never eemed to work and safety deposit box in room that did not work properlyad needed to be reset every few days by staff.

Nothing at all

The room and the hotel surrounding, grounds, patios...were all dirty. The front desk and front office employes were rude but more importantly incompetent. Did not follow up with calls, did not solve any issues, were a completely waste of time. The gm was to get in touch with me and did not. Basically , after one hour there I could not wait to leave. Thankfully we had a rental car and were able to have all our meals off property. Was only there for one night thankfully , felt really bad for people who had to be there for longer. By far the most unpleasant stay I have ever had anywhere in the caribbean. PLease do not recomend any more and remove from your website. You are doing yourself a dis-service by representing them.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Patio was lovely looking out to the sea.

Reservationists never had a smile; kept ys waiting from 10 am til 3 pm for our room; breakfast (which we didn't order) was expensive at $20 pp. Noisy native kids screaming at nearby pool. I'm in a wheelchair part of the time and when they finally assigned us a room, it was on the 2nd floor..NO Elevator. That's just plain stupid had to wait again until they had a first floor room.grilled cheese sandwich from patio bar was mostly toasted bread with lettuce and thin slivers of cheese; definitely one of the worst sandwiches I've ever had.

Staff were not friendly, never smiled or engaged with customers, Seemed as if they did not want you there The food was terrible, breakfast was burnt Dirty work tops I was glad I was only staying two nights Could not get away fast enough

It was cheap and convenient to the conference I needed to attend.

Breakfast not included and terrible and overpriced. Internet cost extra and barely worked.

The Staff were very friendly and helpfull,we would go back. The one thing that i did not like was the lack of toiletries in bathroom also the condition of bathtub& shower (leaking all over floor). Again i would like to reiterate The Staff Were Excellent. Roger & Chris Bowering.

пожалуй, это первый отель в моей практике, где практически отсутствовал сервис. не понравилось и то, как нас встретили. мы забронировали на букинге номер-студио с видом на море. когда мы приехали в отель, нам сказали, что их мало интересует, что мы там забронировали на букинге, вот вам комната с видом на сад и адью. после долгих переговоров с менеджером отеля нам все-таки предоставили номер с видом на море, но настроение было испорчено. очень неприглядная ванная комната, явно не соответствует 4х звездочному статусу. с сантезникой были проблемы, приходили чинить. да и в целом отель не соответствует 4звездам. максимум 2*. персонал никогда не здоровается, не улыбается, полное игнорирование.
