Very central location, friendly and helpful staff. My room was little weird but it was funny to experience dublex hotel room. Not luxury but clean and new rooms.

Location was excellent from the central train station and very close to the Grand Palace.Easy walk from the station to the hotel.

Breakfast had a very limited selection of items. The pillows on the bed need to be replaced.And the heat could not be controlled at the room..Wifi should be included and it's an extra expense.

Room was a bit too cold, and there was no way to control the heating. Upon returning late back the night porter threatened not lot let me in because I had taken the key with me.

Hard to find. Forget about good night sleep - beds and pillows are so uncofortable, staff was unprofessional and so unfriendly.

The policy of the hotel which charged me for a double reservation that I had never made. One of the staff members (his mane was not given to me) treated me very unkindly and made me burst into tears. Unacceptable bahaviour only by him. Impersonal hotel...I Haven't still received an answer to my complaint email...What a pity!

The only good thing about this hotel is its location (near the railway station) but still it was difficult to find the entrance without asking the people on the streets

I had read about the problems with hot water in alma grand hotel before my booking but didn't think that it could touch us. Reception didn't notify about the absence of hot water in bothrooms in time of check-in, later they just promised to fix it but nothing happened till the check-out. So be ready! The other case happened with our friends - it seems everyone can enter your room in time of cleaning and take everything he wants. The cleaning woman and reception will do nothing for you later to bring back your things and prove that it wasn't you who came into the room. Be careful. Breakfast - no buffet, you can just buy croissant and water. It's the last hotel I could recommend in my lovely Brussels.

We had a room on the street and it was very noisy on a saturday night with all the night clubs and pita around, so if you go on weekend drink more beer than we did it will helps you to sleep better!!

The hotel left very good impression. Is not smth luxurious, but clean and cosy. You have all you need in the room. The best thing about this hotel is the location!!! Its just 1-2 mins walking from Grand Place. In the morning i had to take early train to the airport from the central train station and the way there didn't take me more than 5 mins. I left the hotel 15-20 mins before the departure and that was too much, was finally waiting for the train at the station. The check-in procedure was fast and simple. You have to provide them with your credit card as a garancy, dont like that, but that is what many hotels do... I payed by check-in with cash and avoided this procedure. Great news: they have finally wifi free! To pay 10€ for wifi in 2013 is not th best idea, so this change is making this hotel more attractive! Also i think there are some changes in the breakfast pricing, now is not the exact price, they charge for the dishes. Idnt try it, had to leave too early. Staff was ok! Especially the guy hat checked me in. He was polite and helpfull. The night shift receptionist was little strange... Cant say was rude, just little unfriendly... But what to do, he had to work during the night.

And now some negative sides. Actually i found two only. Pillows and aircondition. Pillows are too hard and small. Dear Alma Grand Place Hotel management, please change these pillows. For me pillow quality is very important, so this was little problem. And air condition is TOO loud! You cant normally sleep. It stops and starts all night. Next time if will be staying there will ask to turn it off, cause this really doesnt give you chance to sleep.

It was very cold in the rooms. There is no heating. I do not recommend for the stay in winter.
