*Great location just off the main shopping street (yes it is down a dodgey looking alley way next to a kebab shop - but its literally 5 steps down the alley)
*No WIFI in the room *Hotel doesnt have it own entrance you have to enter from the place next door *Not very clean *It an outdated place, cheap for the centre of Brussels. Ok if you just need somewhere to lay your head (little wary of cleanliness of sheets etc though).
Reception was very helpful. We came 1 hour after check-in closed (almost 00:00), but he still was there, helping and answering all our questions. Hotel is very close to the city center. Also close to the bus station from where you can take a direct bus to the airport.
Noise from outside + slightly old windows. But that is not something that would disturb our sleep after long day. Breakfast was poor (only sweet things), but with warm croissants :)
Great location near city center, we can reach only by walking,,, nice and informative staff ,,comfort and clean,,,
The room was huge. The hotel is really close to the centre of the city. The recepcionist who speaks arabic is super kind.
The male recepcionist with colour eyes is so rude. One of my room keys didn't work in the bedroom and he didn't want to change it because he said it did and I was not trying correctly, which is false, because the other key didn't make me struggle. Also he was almost kicking us out while we were waiting for our departure time in the lobby.
Location! Friendly staff made us feel very welcome. comfy bed, kept clean. Would stay again if we visit Brussels again. Excellent!
the staff are really helpful and kind , is located near the city centre, is a good choice of a cheap hotel with good facilities
I cannot understand how the authorities gave this hotel(?) two stars!! A room with a collection of old unmatched furniture some of it good only to throw away. The staff is not helpful. The location is a side street which makes one feel unsafe in the morning let alone at night.
Location Price Very friendly and helpful staff
Very basic Bathroom needs an overhaul and the sink a plug TV needs an aerial Very, very noisy from the streets
- price-service-ratio is okay - good Connections with the public transport
- badly soundproffed - you hear everthing from staircase and other rooms
Location was excellent, very close to the centre and Grand Place. Staff was nice and helpful.
Very noisy! The isolation of the windows must be poor as we felt like we were outside.
Black mould growing in shower, musty smell as soon as you enter room, no facility to open window - let air into room,
Location is excellent, and prize is among the cheapest you can find in the area
Facilities are poor, light in the room extremely dim. Still, for being among the cheapest hotels in the area I would say OK. In other cities or areas I would call this a very poor price/quality ratio, but here it is OK.
Location in the center, wifi was very good free of charge.
Very old Hotel .
The reception staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Rest there was nothing to like
The access to the room is thru a very uncomfortable staircase. No idea how a hotel can operate in Europe with such condition of access. Toilet door was broken
It was ok as a stop for 1 night, but not more..
Hotel definitely needs renovation.
Staff was nice.
The area where hotel is located is not great.
Its like near the city but its ghetto. We couldnt sleep because of the street fights.
Price Size of room Central location It offers very decent value in a town of largely grim and/ or expensive hotels. Room was cleaned every day.
It's all a bit old and tired. Immediate surroundings are scruffy, but then so is most of central Brussels
Honestly I didnt like much... Was little scared going back to the hotel at night. But at least it was clean in the room.
The room did not have a window which was quite spooky. The hotel itself, well... I wouldn't go back there.
the location is great and the stuff was nice and helpful.
the sheets were not so clean
The location was close to what we wanted to see. The man at the desk was very nice and helpful.
Our room was very dark with no windows near the bed. The window was in the bathroom and around the corner of a cabinet so no direct air came to the area where we slept. It was a little claustrophobic. We were glad it was chilly at night because the room would have been horrible if it had been hot! Our kids had a room with windows in the bedding area which was nice for the air but really noisy in the middle of the night. The location was good for sightseeing but the street the hotel is on is pretty "sleezy" with buildings that look abandoned. There were a lot of x rated shops around the area.
noisy location of room
Fantastic value for money, helpful staff, clean and spacious room and in the middle of the city
The location was in the center near the shopping area, grand place and near the metro.
Everything else was just wrong. Our room was on the 3rd floor and the stairs were very narrow (no elevator) so we were simply unable to take our luggage to our room. We had to leave the suitcases in a luggage room that was closed from midnight till 8 in the morning. During that time the reception was closed, so checking in after a late night flight is not possible at this hotel. The shower was perfect and big, but the rest of the bathroom has to compensate for that, meaning you have to squeeze yourself through the small space between the sink and shower to get to the toilet. There wasn't even a new toiletrol in the room!
the staff were the best! very helpful and even let me use their computer! Super satisfied with it! very good location in the middle of the city, clean room.
