Central location - 2 min to Brussels Nord. Internet quite quick. Breakfast OK. Not crowdy, maybe one dozen of rooms. |

I liked it, and will stay again. I think this is the cheapest bed in Brussels with an en suite, and the room I had this time was well above average for a cheap sleep. Don't expect a glossy corporate hotel (the Crowne Plaza is just on the other - better- side of the train tracks), but for a budget option you can do much worse. I don't really mind seedy - which is just as well, as Brussels can be very seedy and this place is right in the grim bit. I wouldn't recommend for a lone woman traveller arriving late. |

The hotel itself was very nice. Good room, clean bathroom, etc. And the staff was very kind. It is near to the North Station which is very practical if you wish to get the train to know nearby cities. It is also very easy to come from and go to the airport. The location was actually not the best. We felt uncomfortable to come back late. |

+ Near a major railway station + Near to a nice little park + Decent breakfast The stairs leading the rooms upstairs could be wider, if you have a big backpack it might be difficult. Any/thing/one wider than 3 feet may not get through. |

Albergo is my favorite address in Brussels... As a hotel, it has all the basic conveniences a business or holiday traveller needs (good breakfast, working internet, clean rooms, etc...) The staff makes this hotel really exceptional: smiling, kind, helpful (especially Angelique and Sonia). The manager is always present and ready to solve any problem. If you are travelling with heavy luggage, pay attention as there is no elevator... |

Easy going and big room for 3 people. Perfect for a budget stay in Brussels. You had to walk through a couple of dodgy blocks before reaching the centre but nothing major unless you are a single female returning to the hotel late at night, then I'd recommend to take a cab. |

Good price for a double room with ensuite. I had a basement room which was relatively spacious and quiet (if a bit dingy). Some of area around hotel a bit seedy esp in the evening. Room a bit dark and dingy, especially the bathroom. |

Hotel is very convenient (5 minute walk from the Gare du Nord) once you figure out its exact location. Breakfast was excellent with long hours and the staff was very nice and friendly. Room was nicely cleaned each day. Getting all my luggage up the narrow steps. |

Excellent location, both calm and close to the center. Cheap price for big, confortable rooms. The breakfast buffet is poor and the staff, although friendly, could be more professionnal and serviceable. |

the best thing about the hotel was the free wifi access in all rooms. and the staff were all very friendly, although the man on night shift didn't speak french (a bit strange for a hotel in brussels). it needs new carpet and a good cleaning. |

The hotel is conveniently situated at the heart of Brussels, close to good restaurants and bars and also within easy reach of the Metro and trams. Having to share a loo with fellow guests, but I knew that when I booked! |
