This hotel is located along the beautiful coast of Christ Church and offers guests free Wi-Fi, quick beach access and an on-site restaurant. MoonRaker Beach Hotel also has free private parking.
Score from 54 reviews Good
The staff are friendly and helpful. The balcony overlooking the ocean is really spectacular. The food is good, it's a chill environment, and located near some really nice beaches.
Top of the list: Hal's across the street hosts late night karaoke every night during the week. On weekends, it's late night dance music, but at least it's a real band! Seriously, you need earplugs here. Also, no direct beach access from this hotel.
The view from the balcony
All the noise at night!!
We arrived and all night had scrapping off chairs throughout the night. The air con was situated over the bed and was too cold with it on, but uncomfortable with it off. location is in the middle off the gap. stayed only one night and found else where to stay.
The beautiful view of the sea.
No beach access and facilities basic.
The view Parking lot Pool
Too much noise (nightclub but mainly the other guests) Wifi didn't work well
So close to everything and we were treated like family during our stay.
Wifi a little slow and music was loud at night from nightclubs across the road
Location is good.
This hotel is worn and needs refurbishing. There is no access to the pool and overall feeling is not nice. During our stay, there were soem issues with warm water all the time. Breakfast was expensive for what you get.
- Cleanliness, cleaning ladies even wash your dirty dishes, if you forget to do so - Front desk helps you with any tour available on the island -Very helpful night guard - Hotel's restaurant cocktail bar :) - Good location, easilly accessible public transport, night clubs, and Dover beach
- Very loud music from bars (especially karaoke bar) just across the street. Sound proof door and window glass (there is window without glass) in bathroom would help alot with the noise.
Having a private balcony with an ocean view...I could lay in bed, look through the French doors and watch the tide roll in and hear the waves crashing. There is a pool, but no beach access from the hotel, so you have to walk a short distance or catch the bus to a beach further away. The room was equipped with a kitchenette which was great for saving money on meals and afforded us the opportunity to have coffee/tea on the balcony every morning in our PJs. There is a restaurant in the hotel by the pool and late in the evening (usually after 8pm) there's a street vendor in front of the hotel that sells delicious grilled meat with sides for about $10-15 Barbados currency...there's also an ATM in the hotel parking lot.
The hotel is located in a tourist area, within walking distance of several restaurants and consequently South Gap is directly across the street from several bars with late night karaoke/bands (until 4 am).
TV and cable was poor
Location, comy rooms, friendly staff
for the cost, can't fault the hotel
The hotel is excellent as its close to every activity in the Gap as well as having a nice pool and ocean view! The staff were amazing! Rose, Partick and the Chef whom I cant remeber his name.. Its an excellent hotel..
Beautiful scenic view
New showers needed
Hotel is in the heart of everything. The hotel staff namely Rose was very accomadating and she always had a pleasant smile on her face and ready and willing to help @ anytime
What a corker!!! Happy hour 6 feet from the sea having a beer with super views a £1 a bottle. Right in the middle of everything.........BLISS!!!!
Needs a bit of tlc but don't we all..........the karaoke bar across road was a cracking night. People on TA moaning about noise, if you want silence go to a church!
Well laid out room with ocean view balcony. Kitchenette with fridge
Shame it does not have its own bar so you can charge drinks/food to your room easily
Oceanview from the room balconys is awesome and the pool. Clean rooms!
The relaxed atmosphere and the nice people
A bit run down
Comfortable and clean and within walking distance of beaches and facilities. Good pool.
Very noisy at night - loud music from the bars opposite goes on until 4am some mornings.
I liked the location and I also liked the view from our room. I also thought two of the staff members were extremely nice - both of their names are Rose. Rose at the front desk was personable and held a conversation with me and my family that made us feel welcome. Rose in the bar/restaurant also made us feel really welcome. She welcomed us every morning when we came for breakfast and held conversations with us also.
There was a young girl who worked the front desk when Rose was off duty who was not pleasant at all. She didn't greet us when we walked through or even smile. When we asked a question, she was brief and did not try to elaborate. However, even with this, I would consider staying there again.
Friendly staff. Helpful.good facilities-kitchenette, pool
Noisy- bars near by
The staff were helpful, pleasant terrace and reasonable sized swimming pool for actually swimming in. My room was good with a nice veranda.Parking wasn't a problem.Plenty to do in immediate area
the staff is outstanding
