This centrally located hotel is within 320 yards of Brussels' central Grand Place and an 8-minute walk from the Central Train Station. Hotel Opera has a 24-hour front desk, a tour desk and free Wi-Fi....

The reception staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Rest there was nothing to like
The access to the room is thru a very uncomfortable staircase. No idea how a hotel can operate in Europe with such condition of access. Toilet door was broken
It was ok as a stop for 1 night, but not more..
Hotel definitely needs renovation.
Staff was nice.
The area where hotel is located is not great.
Its like near the city but its ghetto. We couldnt sleep because of the street fights.
Price Size of room Central location It offers very decent value in a town of largely grim and/ or expensive hotels. Room was cleaned every day.
It's all a bit old and tired. Immediate surroundings are scruffy, but then so is most of central Brussels
Honestly I didnt like much... Was little scared going back to the hotel at night. But at least it was clean in the room.
The room did not have a window which was quite spooky. The hotel itself, well... I wouldn't go back there.
the location is great and the stuff was nice and helpful.
the sheets were not so clean
The location was close to what we wanted to see. The man at the desk was very nice and helpful.
Our room was very dark with no windows near the bed. The window was in the bathroom and around the corner of a cabinet so no direct air came to the area where we slept. It was a little claustrophobic. We were glad it was chilly at night because the room would have been horrible if it had been hot! Our kids had a room with windows in the bedding area which was nice for the air but really noisy in the middle of the night. The location was good for sightseeing but the street the hotel is on is pretty "sleezy" with buildings that look abandoned. There were a lot of x rated shops around the area.
noisy location of room
Fantastic value for money, helpful staff, clean and spacious room and in the middle of the city
The location was in the center near the shopping area, grand place and near the metro.
Everything else was just wrong. Our room was on the 3rd floor and the stairs were very narrow (no elevator) so we were simply unable to take our luggage to our room. We had to leave the suitcases in a luggage room that was closed from midnight till 8 in the morning. During that time the reception was closed, so checking in after a late night flight is not possible at this hotel. The shower was perfect and big, but the rest of the bathroom has to compensate for that, meaning you have to squeeze yourself through the small space between the sink and shower to get to the toilet. There wasn't even a new toiletrol in the room!
the staff were the best! very helpful and even let me use their computer! Super satisfied with it! very good location in the middle of the city, clean room.
It was a Saturday night in early June, so many places were booked. We were very lucky to find such a nice place, not too expensive, right near all the action.
More money than we wanted to spend. For some people the lack of an elevator would be difficult, but it wasn't for us. Wish we had wifi in the 3rd floor room, but at least down in the lobby it was good and free.
The location was wonderful. You can reach the city center on foot in a few minites. The metro station was only few meters away. The owners were helpful and kind. I surely recommend it !
It was in a noisy street. The rooms could be more clean
Location to train station
Noise, didn't change sheets one day
A dirty hotel with extremely dirty bathroom. Although it is close to Grande Place (about 7 min. to walk), the neighborhood is so bad I would strongly recommend a taxi. No hot water in the shower, no cold water in the sink. I strongly recommend to stay away!
very good location, clean helpful staff
noisy, no elevator and internet only works in the lobby
Broken hair dryer, and the location of the main entrance from an alley.
Central! Also, about 10 minutes to the north station fromwhere you can tale a 15 minute train to the Airport for 8.50 Euros. The guy st the reception was nice, waited for me past 11 pm, as I was arriving late.
The entrance is from a bit dodgy side street. I would not spend the night witha date there, or with kids. Not very romantic) But as I needed simply to spend the night soll, for 60 Euros in the center of Brussels, this was perfect
the hotel was quite cheap and it's very conveniently located right in the middle of town
the hotel was quite cheap and this was reflected in the hotel, it's room and the furnishings. It was not clean and the hotel is located in a side street right next to a very loud night club or bar.
Good but quiet location
stairs to third floor with luggage
close to the centre and attractions. A cheap hotel but still had a double bed and the room was nice and clean. Also the room was nice and warm, unlike a lot of cheap hotels that try to skimp on the heating.
The holder for the shower head was broken, but not big problem
Exelent location and very nice staff.
Great service, great location.
Cheap and affordable accomodation.
Smelled like sewage around the entrance of the hotel, rooms were a bit of a nightmare to get to (3 flights of steep stairs in the dark). Room itself was clean but rather old. Some of the electrical circuits had exposed wiring. Also the lack of Internet in your room (only available in the lobby) was totally useless, as some form of wifi associated with the hotel DID reach my room, but wasn't available.
