De Keyser Hotel  

The location at the railway station.

The windows of room 207 go to the roofs of other houses, which are covered with cigarette butts. There is gauze on the window instead of curtain lace, and what is more, it was half torn apart when I arrived. When I was leaving, I ordered a taxi at the reception, but had to wait for a very long time. The concierge went away, and the taxi did'n arrive at all. I had to walk all the way to the railway station, carrying the heavy baggage. I do not want to recommend this hotel to anyone else. I've got a huge amount of impressions about Belgium, but all the negative is synonym to De Keyser hotel.

It was a nice hotel , it's located in the center. And the public parking available behind the hotel . good to stay there by your self .

We had to change room because in the first one they give us the fan in the toilet and the air condition in the room were broken,so I have to downgrade with a smaller one but newly refurbished..

Was more like a 3 star than a four.

The staff we're very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Breakfast was satisfactory.

The hotel bedroom we were given was to our disgust (Room 903). We arrived late at night the room was damp, the "Air conditioning" was off, when turned on it produced a disgusting smell, so we had to turn off again and sleep in the damp and coldness of the room. The room was old and dated. The en-suite was tiny. There was a hand-held shower in the bath, there was no wall mounted shower to stand under and get a reasonable shower each day. Our last morning staying there we had to wait for a table to have breakfast. There was a strong sewer like smell in the lobby at times, not sure how the staff worked in this condition. On our final day, we booked an alternative hotel due to the poor facilities we had received.

Good Hotel but does not give you a 4 star feel..However very clean rooms though we got a room where the window could not be opened and facing a wall..Break fast was excellent ..Gr88 Location...Overall reasonable experience..

Room could have been bigger with windows that could be opened and facing some kind of a view instead of a big bland wall..

Internet in the room costs 88 Eur a week!!! Not enough light - impossible to read.TV Did not work. Absence of robe and sneakers. Very cold in the room. The conditioner did not work properly well. The breakfast is poor and every day the same - eggs!!! And the water is added in the juice just before the travelers what reflects great disrespect of hotel staff.

Location was perfect for my trip and the Hotel was furnished to my tastes which are contemporary..Good selection for breakfast.

There seemed to be guest smoking in the Hotel areas which left an unpleasant smell & Air quality.. There was an unsecured porn channel on the tv which could have been accessible to minors..

The room was not prepared for a twin as I requested and was confirmed. We had to separate the beds our self after complaining the buffet breakfast was very poor quality with little choice 1 type of orange juice which was not even pure juice. coffee machine not working and had to wait ages for coffee lack of hot water while having shower and having to wait for the hot water to come back on. bulbs in light fittings not working so had to request new ones. automatic light in hall not going off in the middle of the night which meant interrupted sleep. This hotel is definitely not a 4 star hotel and i will be making a complaint as very poor all round.
