The location of the hotel was ideal for the centre of Ypres being only a couple of minutes from Meningate and seconds from the main square. The room was clean with ample space. The hotel itself is basic, apart from a clean room (which is important) there was little else available (there is internet access via a cable, really needs to be wi-fi now). I thought the price was too high for what you get. |

This pleasant hotel is in a quiet street & within a minute's walk to the Cloth Hall, city centre, shops & restaurants & makes an ideal base for touring the WW1 battlefields. |

We liked the size of the room and the bathroom. The main thing was the helpfulness of the staff, who gave us lots of info about Ieper etc. If I return to Ieper I would use the hotel again. The stairs turned a tight corner and were open on one side. They were also made of marble and they did not inspire confidence in my father who is 85. Perhaps a warning could be given about this for elderly or infirm people as there appeared to be no lift. |

Central location. Cleanliness of hotel. Excellent bathroom. Breakfast food fresh and well presented. Interesting public areas. Staff helpful and friendly I was on second floor - very steep climb up two staircases, the second of which was very narrow. 'Lights out' in main public areas after 23.00, although there were emergency floor lights to guide your way. |

GThe room was compact but comfortable. The breakfast was good and the staff were helpful. I asked, in my bookinbg for a downstairs room as I am disabled. This request was sent to the hotel but the form used by booking.com meant that it was not prominent and the hotel staff had obviously not read it. I was allocated an upstairs room. Fortunately they were able to supply a downstairs room but as they are undergoing renovations it was at the end of a corridor and we had to go outside and walk on a temporary plywood surface that was unsuitable fo a disabled person. The room was far too hot and although we turned off an extra heater we were unable to control the central heating. The bed was very low (seems to be common in Belgian hotels) and the bath with overhead shower was unsuitable for a disabled person. |

A nice well managed hotel, good breakfast, helpful staff, they do have free internet but very slow It should be made clear there is only on street parking not private parking, which has to be paid for in the day. The rooms can be noisy due to very thin doors and it was quiet expensive for what is provided |

Location... and very friendly owner/staff (2), extremely helpful. Large room with modern, clean bathroom. It cannot be classed as a hotel....bed & breakfast establishment only. It has no lounge or general seating area. The bar is small and occupies a small, partitioned corner of the breakfast room.No other meals are served at this "hotel". Expensive for what you get (bed & breakfast only) |

The location of the hotel to the centre of Ypres was great. The hotel was located on a quiet side street with a very nice small pub/bar almost opposite. There was no parking at the hotel, however less than 10 minutes walk away was a public car park where you can leave the car over night. It is also possible to park in some of the side streets after 6pm, but you have to be up early to move the car. |

The location was fantastic right next to main square The man on reception the most unwelcoming ever.Opened the door barely an inch when we rang the bell and said "We are not open for another hour."Then started to shut the door on us.Extremely cold and unhelpful. The cost was taken from my credit card a week before so the hotel obviously felt it didn't have to make an effort. The pillows were like a slab of concrete-unbearable to sleep on.The heating was on full blast with no opening windows in the room.No hairdrier.Horrible flowery bedspreads.A receipt was shoved at us from behind the desk when we checked out.No pleasantries. No eye contact.Just the completion of a transaction. All for over £100 a night.Never again. |

Location and quick acces to the main sights of Ieper Very narrow staircase and no lift so it was difficult to carry luggage to and from the rooms. As well we had a member of our party on crutches so the lack of a lift made it diifficult for that person and angerouse as there was no handrail on the lower staircase. |

The hotel is one block away from main city square. Terribly poor value for money. A building site, rooms were cold, featureless, silly little table cloths and plastic flowers. Corridor outside room very noisy, no fresh air cannot open any windows as room has no outside windows. |

Good location for the centre and within easy walking distance for local sightseeing. The brochure from tOURSIT iNFORMATION stated that evening meals were available - there were not. Breakfasts (buffet style) excellent. |
