this hotel is one of the quietest hotels that i have ever stayed in. the interconnecting family room was perfect for us. it turned it into what was basically a two bedroom, two bathroom. great facility, clean and modern. it was also only 10m away from underground garage parking, which is a huge benefit when arriving by car. it's also only around 100m from the metro station, a grocery store, and tons of other shopping. the location being close to the metro opens up the opportunity to explore brussels quickly and easily. we loved this hotel.
the ONLY thing i would like to have been different was the pillow. if that small detail is the only negative i have, it should tell you how much my family enjoyed this hotel!
Window shutters Rain shower head Close to metro stop and Louisa street
Smell of paint in hall was nauseating Room was cramped when a triple was reserved, couldn't move around...or access the desk/fridge Area/entrance a little shady
unique building design, good location, comfortable bed, very helpful staff, printer available for client use
the bathtub wasn't clean, breakfast could have offered a better choice
Breakfast was really nice. Good shower, decoration is good, air conditioner life saver in the summer. Bedroom was confortable
The rooms very small, they had no view and were located in the minus one level.
It was neat and clean. Staff was cooperative and location very convenient. We enjoyed our stay
I ordered gluten free for breakfast, but this did not get through to the breakfast staff. They offered rise cakes. These are not edible. There is lots of gluten free bread to buy and it can be stored in the freezer. I do not mind bread from the freezer. The price of the hotel was too high to my opinion.
The room was very clean and the staff is very kind. Also, breakfast was good.
All if thing very good
Location and staffs
Internet,, poor WIFE internet connection
The modern bathroom designed very nicely and rationally. Comfortable bed and clean sheets. Very quiet! Very good breakfast.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is quite good!
WiFi signal was very week in our room.
Friendly and efficient staff kettle with tea and coffee electric curtains wifi clean next to the metro & the shops 15mn walk to the European Commission room available earlier as requested no noise
ease of checking in and out; ability to turn up late with no problems
blue light in light well outside room; bed too short; room light coming on at 1 am for no discernible reason
Great location, clean hotel and friendly staff.
Stain on the carpet in the room No hot water in the morning! Fitness equipment
The hotel has beautiful design, is modern and has very friendly staff. Also it's located in a nice area. Breakfast staff also very friendly, and good price-quality ratio for Brussels.
Wifi doesn't work in every room, and the design is sometimes not very handy (e.g. hardly any place to put your toothbrush etc besides the sink) and the main switch for warm water was sometimes switched-off in my past stays (which took some time to find out how to switch it on).
Design and general feel of the hotel. Staff was very welcoming and helpful.
Bathroom cleanliness was not the best (inducing doubt towards the general cleanliness) Tired corridors to the rooms quality of the room's doors (phonic insulation)
Modern hotel, extremely conveniently situated, close to Porte de Namur metro and easy walking distance to European Institutions, Avenue Louise or to Grand Place. Rooms are small but very smart with excellent beds, TV and safe. Tea and coffee in the room is a welcome convenience, unusual for Brussels. Continental breakfast is good, if a little lacking in variety, day to day. Staff are friendly, polite and helpful.
200m up a back street, so approach can be a little foreboding late at night. Hotel has no bar.
There was only hot water in the shower, so I had to change the room. The other room fortunately had both hot and cold water but the shower door was broken. Overall the hotel facilities are not well thought through, and it's definitely not a trendy design hotel as you might expect judging by the pictures.
Good location, breakfast, art installation in the lobby. Interesting layout. Everything is white.
They no longer provide parking vouchers. Many minor things are broken (light switches, bathroom fixtures, etc).
Cleanliness was terrible. The glasses in the room are washed in the sink in the toilet -- they do not go down to the kitchen to be washed in high heat dishwashers. The cleaning lady was wearing the same gloves she used to clean the bathroom. In fact she wiped down the toilet first and then she used teh same cloth to clean the sink and the counter where people may put their tooth brushes. It was terrible!
Style, furnitures, location
When booking I asked for a room with good internet connection. This was not the case in my room 112, neither the wireless nor the cabled network were OK. Strength of WL was very poor and it was not stable. Even after intervention of hotelpersonnel the situation di not change. I had to do some urgent activities in the web and this caused unnecessary and unforeseen delay and disturbance. When hotel claim, as they do on the website: “Free Wi-Fi Connection throughout the hotel (also in the rooms )” they should be able to deliver what claimed, meaning not only WL is there, but it functions properly. Next time I’ll think more than twice before booking again in the hotel and I will transfer my unsatisfaction to colleagues who will ask my advice for good hotels in Brussels.
Modern, spacious rooms, great buffet breakfast, great location
Glass door to the bathroom is noisy and despite being very modern, offers no intimacy
