The Hotel Ambassador is located in the middle of Oostende, 1150 ft from the beaches. It offers newly renovated rooms with flat-screen TVs and a fish specialties restaurant on site.

The rooms are furnished with hardwood floors and all have a sitting area. Guests will enjoy extra large beds and private tiled bathrooms.

The restaurant Fish serves a seafood specialty menu prepared with fresh fish and shrimps, freshly caught in the region. A lunch is also offered during the afternoon.

Ambassadeur is located at the Wapenplein, which is a lively tourist area with shops and restaurants. De Haan is less than 25 minutes away by car. The city of Bruges can be reached within a 30-minute drive from the hotel.

Anonymous Young couple Germany October 6, 2011	Central position in Oostende, vicinity of restaurants, coastline, coast tramway line. Best positioned when coming by train (no parking) ... and then using the tramway to travel along the coastline. No parking possibility (nearby lot charges 21 EUR/night). Unsecured reception, key are lying on display on the table, restaurant staff only passes by occasionally upon request. Don't expect a "nice view" when getting a room facing the backyard... I have to say that it is overpriced and breakfast was an extra 11 euros each. I was very disappointed in the attitude there the cleaners were fine but other than booking in no-one welcomed us or treated us as guests and when we went to their coffee shop despite having three waiting staff we were ignored. Anonymous Mature couple United States of America July 25, 2011	Adequate accomodations in the heart of the city. The room was very clean, but not much to it. We were able to park our car at the parking meter on the sqaure overnight for free, as long as we moved by 0900. That worked well and saved paying for a parking garage. Checking in easy. Hotel hard to find being first time in Ostende and driving, Paking is 200meters away. Nergens was een ligstoel te bespeuren. Het was volgepropt met een fitnesstoestel en dozen<; Geen frisse lucht en te donker en ongezellig. Het bad op mijn kamer was niet proper. Ik vond het minder dat men de kamers gerenoveerd heeft zonder de ramen te vervangen door dubbel glas en er zouden ook gordijnen voor de ramen mogen hangen.
