The food, room, cleaning of the room
Dirty bar, very poor dining place, chandelears only working for 50 %, dirty curtains on the swimming pool beds, dirty fabels in the dining place, no decoration as well,
As the hotel was out of the way from the hussle and bussle, it was very quiet, occasionally too quiet at times! However, there was good access to the beach and a lovely pool which we really enjoyed. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Food and drink were priced well. To access other restaurants you have to take a taxi or zr bus. Most places were a short inexpensive ride away. Great hotel for young couples and others who just want a quiet, chilled time on the island.
Slightly out of the way from the main action.
I LOVE THE FREINDLINESS OF THE ENTIRE STAFF
THE ROOM COULD HAVE BEEN A BIT CLEANER, THE ROOM NEEDED DUSTING, THE CHAIRS IN THE L/R WERE DIRTY AND SMELLY. THE COVERS ON THE BED WERE NOT CHANGED EVERYDAY
The view The quietness of the hotel
Poor internet inside and in the porch area or even in the yard. A heap of hard Bird droppings on the porch on arrival as if the porch was not cleaned for days. The cleaner could not even get it out. Insufficient electrical outlets and the ones that were there could not be easily accessed. Large visible areas of the room were generally clean but lamp shades and other intricate places dirty and dusty. Window shades not heavy enough to allow for late sleeping.
I loved my stay at the Silver Point Hotel. From my beginning communication with the staff via email all efforts were made to make my stay a short but beautiful one. My flight arrived at 3am and they even sent a taxi to get me from the airport. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and think I might make this my "in transit" hotel of choice when traveling to the islands.
I have no complaints
Lovely area by the poolside. Saw the sheets and cushions changed daily. Nice beach, ideal for body boarding and surfing.
Food was quite expensive
Views, the balcony, all mod cons in the room.
The room and balcony were nice however some of the furnishings were getting a bit tatty e.g the armchair had dirty marks down arm and the shelf in the shower needed painting, The tap leaked at the back and shook as you used it. there should be a seperate power socket for the kettle as you have to kneel down under TV to plug in and quite dangerous electrics, too much plugged in to one socket. Alternatively, a automatic switch off on the kettle would be good. A nice modern striped orange and black cushion and a modern picture on the wall with orange in it would give the room a lift at not much extra cost.
Very friendly people and staff Very popular for kite surfing Clean pool, amazing rooms and i recommend taking the bus around as its a fun experience :)
The hotel was abit distant from everything and the beach at the time we went was full of seaweed, the restaurant should have different menu daily although the food was to a good quality
Good rooms. Nice pool's settings. Great for winsurfers and kitesurfers (only).
Location. It's isolated, terribly connected to other places. After dark it's either taxi or be confined there, which is sort of sad considering the unhappening venue. The feeling was to be in the middle of nowhere. Plus, the beach is not for swimming and it is not that nice (with a terrible smell from time to time. Sewage nearby???) The sea is rough and it is very windy all the time (to the point that it becomes unconfortable); also the hotel premises are windy. So if you are in Barbados to catch the sun and have a bit of fun, this is not the place for you.
The staff are very friendly, the beach is perfect for kitesurfing, the room is also excellent and the hotel is very clean.
The hotel is a little bit far from the good restaurants and Briedgetown downtown. Not a problem if you have a car (around 20/25 minutes)
Great location, nice spot with a beach in front of the resort.
Some of the locals hang around on the beach in front of the resort, and can be a nuisance from time to time.
My room, the staff, the food and amenities
The wifi connection was very very poor and I was quite far from civilization
Location from airport. That it was on the beach. Swimming pool area. Restaurant.
There was no soap in the bathroom. No place to plug in hair dryer or curling iron in the bathroom for my wife. Very few outlets in the room. Okay for a one or two night stay over on your way to someplace else, but too minimalist and not comfortable for a vacation.
The location is excellent, the hotel is tucked away in a corner, so it's quiet and peaceful.
I fuss over the height of the bathroom sink, every time in use it. Also, the food is very expensive at the Resturant but very tasty.
Boutique hotel with essentially a great private beach and a great on site restaurant.
A bit far from everything else
The beach next to the hotel.
Very difficult to find...very few sign posts. Bathroom was poor. Toilet seat did not fit the pan. Surfaces around the basin were badly stained. Coffee at breakfast always cold!
Location Comfy bed Sun beds by the pool
Cleanliness of the room Bathroom was a little outdated
Excellent location in particular for kiteboarding and windsurfing, arguably the best hotel on the south coast, nice and cozy venue, next door to kiteboarding schools including great Endless kiteboarding with Roland Boyce and the team
Staff we're very helpful
Rooms were a bit dark.
as a kiter the hotel is perfect. Strategically located on the kite / windsurf beach. Great food, the staff is very friendly.
The location was breathtaking and the food exquisite.
The air conditioning wasn't working when we arrived and when we switched it on it leaked onto the bedroom floor dripping through to the lounge below. When we reported the problem a member of staff came with a mop and left towels on the floor.
how everyone was happy and cared if we were having a good time.
some days the restaurant service was extremely slow
If you are planning to kite in Barbados, this is the place to be!!!
Restaurant expensive with just a few options.
