good value for money
A weird smell in the room and the lobby, water passing very slowly in the sink and bath tub, they did not change the towels the next day.
Close to city center (2.5 km and a lot of public transports (STIB.be - 17EUR for 72H ticket; including bus 12/21 to/from airport). Acceptable restaurant near hotel. Excellent Wi-Fi (we were on ground floor) It is 2 star hotel; clean and with helpful staff. As we run Brussels marathon they allowed us late check out for free.
Not so comfortable bed.
Nice hotel, you get what you pay for, nice staff. Location little out of city centre but nice bar beside hotel and small shop. I would book again
Toilets, wifi, charging sockets
few mins walk from botanique station and few mins from gar du nord. breakfast not large but plentiful. staff are friendly. room was spacious.
Staff was good and offered me to change the room but the first impression makes you want to leave as soon as possible.
Smell,CleanlinessQuality,Safety badly maintained room.
Dirty, shabby room, unsafe location, zero service
Good price, good wifi, near the center.
Damp, smelly, noisy, unclean, uncomfortable and in a very dodgy area
Location was fine.
no plug for the bathroom sink mould on the tile-grouting around the bath very poor paintwork very little space for clothes - just a single wardrobe (filled with spare bedding!)
ROOM WAS SPACIOUS BREAKFAST WAS GOOD
NARROW ACCESS TO THE ROOM NO WINDOWS ON THE WALLS
far from local city and wifi is slow
cheap and in a good location
Fair price Good situation inside city Cleanliness
week iFi Small rooms
- receptionist's service mind - no make up room (dirty)
The room I stayed was big, there was a terrace, it was nice. And the hotel is not pretty close to downtown (1000 m) but it'a close to Brussels Nord station and tramway station. I remember when I searched for hotels in Brussels, there was not cheap options, and I guess Albert Hotel is worth in such an expensive city. Oh, and there's a frigo in the kitchen if you are in need of it. I had bought some cheese so I used it.
I stayed in a building that is not the the building where the reception is. So I gotta walk in the street. It's few meter, but maybe anyone else could be scaried. The staff could be more sympathetic. I arrived late, and an old guy did my check in, and I gotta ask about wifi and breakfast info, because he didn't told me anything. In the morning, a blond young woman was in the reception and she is absolutely antipathetic. Ops, the water in the bathroom wasn't draining very well. And the hotel is not pretty close to downtown (1000 m).
- The bathroom need a renovation. - I don't really like the neighborhood.
Good breakfast, kind staffs, clean rooms, and position quite comfortable (10 min by walk to botanique metro station, 2-3 min by walk to noctis, tram and buses)
Be careful with the elevator! you might remain locked into it!
They gave me room in adjacent building called Albert Residential. The room has no window with severe smell of dampness, very hard to tolerate, very weak Wifi.
The location is not far from the city center. You can easily walk there. Check in at 14 o clock and check out at 12 o clock.
Hotel is situated in a neighbourhood Schaerbeek - for a woman alone it is not very safe to walk there at night. In a bigger group I think it is ok.
The location is 5 min to the metro and the Brussels Noord train station and at 15 min walking distance to the city center. Quiet neighborhood. There is a non stop shop nearby and also a Carrefour Express.
The wifi is a bit slow in the room and it disconnects after 2-3 minutes when your phone enters in standby mode. You are able to check your email and post something on social network profiles though. It might work better in the reception area, I've seen people hanging out there with their laptops, but I haven't tried it.
Its near a tram line and it also close to the more up market hotels This can be useful if you intend to attend events with friends that may be staying in more expensive locations
There was only one computer which require password and confirmation to use password were also required for the wifi that identified the user also the computer could be viewed by everyone while you used it not great if you have to input credit details
wardrobe contents smelly
Nothing "good" from what I saw. Maybe there is something better there, but ... it was not for us! Ah! Good breakfast (nothing special)
1. Complains from the reception why we went there at 13.30' instead of 14.00' !. 2. The WORSE room I have ever stay in my life ! No window in the room or in the bathroom. Mold on the walls, and smell cause to the moisture. Dirty walls too. The cloth on the small table, dirty, foul of spots. No air conditioning, no fridge. TV: bad signal. Wifi: complicate registration. The receptionist -helpful enough- but in a mood : "Hey, you are bothering!" It was just for 1 night, so I complain in the morning when leaving. THE ANSWER: " It was the only room availiable when you booked". BUT, it wasn't so crowded situation, and if there was a better room availiable later, why the reception didn't change us to a better room? I understund that it was a very cheap prise for them through internet (52 Euros per night), and... that was what I reserved !! If someone had a better experience there, let's write it !
