horrible, noisy, you will not get any sleep at night
Breakfast and people in hotel
-- Close to Gare du Nord -- price
-- Bad district -- Old-furnished room and the hotel itself. Quite dirty and rusty bathroom. Not really convenient place to stay.
Location is good, within couple of minutes you may reach the tram which connects to metro line. There are night shops around. Free WiFi was working without any probelm (most of the time). Breakfast is good at a convenient price.
I stayed in this hotel 4 years ago for almost 1 month, without having any problem, now I see that lots of things have changed. The room I stayed in (Residence building) was horrible in every way, had no window, had a very distinctive smell of mold, the door didn't close properly, bathroom was in a very bad condition... and the sheets were dirty. The personnel tries to be helpful but can't say they are friendly. To be honest you may find much much better hotel at these prices in Brussels.
The location is great, very near to the station. Good value for money
Dirty room, awful smell (probably indian food) in the room and also on the corridor. Small room, not like in the pictures, the corridor is very small, the elevator fits only 2 persons. The bathroom was very dirty, full of mold, insanitazed. I would rate this hotel as half of star at most.
location, room ,staff ,dirty .
I was on floor 4, there was someone above me in floor 5 awake from 2:30 till 7 am. the floor boards squeaked and the ceiling is paper thin and could not sleep
location breakfast Staff
the bath is very cold
Close to public transport
Room is very small Wifi quality is very poor Only one electric outlet in the room Elevator and heating does not work sometime properly
The location was close to Nord
The place is super dirty and bathrooms have leaky faucets and the blankets have a bad foul smell
lots of street noise (and even yelling kid in hall way at 2 a.m.)
I like the place near la Gare du Nord area. Near Metro Botanique
Need to change towel if needed
I loved the church near the hotel and it took only 10 minutes to get to the most interesting places in the city center and the central railway station too.
The room was even bigger than we expected, very tidy, even with a terrace. The surrounding was nice, calm, no noisy traffic or clubs. The breakfast (6€) was normal (baguettes, cheese, salami, yoghurts, coffe or tea,...), but enough for half a day. :)
The Wi-Fi signal was very low. We had suspicious door in the hall of our room which had "private" written on it and was locked. However, nobody came during night or day, so nothing wrong happened. :) The bed was probably too soft, but it depends on personal prefferetions.
- Clean room - Not to far from subway - Warm - Good value for money - Clean towels We had a pleasant stay at this hotel.
- Slow internet - No slippers - The elevator and lobby are a little narrow
For the price, this hotel was good value. I have stayed in more glamorous places but basic is fine. Don't mind walking but be warned it you can't, it's a 20 minute hike to the centre
Poor wifi. Breakfast not great. Stairway poorly lit
the bed is comfortable
no towels in the the bathroom
Good location Good transport links
Staff courtesy Cheap Accomodation Value for money
Neighborhood location No hall or computers Poor light in the room
We had a crew of technical engineers for a short stay in this hotel. They are use to travel, all of them grown men, not spoiled cleaning ladies. Rooms were full of mold, filthy and unclean. Noise all night long. Not a single positive thing to recommend.
Location is good, near to Botanique metro station, from where you can walk or take 92 or 93 tram for two stations. I booked a room for 1person and I get a spacious room with 3 single beds and a balcony, in the 3 star wing, which is 20m near the reception wing . The surroundings are pretty safe, never got problems, although I got sometimes late after midnight in hotel. The receptioners are nice and helpful and one of them is from Romania which for me was a pleasant surprise!
Although the room was very clean, the access corridors are pretty old and need to be repainted. But overall nothing to spoil the good impression!
No windows in the room
