Very pleasant small hotel, with a lot of character. Good breakfast with a good choice of food. Owners very pleasant and keen to help. The hotel is in a quiet, safe area, but within very easy walking distance of sights. An excellent choice for a city break, and a welcome change from the corporate hotels. There are some very steep stairs to access some of the rooms, but the owner helps with luggage.

Excellent hospitality - we were welcomed by the owner and he gave us suggestions for places to see in Bruges. The hotel is beautifully decorated and there is a good choice of food for breakfast. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The walled garden is a quiet spot to relax after a busy day.

Our room was on the ground floor at the front of the hotel. As such we did hear a little bit of noise at night and the bath in our room was a little bit on the tight side. That said, these are only minor points and did not detract from what was a very enjoyable stay!

It's a good match to stay in an old building when travelling in Europe. I love it's typical European style building and decoration, old inner construction. It can really bring me refreshment for whom from Hong Kong. The host couple are very friendly and try their best to fulfill my requirement accordingly to the transportation arrangement. Appreciate their hospitality during my stay. Thanks:D

Same as all the other, great location, clean, friendly staff, very helpful with parking which can be a problem, don't listen to booking.com, call the hotel they can arrange secure parking for 15 euro's a night, bring a padlock. Breakfast buffet was standard euro fair, there is a reason they call it a continental breakfast. Room was good size, bright and clean, internet worked great. We had no issues with the stairs but they are a beast if you are older, keep jamming my finger on the hand rail coming down, not a big issue. And yes a shower curtain would be helpful, we were super careful and still half flooded the bathroom.

Central Location, easy to return for forgotten items, camera etc. Clean rooms and strong hot water in the shower. Free WiFi was perfect for the iPad. I personally like a stand up shower and this room only had a bath with no shower curtain. The room was also a bit cramped with two suit cases and carry-ons.

The Hotel was well placed within the Brugge and gave very easy access to the all the main attactions in this delightful city. The rooms were clean and well proportioned. The service was given with good humour and additional information such as access to the less well known attractions was very useful. Breakfast was easy going and not rushed, with plenty of choice. As the hotel is in the city centre there was some late night noise from a nearby bar and the rooms facing onto the street could do with double glazing. The only other problem was the shower, the shower head needed to have a wall fitting to hold it at head height and as the shower was in the bath a shower curtain is required to prevent flooding of the floor. (room 5)

Location of the hotel is excellent right in the centre of the town. Large room, comfortable bed, small bathroom no curtain shower. Could do with tea and coffee making facilities. Good breakfast. Price for what you get is to high. It is 3* hotel charging 4* prices. Fair price would be around 80 euros for a double room per night.

It's a very pleasant hotel that we have stayed in several times now. The owners are friendly and helpful, the rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. It has the advantage of secure car parking (which was my first reason for choosing it) and its location in the centre of Bruges is unbeatable.

good location, with family room Breakfast was disappointing, largely due to hurried service, reflecting the owners wishing to get it all over with as quickly as possible. run on military lines, made us feel that guests were unwelcome nuisance! Quality of food on offer also limited in range and disappointing in quality eg tinned fruit, rather than fresh fruit.

Lovely hotel in excellent location. Hotel is a short walk from the market place, but in a really quiet side street. Spacious room for us as family with teenager (bathroom had hand held shower - not ideal). Breakfast was good - lovely garden room. Secure parking facilities short walk from hotel. Would recommend staying at this hotel, and certainly stay here again ourselves.

This is the first hotel that we found that our family of five could very comfortably fit into one family room and still have plenty of space. A comfortable welcoming hotel, spotlessly clean with a good breakfast. Ideal location for the historic area of Brugge as it is within walking distance of the main shops / bars but also quiet and not discturbed by passing traffic. Not really a dislike but one very minor detail was the shower - it is a shower over a bath which was not a problem other than there was nothing to fix the shower head to on the wall at standing height so you had to hold it to stand in to shower.
