The Legend Garden Condos  

Location is great, we loved the area and there were very few tourists around. You litterally have the beach for yourself. The rooms are huge and the bathroom is good and clean although the shower facilities could be improved. Towels and bed sheets are not the best quality, which you would expect for the price. Kitchen is great and the atmosphere at the legend is the best in the world. Did not have the chance to meet the owners (they were away). Chris on their behalf did a GREAT job. He treated us and our baby like family. Pool facility are good especially if you have kids.

Owners, Alex and Delia, and Chris, at the reception, were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the owners went on vacation two days after we got there, but Chris was there to help us, if needed. Only two minute walk to Mullins Beach. Late afternoon, the monkeys will come out by the pool side. The condo had everything we needed. If you're looking for a tourist place, this is definitely not it! If looking for a nice and quiet place to relax, this is it! You can use public transportation really cheap. However, we rented a car for a week, which we thought was better to explore the island. Had a great vacation on Barbados!

This is exellent place for traveller, who love small private places with unique face. Very friendly owners and personal. Very silent and close with nature (monkeys, turtles - wow!)

No food options around. Just 2 restaurants (Mullins restautant is closed now), but in one of them (Bombas) very, intolerable slowly (we must leave this place, it's impossible) and another is Chinese food (good, but on the fan)

Hosts Delia and Alex were wonderful. Very cute cottage-like feel. Minutes from the beach, a petrol station where you can buy bare essentials, couple of cute restaurants and a cool bar near by.

Couple of cockroaches sprang up overnight and surprised us in the bathroom.

The owners are very helpful and friendly. We've been to many countries and places, and we've become very guarded and suspicious of people trying to help us. I'm very happy I let these people help me! The compound is very nice, with a nice pool, covered eating areas and family of monkeys living in the adjacent gorge. The (very nice little) beach is literally across the street. My advice is to take the limo ride from the airport from Bird, one of the owners, to get to know him a little before your stay. Nice ride, good advice and interesting man... Last thing, our ac was making a racket. We told them and when we came back from our day out, our room was cool and quiet. Fixed asap.

No food options on the premises, but there are 3 restaurants within 2 minutes walk and a gas station. A little far from Bridgetown or any nightlife if you didn't hire a car.

Alex(Bird) and Delia are outstanding people, very friendly and try hard to accommodate you. Hotel is very close to one of the best beaches on the west coast and we went to all of them. Hotel insulated from the road noise, yet close to bus stops and convenience store.

No much food choices around. For good restaurants you have to go to Holetown. No night entertainment around.

The condo was large affordable and everything worked well.

A suggestion would be to install a fan in the kitchen area on the condos that face the afternoon sun.

Our hosts were very friendly, helpful & always at hand for anything you needed. The Apartment we stayed in was clean & had all the comforts that we needed to make our holiday enjoyable.

Location is ideal with Mullens Beach just over the road. Close to Holetown, shops and restaurants. Owners are fantastic, helpful, informative, lovely and freindly.

Если Вы ищете недорогой и удобный вариант проживания на Барбадосе - вы его уже нашли. Это, на мой взгляд, лучшее сочетание цены и качества на западном побережье. Разумеется, при условии, что вы помните, что искали недорогие аппартаменты, а не отель! Не было ни одного момента, который стал бы для нас неприятной неожиданностью. Мы брали виллу с одной спальней. По сути это довольно просторная однокомнатная квартирка. Сразу от входа - кухня. Там далеко не новая мебель и кухонная техника, но она в рабочем состоянии и отлично вам послужит. Есть холодильник, четырехкомфорочная газовая плита, тостер, чайник, кофеварка и микроволновка. Также есть несколько кастрюль, сковородка, тарелки, стаканы, бокалы, креманки. У нас были даже средства для уборки и мытья посуды. В общем, есть все. Далее - спальня. Очень широкая удобная кровать с антимоскитной сеткой, 2 кресла, диван, телевизор, несколько полок. Кондиционер включается вечером и работает до утра. Но в Вашем распоряжении в течение дня потолочный вентилятор. На мой взгляд его более чем достаточно. Ванная просторная. между спальней и ванной есть маленькая комнатка, в которой большой шкаф, туалетный столик и стул. С утра под нашими окнами бегали обезьяны, а на порог прилетали стайки птиц и просили хлеба. Уборка была редко - 2 раза в неделю. Но можно убирать самостоятельно. В квартирке есть средства для уборки, щетки и совок. На территории есть бассейн с лежаками. Хозяева - отдельная тема. Это очень колоритная парочка. Делия - темпераментная веселая итальянка. Ее муж - Алекс - высоченный жизнерадостный темнокожий барбадосец, настоящий фонтан позитива. Мы его звали Сашей, он был просто в восторге от этого имени. Они организуют для вас любую экскурсию и решат любую проблему (особенно актуально для тех. кто плохо говорит по-английски и не все может самостоятельно найти). Иногда они устраивают какие-то развлечения для своих гостей - вечеринки, или выезды в ресторанчик на побережье. В общем, обстановка очень теплая и дружелюбная.

Не понравился хваленый пляж Маллинз (также в 100 метрах от аппартаментов) с его рестораном и лежаками. Он шумный, и дно на входе в море плохое - большие коралловые плиты. Советую пройти за каменистый мыс влево (если нет прилива, идите прямо по пляжу, если есть прилив - по дороге пока не увидите между виллами проход на пляж) там вы найдете отличный пляж с песочком и хорошим дном (Gifs bay, кажется). Правда, тут нет лежаков, но полно деревьев, в тени которых можно весь отпуск распрекрасно наслаждаться прохладой самым жарким днем.

Splendida ed accogliente struttura nella parte indiscutibilmente migliore dell'isola. Appartamenti a 50 metri dal mar dei caraibi, ampi e puliti con tutto il necessario per il self catering. Stazione benzina e fermata bus a meno di 100m. Piscina con acqua sempre tiepida, immerso nel verde di palme, frangipani, banani, manghi, ecc.. Scimmiette che pascolano libere nei prati e sugli alberi della proprieta', quiete e tranquillitá lontana dal frambusto e dai rumori della costa sud: un carnaio di turisti dove I locali sono asfissianti nel loro cercare di venderti sempre qualcosa con insistenza, per giunta il mare e' meno bello. Splendidi I proprietari, sempre disponibili e gentili come pochi. Persone di cuore. Senza ombra di dubbio (dopo 13 giorni sull'isola con auto a noleggio) il miglior posto dove potevamo capitare.

Dover ripartire.

A mio avviso la parte migliore delle Barbados è la costa ovest cioè il lato del mar dei caraibi; non a caso gli alberghi più costosi si trovano proprio su questa costa. Tra i tanti costosissimi abbiamo trovato questo angolo di paradiso a prezzi molto molto convenienti. Si trova di fronte, attraversando la strada, alla spiaggia di Mullins Bay. La struttura ha un giardino tropicale veramente accogliente, con scimmiette libere e gazebo sui quali navigare con la wi-fi gratuita. Inoltre c'è una bellissima piscina contornata da alberi e dalla vista del mare in lontananza. Gli appartamenti sono splendidi, tutti con spazio esterno o balcone, cucina, camera da letto, camera con cabina armadio e bagno. Ma la sorpresa sta nei padroni della struttura alberghiera, simpatici, cortesi e disponibilissimi. La signora Delia ci ha organizzato tutta la vacanza indicandoci i posti migliori da visitare sull'isola, organizzandoci personalmente anche delle escursioni in barca e prenotandoci la macchina necessaria per visitare in assoluta libertà l'isola. Cosa da non sottovalutare, per noi italiani, la signora parla perfettamente la lingua italiana. Un posto dove tornerei sempre molto volentieri, mi sono sentito come a casa.

Wenn man sich erholen möchte ist das der ideale Ort, die Anlage bietet einen wunderschönen alten Garten bestand mit sehr alten Palmen. Die Inhaber leben auf der Anlage und sind sehr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Tutto stupendo: l'isola, il mare, la nostra stanza, Delia & Bird e tutto lo staff!!! Vacanza magnifica!!!

Decor of the unit. Friendly staff

Booking.com advertised the unit as a "Villa". It was an apartment! Limited air con (nights only). No chance to relax at home after lunch as it was too hot. Very poor internet server. Very poor TV and reception. Poor security. Low general standard of maintenance.
