Walk out 200 metres to the nearby market square and admire the famous Menin Gate in the vicinity. Find out about the history of this unusual city at the In Flanders' Fields Museum, based in the 13th century Cloth Hall that has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Stroll or cycle through the extraordinary streets of a city that was greatly destroyed during the First World War and was then reconstructed again in its original style.

Central position, flexibility to store bikes for us, nice room,friendly
staff, good breakfast.

Would expect tv in the room for this price which was e160. Room was
noisy until 1.30 due to bar opposite, apparently worse on Sunday nights,
but slept well later.

The hotel owner, Vincent, was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel has been recently renovated in a simple, chic style. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel is very centrally located and served a lovely breakfast. It was easy to find parking on the street outside. Lovely!
