The close proximity to Waterloo battlefield-The management happened to find out that this was my birthday, so a complimentary bottle of wine was placed in our room, whilst we were out-At breakfast the staff could not have been friendlier-We intend to re-visit many more times-many thanks Only that it should not have been built on such an historic site!! |

Historic building overlooks site of the battle of Waterloo and is within easy walking distance of the visitor's center. The attached restaurant had excellent food and service. |

It was ideal for walking the Waterloo Battlefield and close to accessible bus routes to Waterloo Town and Brussels. Room was comfortable, clean and breakfast was good and available 7-10 am. |

The hotel staff was very friendly and service-minded. We have two children and wanted to stay in the same room together and they were so kind so as to let us have their largest room, their suite, for the same price as the double-room that we had booked. They have a very nice restaurant too. |

Excelent restaurant for lunch, evening food No ability to pay for restaurant food/drink against room rate and seemingly great confusion with some staff about how to pay - one individual refused to take a credit card until his manager told him that they did |
