Quiet location and not touristy Wonderful breakfast incl chocolate strawberry fountain, hams and cheeses.
Although some distance from train station this was not am issue as walked through town going there and back.
The proprietors was very kind and helpful. We arrived after 6pm but she was accommodating and gave good directions to the town center. The room was just big enough and the bathroom quite large with great shower. Breakfast was included in the price and was good, with made to order eggs and even a chocolate fountain with strawberries.
Parking for us was a ways down the street, but the owner did give us a display to put in the windshield so we would not get ticketed. The beds were not comfortable. If you have a back problem , the Marionette room with two twins is not for you! The mattresses collapsed in the middle and much too soft. The linens had an odd odor; This included sheets and towels. They probably need to be bleached once in a while to get that distinctive odor out.
Very friendly and obliging owner. Short walk to town-nice quiet location. Bookable parking.
The owner is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with nice decoration. Breakfast was quite rich.Surprise : there is a chocolate fondue !! The place is in a very quiet location near the windmills of Brugge (2 min walking time). It's only 1 km from the center of Brugge. Highly recommended !
We had booked a double roombut in fact it was a twin with two single beds joined together the linen was still separate. The nearest bus station is 500m away (Buses No 4,14). You better walk another 500m go directly to the center ..but if you want to go to the train station..that might be a problem.
The owner Christine is smiling and helpful. Breakfast is very beautiful. Location is perfect. We really enjoy our hotel. We were Brugge for honeymoon. In our room Christine give me a chocolate box for gift :)
The weather was cold and there is nothing to warm room. Beds are a bit uncomfortable.
Good breakfast Good location Parking for motorcycles
breakfast was good. staff friendly
steep stairs and no elevator. far from center
The owner of the B&B is really kind and gentle. Very rich buffet breakfast! Close to the city centre (10 min. walk)
The breakfast and the cleanliness
Really friendly and helpful host. Booked fairly last minute on a bank holiday, but was perfect for what we needed for just one night. Room was spacious and clean, nice breakfast included. Garage was available for €10. Would definitely recommend.
Very beautiful place. Old charming building. Roomy, clean and comfortable inside. Not far from center. Very, very affable, friendly and hospitable owner - my best wishes and gratitude to Marie-Christine.
It`s a unique opportunity to stay at the traditional house. We were in the New Year holidays, the house was beautifully prepared for Christmas. The hostess is very friendly & helpful. The house is warm, with beautiful view from the window in a charming courtyard. Room is bright and clean, with large bathroom. Breakfast was very tasty and varied, especially liked the chocolate fondue with strawberries and pineapple. Near there are the cheap private parking. Wi Fi is very well. Many thanks to Marie-christine again
Staying here was really wonderful! Room is big, nice, cosy. Lady of the house is very nice, helpful and she makes delicious breakfast. In this hotel you feel like you are at home. Everything was great!
Everything is super, a breakfast, a location, a parking place. It is a privat house with a very good-natured lady of this house
Room was clean, staff were lovely and breakfast was very good. Only a short walk to the town.
Very hospitable host, so lovely. Breakfast was superb. They have clearly put so much effort into ensuring guest comfort. Very quiet location in a residential area. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.
Only small piece of feedback - we had booked a twin room, and while it's common for this to mean two single beds joined together the linen was still separate and divided the bed.
The lovely lasdy, Marie Christine was really helpful and welcoming. We arrived much earlier than arranged, but she already had prepared the room, so we could leave luggage. it was a comfortable and bargain stay, breakfast lovely, sorted for the day.... I liked it that the house was out of the centre, as we saw more of the city to find it!.. Definitely recommended!
Th staff was exceptionally helpful with a map ready to help me explore. Breakfast was awesome including a chocolate fondue. My room was supplied with a handy binder of things to do and see in the area. And I had free street parking right outside the hotel.
I wasn't overly keen on the puppets in my room
This is what a good B+B should be. Helpful owner, handy location and a good selection for breakfast. It's a little way out from the main square but in our opinion that was no bad thing and made for a quiet and restful stay. We used the owner's garage for car parking and were very pleased to be offered an umbrella for the few minutes walk to the garage in the deluge that started just as we were leaving. After a hard day being a tourist there's a small bar with a choice of Belgian beers and food at reasonable prices a few minutes walk away overlooking one of the windmills. Definately worth considering if you're staying in Bruges.
Not so much a dislike just an observation - the double room is advertised as two single beds and unlike many places where there is some connection they really are two separate beds. Any couple hoping to be 'very close' may find a gap opening between or under them!
Small B&B with two room in old building. There are many cute and beautiful details... Breakfast is really perfect. Historic center is in 5-10 minutes walking. But if you have big luggage take taxi or go by bus - it's far from the station.
Love the lady owner where she offered us to pack our breakfast when we need to leave very early the next day. The room is very spacious and we love the bathroom very much. The stay made us felt very homely. The walk to the Bruges train station is approx 30 mins. Don't miss the 3 beautiful windmills near B&B.
The breakfast was very good; the room was always clean; Marie-Christine was very kind, she was always there to help us; the location of the B&B is a 15' walk from the town centre; the view from the room was great.
the house is old, and it has a certain smell that all old houses have; this may create discomfort for some.
Stuff is very friendly and helpful. Home like atmosphere. Nice breakfast with Belgium touch.
Great location, 15 minutes walking to the center. Cozy, comfortable room, big bathroom. There is a small fridge. Feels like being home, friendly owner.Very good breakfast.
Absolutely great host! Very helpful and nice. Although B&B with family occupying part of the house it was very private and quite and breakfast served at time of our choosing :)
