Location near beach-just out of town. Good breakfast and dining room.

Bathroom no fan working, plastic folding door arrangement. Cushions instead of pillows on bed. Hotel aiming to be boutique but not there, yet?

We have been to De Panne many times - but have never stayed at this hotel. The owners very helpful and friendly and the hotel is very clean, modern and family friendly. Would definately stay again. Unfortunately we did not use the restaurant facilities as we were visiting friends and dining elsewhere. Next time we stay we will definately try the restaurant.

A wonderful location to commence our Flanders Battlefield Tour with excellent knowledge gleaned from the Patron. Good local restaurants nearby. Private secure hotel parking.

Really friendly staff - very helpful and attentive - that's quite rare these days. Location was really easy to find, car park was ample and the breakfast was fine. Very close to the beach and right on the main restaurant street so no problem tracking down dinner. Quiet room at night (sept) and a decent bathroom/shower.Thoroughly recommended.

Such welcoming staff, with good command of english, so felt at ease rather than outsiders. Room was modern, smart and spotlessley clean. Our third stay at the Ambassador, and would never hesitate to return. On site parking is also a huge bonus for the security and convenience. Breakfast is included with excellent range of choices for any tastes.

We stayed on Thursday 14th June 2012. We were looking for just an overnight stay at a reasonably short distance from Calais as our ferry landed at 19.20 & it's location at De Panne was ideal being approximately 45 minutes from Calais (before we moved on into Europe early the next day). It was situated one short block back away from the expansive sea front & well organised beach. The hotel externally & internally was bright & fresh & our room was very clean & pleasantly decorated. The room was well laid out with large & very comfortable twin beds & duvet, a large wardrobe & a side table. Two bottles of water were provided free along with some sweets. We had a corner room which had windows on each side & faced the road. We had the windows open during the night & there were no noise problems. The well laid out car parking at the rear was spacious & secure. We were recommended an excellent restaurant a short walk from the hotel for an evening meal. The breakfast room was spacious & nicely laid out. Breakfast was included & was excellent with a really good choice of fresh items & could not have been better. The staff were very welcoming & excellent in every way & more than suited our requirements to a tee. 3rd JULY 2012

Nice small family hotel (with around 40 rooms) for weekends with kids or friends. A good location in the central part of De Panne. The friendly & well motivated staff. The good american breakfast (from 08:00 a.m. till 10:00 a.m.). We are going to come once again. The hotel can be recommend to anyone who are looking short & comfortable low budget accommodation.

The hotel was well situated close to the beach and restaurants. The owners live on the premises and are always present. They are charming and their standards are extremely high and this shows throughout the hotel. The locked car park (for which there is a fee) is closely monitored and essential as parking in the town is a nightmare!

It should be pointed out that a meal in the restaurant has to be booked in the morning. It is a set meal and served quite early (6.30 - 7.30 pm) which is ideal for families but a bit early for a 'mature couple' like ourselves. The meals looked extremely attractive but we prefer to have some choice. Regardless, we would not hesitate to return.

Modern, clean, bright and tastefully decorated hotel. Staff extremely helpful. Good selection of food at breakfast. Good quality bar food reasonably priced.

Rooms were a little on the small side. Hotel car parking expensive. However, there is limited free off-road parking nearby and inexpensive metered street parking by the hotel.

Die Herzlichkeit und Freundlichkeit der Besitzer und des Personals. Einfach unschlagbar! Die Küche übertifft 3 Sterne bei weitem, einfach lecker. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist echt super. Dann schlussendlich die tadellose Sauberkeit. Ich kann das Haus nur loben und empfehlen.
