Quiet, clean, sensibly priced, breakfast good.
My single room was clean and comfortable. Nice and quiet. The dining room is spacious, and breakfasts offer a good variety. All staff I interacted with were courteous and very quick to take care of me. Argus Hotel made my visit all the better!
A minor issue was that wifi would often cut out. But on the plus side, when wifi stopped working one evening, the staff quickly checked the problem and got it resolved.
Location perfect, friendly staff. Interesting old building.... Breakfast OK
Very noisy workers from 7 am to 7 pm all around the building. Expensive (but maybe that's Brussels and not only this hotel...)
Very good location. Clean room. Good breakfast. Helpful staff.
Wifi was worst, i had to sign in after every 2 mins. Dryer was not working
I like the location from downtown
1. Price too high for such a small room 2. Water and Ice not available 3. Room too hot air condition not working properly. We were bitten by mosquitoes because we had to open the windows to get air from outside
Silence : because in the centre of brussels
No extra services and mini bar.
Convenient location. Nice breakfast. Parking facilities.
Rather small room.
staff was nice
Staff were friendly and the hotel offered all necessary and relevant things for those traveling on a budget.
There was nothing negative about our staying at Argus hotel. Maybe the only small thing was the pillows which are not firm.
reasonably close to main attractions, very helpful and careful staff, good standard of Wifi and good fridge.
Wasn't a plug in the bath and basin, door key was erratic
The location was a convenient walk from the Old/Lower Town, the major art museums, some Art Nouveau architecture, and a number of good restaurants that the local people frequent. The room was quite comfortable, even as a triple and there was a small refrigerator in it. Breakfast was very good and complete (meat, cheese, eggs, yogurt, fruit, pastry, bread, juice and good/strong/hot coffee) that was served in an attractive dining area. All staff were friendly, efficient and helpful.
The configuration of the stairs was a bit peculiar, with extra ups and downs while remaining on the same floor.
The location was the best part of the experience, staff were warm and helpful with information, the breakfast was good. The bed was very comfortable. The room no 16 was quite appropriate for a family with older children. Altogether a good experience would go back again.
The towels are very light/thin, the toilet had no extractor fan, was a bit noisy during the day due to the building construction work going just infront of our room window and the wifi was eclectic
The location is perfect, near to public transport possibilities.
Sometimes the wifi is very slow
Near to Metro (Louise) Near to Shopping Centre
Room is too small
The wifi in my room didn't work - perhaps this room was a long way from the host station. I then had to pay for the 'Fon' network, and, after I'd paid, that didn't work either. The price was absolutely outrageous €199 for one night. Absurd.
the bed was very confortable
The location is excellent in the beginning of a calm & nice street just between metro stations Louise and Toison D'or. The breakfast is very good to a Belgian standard and the staff is friendly. Our room was airconditioned and there was a small fridge, which was practical. We'll book in Argus for the next visit, too.
The elevator is really tiny, for us it was fine - with one piece of luggage at a time - but don't try with a wheelchair or baby stroller. There is a big construction site in the quarter next to the hotel and some of the windows point to the site. However, during the weekend there was no noise problem.
Cleanliness, Wifi and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast too was good.
The room size was small for 2 people.
Hotel is 20 minute walk from Grand Place, there are different routes as well to mix it up each day. Recommend walking past the Palais de Justice and sticking your head in, the building is fantastic as are the statues. Wifi worked well though it kept making us sign in. The car park is a nearby multistory, you take the ticket to reception and they give you a voucher to "pay" for it.
They didn't have our amended booking (despite confirmation via both booking.com and staff at the hotel). The air conditioning also broke in one of the rooms meaning two guests had to move into two single rooms rather than the twin we had booked - this was sorted out quickly.
Nice staff. Location was good for me.
Room in the basement. No real windows. Poor breakfast.
room / services
Quite noise-y with people coming and going and room near lift. Room a bit tatty - carpet threads and hole in bedsheet
So friendly staff, excellent value for money, very good location, good room size, very good breakfast with good service.
The towels in the bathroom are cheap quality and some of it are outworn and weak wifi.
