Perfect central location, next to theatres, but quiet. Lovely large rooms. Very clean. Fantastic shower. Great breakfast.

Horrible bullet-like pillows and cheap synthetic duvets. It was very odd to have no room service (or restaurant) at weekends. These things spoiled an otherwise pretty great stay, especially as 2 of our party were ill and room-bound for 2 days.

The breakfast buffet was good and wide-ranging and was also served until 10.30 which was great if you wanted to lie in! The breakfast room was clearly not big enough for the number of guests staying so we had to wait for a table. That was not a problem, though, as we were able to help ourselves to tea and coffee while we waited. I liked the central location. There are sufficient shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance. Also within walking distance is the market with lots of local produce, which we found fascinating. We also liked the fact that there were tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Just what you need when you first arrive!

The only thing we didn't particularly like was being on the first floor with a window out onto the upper level of the car park. We sometimes had to close the window because of the exhaust fumes.

The room was large, well-appointed and very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. The staff members were very warm, friendly and helpful. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay and excellent value for money.

Excellent quiet location, clean and spacious room, first class breakfast.

The hotel is good. The breakfast was really nice, big choice, warm meals. The reception works 24/7, nice staff who gave me new keys for my room when I forgot them without any questions. Clean room, free coffee and tea in the room, separate toilet and bathroom, and bathroom was the best: it was really a bath, not just a shower, and there were all kinds of stuff there: lotions, sewing kit, vanity kit etc etc etc, it was also very nice.

Everything was ok, but the hotel just isn't 4* (as it claims), it's 3*.

Wide assortment for breakfast, huge room and excellent position. I would absolutely come back there.

I don't know her name, but there was the sweetest asian kitchen staff member...

The hotel was very central

We got two single beds pushed together as a double even though we had specified a double room in our booking. We didn't ask to move as we were only staying for one night and didn't think it was worth the hassle.

Good breakfast, served until a later time than many, the check out time is also better for late risers!

Location

The location of the hotel is excellent, and the service brilliant. The heating in our room did not work and the door did not lock. We were immediately moved to another room. Brilliant.

Car parking fees were horrendous, and that is saying something from someone that comes from the London area

Location, cleanliness, excellent staff, great breakfast, really comfy beds. And having tea and coffee facilities in the room - marvellous after a long journey.

Toilet in the cupboard and without an extractor fan - dreadful and should not be allowed - very French (we live en France)

The staff were very helpful and polite. The room was clean and we got everything we need.

The sound isolation was poor in the rooms. No room service (food) during the weekend!

Hotel was full and so we had to wait to get a table for breakfast as there were not enough breakfast tables.

Good location, quite central and with trams around the corner. Abundant breakfast, much choice. Room in the back very quiet, good mattrass, pilows and duvet. Room had good space.

Quality of cheese, ham and jams quite poor. Bathroom ok in principle but one side of tap hung loose from wall and diverter did not work properly. Reading lights with nasty blue lights, one was flickering. Furniture not very nice, walls bare apart from many (superfluous) lamps. Not a 4-star hotel but 3-star.

Great location in the middle of Antwerpen

The hotel charges additional costs for gluten free bread although breakfast is included in the hotel room price. The hotel management refuses to reply to a customer's question of their policy how they treat unequally customers having celiac disease.

Nice, comfortable hotel with friendly & helpful staff - Antwerp is very cool city break destination & hotel provides nice base, especially if you are going to gig / show at adjourning theatre - recommended!!
