Apart Hotel Brussels Midi  

Egyszerű belső tér minden benne volt amit elvártam.

A hotel környéke kicsit ijesztő, parkolója nincs , messzebb van az állomás alatt parkoló végszükség esetére. A szoba árát az írásbeli ígéret ellenére a rendelés másnapján leemelték előre.

Viszonylag nagy tér, jó elosztás, berendezett konyha.Ár/érték aránya jó.

Nem volt 4 napig takarítás, nalamint a szálloda környezete nagyon lepukkant. Az internetes információ a foglalás/fizetéssel kapcsolatban hamis, foglaláskor azonnal lehúzták a hitelkártyáról előre az árat, annak ellenére, hogy nem így van feltüntetve.

The only thing worth mentioning about this hotel is the fair closeness to the Gare du Midi and the shuttle bus to Charleroi airport. Walking downtown would take about the same time as taking the tram, without the 1.80Euro ticket.

The area was rundown, not clean, did not look safe and was quite noisy due to heavy traffic. Room was noisy, due to heavy traffic and a continuous roar of a running engine. We stayed for 3 nights and there was no cleaning, changing towels or supplying with toilet paper. The room has no fridge. Staff was rude and impolite. I was asked imperatively to pay on the arrival for the whole stay, and when refused and only pay for first night, I was charged an extra 50Euros for key deposit although not mentioned in the hotel policy. The head of staff was even more distressing and contemptuous, for him a client is treated as a client after he pays. This can be used only as a transit hotel. This is not a 3* hotel.

We arrived there on Sunday (the 20th March) evening. The staff that was at the reception was a bit rude, not friendly at all. When we said we would like to pay by cash or laser, he said they did not accept laser and that he did not have any float to give us change, that we must have the exact amount if we wanted to pay by cash... We insisted saying that those were the only options we had to pay and he said he would check his wallet to see if he had change for us, and surprisingly he came from the back office with enough change!!! The mattress in the room was very bad and the pillows were very small and empty... The toilet was far away from the bathroom. The TV was not working. The area is very bad and scary, far away from the city center... And finally, the check out is strictly at 11am (the signs around the hotel says that we have to leave the room at 10:30am. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone!

The hotel is very close to Midi Station, 5 min walk. From Midi Station, you can take, train, metro, tram to go practically anywhere. The studios are very comfy and practical.

There was a very mean guy at the reception, caucasian, with glasses. I forgot to ask his name but he was really mean. Be careful with him since he might tell you things like 'you have to listen with your ears!!' and shows his ears while saying that! Can you imagine? :) Other than this mean guy at the reception, the hotel is perfect..

1. Relatively close to Brussels Midi station, but you still have to walk from train or metro station Midi about 10 minutes to the hotel, it looks quite close to the railway which is ture but not actually that close to the entrance of station. 2. Very big room, just like what the hotel advertised: "You'll immediately feel like home", and the room is clean and comfortable, big bed.

Travelling around Europe for business over 3 years, this is the worst hotel staff attitude I have even experienced, the reception is very impatient and obviously not in a good mood, I asked some question in a very normal way, polite enough I believe (I myself was in a good mood that cannot act like I'm angry), but after few questions, he was rising up his voice and become impatient, he even said "I can change my job for you, I can change my job for you, you don't have to yelling at me!", God, I was not yelling at all but just asking questions normally, anyway, I'll not stay or recommend any colleagues/friends to stay here anymore even the hotel facility is very good.

Close to railway station. Decent sized apartment.

Apartment hadn't been cleaned fully - the toliet and bathroom floor were dirty with no loo roll. Receptionist did his best but as this was an apartment complex he was the only staff member available. Apartments only work if there are no issues! Location isn't great but I knew that and it wouldn't have been an issue if I'd enjoyed the apartment more. My plan to have a bath went out the window very quickly.... The toliet doesn't have a sink... You have to wash your hands in the kitchenette which is a bit strange and I may considered this a quirk if the toliet had been clean. Dvd remote didn't work (the dvd was the main reason I was happy to stay in a not so nice area) I didn't try it until after 10 when the receptionist had gone off duty. The apartment had a very odd smell - very musty and rather unpleasant. It wasn't horribly dirty it was just not quite clean. The whole place seemed to need a good scrub and freshen. It could be be nice here I imagine, the apartments themselves are perfectly nice. I have rather high standards I admit (although a clean bathroom and loo roll should be standard) but for the price it didn't match up to expectations or with my previous experience of staying in other apartments.

Very friendly people and staff. We really liked the place.

Rooms should be cleaned everyday. It was hot and there was no air- conditioning system.

Frigos need gas, no phone in rooms, one appartment room too hot, no curtains

Near Brussels Midi station

If this is hotel, They don't change towel, clean and fix the room. If this is an apartment, there are no cooking facility or laundry. The Air- conditioning are very weak and can't be adjust. Talked to receipt, they said can't do anything. The window was locked because it is on the ground floor near to street. The room I stayed are very hot,

I stayed in a apartment which cost me 65euro. The room is quite large, also has enough facilities in kitchen. Rooms are clean and neat. Hotel locate near Brussels Midi station. Great quality with that price.

I met a man in reception, his English is not good, however, its not a big problem. I was there in late April, the room is quite hot, there is no air conditioner. It will be hard for anyone who use Window 7 in their laptop to connect wifi as they use WEP method. So it is my tip for anyone who use Win 7. Right click on the hotel wifi signal, chose status -> wireless properties. Choose tab security. In Security type option, choose Shared, then type password in box Network security key. It would be fine.

I stayed in an apartment and like to stay in an apartment instead of in a hotel room. It is very family friendly and good for people who wants to prepare their own meals and have some privacy
