all the rooms are clean and new enough. staff is polite and friendly. good deal for the price
the neighborhood is not the best of bruxelles but the street of the residence is quite clean and quiet. both metro and city center are not under the building but relatively close
Clean room, balcony, close to everything.
A little smelly, like from the toilet, probably it is not hotel but just from the canalization from the street.
First time I stayed: room on 3rd floor, street view, kitchenette, friendly staff, clean, wifi ok
Second time I stayed: smaller room in basement, wifi didn't work there, couldn't open windows to get fresh air at night and didn't fancy leaving door to the garden open at night.
Decent rooms, free WiFi
Distance from nearest metro/bus station (mainly because of the ongoing work on the tramway). No air conditioning/ ventilators. Expensive breakfast.
Great value for money!
Close to city center. Easy walking distance. Easy to get to and from airport. Room was good size. Excellent wifi connection. Able to pay using credit card. Hot shower!
No free breakfast, but super markets pretty close by.
Great wifi, friendly staff, very clean, great location
location, facilities, service, free wifi, price
The wall of the room has crack.
Nice staff Close to the Brussels Nord station
Price was low
First Room which they have given has Broken Window, then they replace it with Room on the Roof ,which has very low ceiling and Outside bathroom.Door lock was not proper
Not satisfactory. No room conditioning, if you open the window, it seems that you are sleeping in the tram (too noisy). A plug is coming out from the wall, no hooks anywhere even in the bathroom for towels. No hangers in the wardrobe. Destroyed remote control of TV. I would never recomend to stay in this hotel.
Great location and very cheap price. I was checked in at 12 pm.
Too much noise from the neighboring house - the old house was broken and Machines are digging a pit for a new house from 8-9 am till evening. But if you wake up at early time it is not the problem.
the wi fi was free!
the hotel is actually in the red light district of Brussels and as a solo female traveller, it was not safe. There was also demotion of the building next door taking place. I couldn't change my room which was right next door to the demolition works therefore extremely noisy and work started at 6.30am!! no tea or coffee making facilities and no bar or restaurant available! Will definitely be complaining officially when I return to the UK.
It was a clean serviced apartment type room (without cutlery or cooking utensils). Friendly staff at reception (helped make us a dinner reservation). Rooms cleaned daily. Tram stop is up the road to get near the city centre quicker.
It is near the red light district of Brussels, but we didn't encounter any problems and you don't walk through there into the city centre
Everything was great. I rented a single room and they gave me a room with 2 double beds.
It's close to Brussel North Station. That area is bit unsafe for a lady to walk around at night. And it's noisy impacted by traffics on the road.
Generally, good accomodation for reasonable price.
If you stay in the rooms at the ground floor, close to the reception (rooms 3 and 4), you will probably hear everything what happens in the lobby - loud conversation and even quarrels at night (midnight or 5 am).Owner of the hotel should do something with it.
Did not look clean Hall was noisy for most of night
Simple, clean, practical, very good connection with public transport, very good value for money for Brussels. Very friendly staff. Since I have last been there, they have renovated the entrance area, which now houses a small lobby where you can have drinks & snacks and also have breakfast instead of the former underground breakfast room. (If there is no space, it will be served in the room). I realised they also have rooms with a kitchenette which I find very practical. Good free WLAN. They seem to be in the process of changing their name (outside it was still Aryan, on paper Arden), maybe having realised that it may sound strange.
It is evident that structure and equipment are old: some walls in bad need of painting, a plug coming out of the wall, the top of a showerhead coming off (could easily be put on again). Okay for me as it is hard to find anything in Brussels for that price. More than one coffee and one additional plate for breakfast would have improved the experience (instead of having croissant au chocolat on top of a slice of sausage).
The staff was polite and very helpful, the room and the bathroom was clean. They gave us new towels every day. The location of the aparthotel is quite good, for example you can reach the Atomium with the tram 93, which has a stop in front of the hotel. The city centre is about 15 minutes walk, but you can go with tram as well. The train station "Noord" is about 5-10 minutes walk.
Everything was just fine.
The lady at the reception took me to the trainstation because she thought taxi would have been too costly for me. +++++
