Alma Grand Place Hotel

The air-conditioning was controled by the reception. I had do call the reception and ask for cooler or hotter... It's very noisy, so you can't sleep with in turned on. One of the reception's man was very unfrendly.

Excellent location and very friendly staff.

The hotels looks very cheap. The room had old, shaby and cheap furniture and orange/red carpet that was awful. The bed had very cheap linens and old, dirty cover. The bathroom tiles had tons of mold and a dirty bathtab with this strange wooden floor that can be lifted and bathtub cleaned, hovewer, nobody cleaned this for ages. Cheap towels. Tv was very old and the remote did not work. Sound on the tv could not be put down and was extremly loud. Extra charge for internet, very expensive. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Location is very good, five minutes walk with the luggage to the central railway station, from which the trains every 30 min. to the airport, for euros 5.20 ! Convention center as well as the grand square also only in 5 min walking distance.

Check in available only at 4 pm, extremely s l o w - it took 45 min to check in with a queue of 5 people before us. WiFi for extra charge 5 Euros /1 hour !!

Clean, quiet room. Courteous staff.

Internet not working during my stay. Breakfast too expensive at 12 Euros.

I liked location to the Grand place, metro and train station connection to the airport. I booked 60 days beforehand so had a great price for three nights.

Internet was not functional, and usually was 10€ per 24h, expensive. The heating in the room was not self-regulating, was a bit cold during the night.

Location is excellent. 5 Minutes to Gare Centrale. Lots of restaurants and great nightlife on the doorstep. Hotel is comfortable and well maintained.

Pillows were a bit funny!

Perfectly situated for visits to the centre of Bruxelles. The hotel was clean and comfortable. No traffic noise.

The bed pillows were too small.

Shower in room 101. Very poor breakfast. Cost of wifi.

The location was oretty good. The restaurant seems to be nice. The size of the room : ok and the staff was good. The king size bed was nice. All materials in the room were in wood, looked like recently refurnished. Tv with international channels. The towels and soaps have been replaced whereas we stayed 2 nights. The hotel is safe, cctv in corridors and all... Anyway, positive appreciation.

The main entrance is a bit discret, we passed by without noticing it. The sheet to cover the bed had a hole (burned by a cigarette). For the normal price of the room, I find it cheap to keep it so, while they could fix it or better : replace it. But for the reduced price, then, we have what we pay for. We found 2 hairs in the shower. The Internet was charged. Compared to the rest of the room, the sink area (not the sink itself) was in plastic...

Excellent location near to what you want to see in brussels :) large rooms and bathroom! Safe in room also added bonus.

Rooms very cold and no duvet just sheet and blanket on bed. Hotel staff could also be a little friendlier but overall ok stay for one night!

Breakfast was very limited. It was the lowest choice I have ever seen at a European hotel and the 12 euro price tag was outrageous for what they offered.

It was close to the rail station but also very close to the Christmas markets

There was nothing I would complain about, it was very good value for money, but we did think that the breakfast was overpriced for what it was.
