Friendly, helpful staff. Brilliant buffet breakfast. Small independent hotel not one of a corporate chain. One of few offering a family suite of adjoining rooms. Perfect for us and our 15 year old daughter who needs her own space and doesn't want to share our room on a 'roll out bed' or converted sofa Difficult to find due to a 'split' street (it's right at the top end opposite the bus terminus), but easy when you know how!

Well positioned and underground car park nearby. Room comfortable and though on the front over looking bus station, double glazing meant it was quiet (this might be a problem in the summer). All sites within 10 mins walk across the square and along the main shopping street. Breakfast excellent. A good spot for a couple of nights on a city break.

The hotel is very conveniently positioned for walking into the city, and has parking facilities quite near. The hotel was comfortable and the breakfast was good. The fact that there is no lift and the stairs are quite narrow is a bit of a problem if you are not very mobile.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to assist with any special requests and nothing seemed too much trouble. The room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. The lady serving in the dining room was wonderful and made us feel very welcome. The only small negative was road noise. The hotel seems to he on one of the main routes into Brugge and is right opposite a bus stop. It was quite loud with the windows open and being summer we really needed some fresh air. That said, we all had a very good night's sleep and weren't actually disturbed by the noise.

We stayed in a family room which was two bedrooms adjoined by a bathroom all well appointed and clean. The hotel is very near old town and all the main tourist sights and the restaurant recommendations made by the hotel staff were excellent. No complaints.

Good location close to station, 5 - 10 minute walk to main tourist area. Room small but very clean and well decorated. Good quality bed linen. Excellent en-suite bathroom with powerful shower - all looked recently refurbished. Very helpful staff and good english spoken. Breakfast excellent with wide selection to choose from. Public areas tastefully furnished and well maintained. Travelled via Eurostar, but could have easily driven to Bruges as underground car parking is nearby to hotel. Very enjoyable trip and hotel provided value for money in an expensive city. We had a second floor room facing the back - some minor traffiic noise from the ring road in the mornings, but nothing to worry about. Other than breakfast, there are no refreshment facilities at the hotel - small hot drink facility in the room would have been appreciated.

The hotel is 5-10 minutes from the rail station and is just in front of bus stop where buses go to train station and city center. The hotel is quite and located on the main road. The city center is just 5 minutes walk. My room was no. 1 and it was just next to the reception and the windows were facing the main road. The receptionist was helpful and the lady at the kitchen so nice and kind. The room was good, comfortable. They had good breakfast as I noticed. It was accessible to the city center from left, rail station to the right and the miniwaterpark which is 5 minutes from the hotel. The room was facing the main road which made it a bit noisy. The bath room was just like plane lavatory very small and the flush was broken but somehow was working.

Friendly staff providing a good in-house service and recommendations for eating out etc. Simple but good breakfast. Room small but comfortable with a good size bathroom; great shower, full size bath and good lighting - very important for the ladies. Would definitely go back.

“I was travelling with two young children. Owner was very pleasant and helpful. We had a good size room for 3 plus a great bathroom. There is a small lift, thus no problem with bringing bags upstairs. Decor was very pleasant and room was clean. We had a back room so there was no traffic noise. There was free access to a computer for browsing the internet. There was parking available close to the hotel (for a fee).” Robert, Fareham |
