The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring Bruges. As we are a family of 4 and wanted 1 room for all of us the availability of such rooms, with this kind of access to the city, were limited. The accommodation was clean and tidy, plenty room for the four of us in the room and the staff were very helpful throughout our stay. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and I shall be using the Anselmus Hotel again in the future. |

the location is quiet and convenient; our room was very good, large double, plenty of space etc. A kettle and tea/coffee were provided on request, foc. Good hotel, better than most 3 star venues. An overbath shower is provided but the only shower hook was 30cm above the bath so it could only be used as an aide to bathing and not as a traditional shower (at least I can't stand and hold a shower hose and soap/wash myself at the same time!) So we had to resort to baths, twice a day; that must cost the hotel a lot and if the guest were in a hurry it would be inconvenient. |

The hotel was perfect for an overnight stay in Bruges, very close to places of interest and withing walking distance. The couple who ran the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The room was quite basic but clean and adequate. |

Proprietor very friendly and able to speak in 5 languages. Very helpful with telling us where to go and suggesting restaurants which were excellent. Extensive breakfast which again was really good value. A prefect holiday. |

We stayed a room with 3 beds. Both room and bathroom were spacious enough, and very clean. Breakfast is good enough. |

Friendly family run hotel. The staff were very helpful & pretty multilingual too. The room (had a ground flr room in the original part of the building) was very comfortable and very clean, if slightly dated decor - bathroom was sparkling! A good spread at breakfast, we especially liked the daily boiled egg. There was a computer in the lobby area for free use, & we could pick up the free wifi in our room too. Only 1 thing -the shower head (shower was a bath plus shower, not a shower cubicle) did not have a standing-height bracket - the bracket was located above the tap meaning you had to use it hand held and then put down whilst shampooing etc, or sit down in the bath. |

Peace & quiet and close to Town Square. There was not enough storage space. No drawers except in bedside cabinets. Wardrobe only a single size in a double bedroom and not suitable for 2 adults to store clothing. |

The owners were polite but unobtrusive, the breakfasts were lovely and the room was very comfortable. Bathroom was a little on the small side but that is common in europe. |

We had a very nice stay at the Anselmus Hotel. The location was good, the room and hotel were clean, breakfast was good, and the staff was very helpful. We had planned on paying with AMEX and they no longer take it, also we had a bath not a shower, but not a big deal. The water was hot and it had great pressure. This sounds silly but I have stayed in several European hotels where this can be an issue. |

The location of the hotel was excellent. Close to all the tourist routes. The room was quite small and the bathroom even smaller. Very difficult getting in and out of the very small 'P' shaped bath. No shower. |

Everything in the hotel was immaculately clean.... The room, bathroom, and breakfast area. The breakfast area is quite lovely, overlooking a charming courtyard with flowers. Staff is nice. And the location is perfect... Very close to everything but on a quiet street. The only problem I had was the room was tiny. Not enough room for a bureau, so no place to put my clothes. Since most visitors to Bruges probably only stay 1 night, this may not be a problem, but I stayed for 3. And a nice berry salad and a bowl of grapefruit/orange salad would have made all the difference at the breakfast instead of canned fruit. |

\the room was very clean and roomy for a triple. The proprietors were very helpful and efficient and explained how to reach the centre as well as went with us to take the car to an overnight safe garage. The breakfast was plentiful and served so beautifully in the conservatory opening onto a small courtyard with white roses and a statue. It was lovely to wake to the sound of the carillon and the budgerigars in their cage outside! |

Very friendly and kind staff (the hotel is family-run as it happens). Nice breakfast, spacious rooms (we were staying in a triple), pretty courtyard. Located very close to main attractions. Taxi to the station costs approximately EUR 8.70 There is no elevator (but that's because the city gov't enforces the preservation of Brugge's original appearance). One night there was some kind of loud party in a nearby pub, going on till 1 am. No air-con or fan in the room. |

The room (a triple) was immaculately clean and very comfortable. The breakfast (included) was wonderful; in addition to toast, fruit, cereal, coffee, croissants, cheese, jam, meat, and juice, we were also offered soft-boiled eggs made to order. The hotel also gave us maps with 2 walking tours of the city and the location of the hotel highlighted. This is a small, quiet hotel with a lot of charm that's an easy walk from the major sights and shops. It's a long walk from the train station, but so is everything else in town. |

Located in Brugge's historic city center, this family run hotel and it's 41 charming rooms come with splendid facilities. |
With its perfect location just behind the citys 13th century belfry, this modern yet intimate hotel is known for its trendy style and warm atmosphere. |
Hotel Ter Brughe is located along one of the most beautiful canals at 5 min. walking distance from the 'Markt' with the belfry tower in the quiet quarter of St. Gillis. |
Set in a former monastery dating back to the 17th century, directly in Bruges’ city centre, this hotel reflects the city’s typical medieval charm. Enjoy free entrance to the hammam. |
