Perfect location if you want to see grand place and just walk around the city center. Just 5 mins away from brussels central station.
Some of the staff were a bit rude and unhelpful (the lady at the reception in the morning was very helpful though). No kettle in room.
Nice big room with confortable bed. Just a few steps away from Grand Place.
Windows could be made of beter quality to keep the noise outside the room.
The beds contributed to major back pain for both of us
Location was excellent
Wifi was average - kept having to re login
it is very bad hotel, will not recommand to any one for select
A great location and lots of places to eat nearby.
A bit noisy.
The location was perfect - near to Grand Place, Manneken Pis, Central Station, restaurants, shopping, etc Room was very clean, and well maintained.
No breakfast included. No kettle in room, very troublesome for family with an infant like us.
Location. Room size good. Comfortable beds
Very noisy. Room facing onto main street. Windows not double glazed and street noise very loud.
Location was excellent. Good Value for money
Could be a bit noisy at night, but that is to be expected because of the location
Great location (in front of the Grand Place)!
Wifi Room Staff
location is excelent in the hart of brussel 50mts away from The Grand Place you cant go wrong on locaion in brussel cleanliness is very good , nice rooms , my view from window sucked because they gave me a back room and no other rooms available at that time . wifi free on rooms and good conection staff was very nice , Irene at the desk from spain was very helpfull
the view from my room since I got room in the back of hotel but if you get a front room it will be nice to a little street
- The location is excellent, only a block away from the main square - Our bedroom was on the end of the hallway and we had a very nice view of the street below, which is very nice and always has street performers, whose music we could even hear from our room, which is a plus - The staff is very attentive, they were very welcoming to allow us to leave our luggage when we arrived early and when we departed late - Very spatious room and a very spatious bathroom - Nice, large LCD TV
- The shower in the bathtub. The bathtub faucets are in the middle of the side to the wall, but the showerhead is in one of the ends of the tub, so the hose from the faucets to the heads dangles uncomfortably next to your legs, as it makes its way to the hanging piece in the wall. It's uncomfortable to manage. Also, the power of the water was difficult to manage, since it never stopped pouring from the tub filling head, so you had to put it to full power so that something came out of the showerhead - It may sound stupid, but our bathroom didn't have a place to hang the hand towel - The hotel says that they have wifi in all the rooms, but it doesn't even reach the third floor (out of 5). Nevertheless, there is a public wifi that allows you 4 hours of free connection once you register (for free) and, in the event that you use your hours, you can register again free of charge. So, there is wifi in the rooms, just not the one from the hotel - We didn't get the hotel's breakfast, it was around 7 or 8 euros. - The pillows were too puffy and stiff.
Great location, very friendly and helpful staff.
It's next to the Grand Place, so it's a little bit noisy.
We were lucky enough to have the top level room so try to request it! Spectacular views from our room. Everything is 30 seconds from the hotel, even the central square.
Morning staff member was quite rude and unfriendly. Also didn't allow us to check in 20 minutes before the official 3pm check in time. Evening staff were lovely.
The location was central making it easy to get around it was clean staff friendly room to store luggage on check out day
NO TEA/COFFEE making facility in the rooms...that is so important nowadays For 12 Euros the selection for breakfast was poor and not enough...kept running out of stock! ( yogurts , tea selection ) unfortunately very noisy due to party people walking down the street ( not your fault)
The location was good, just a few steps away from the Grand Place.
Breakfast was expensive and yet they served the same thing everyday. A/C was inadequate - it felt like they were turning it off early in the morning so you ended up waking up all sweaty and you couldn't open the window as it was really noisy beneath our room (RM 101). There were no hooks in the bathroom for towels. Check out was way too early at 11 am and yet check in isn't until 3 pm. There is free WiFi but only 1 device per room can connect to it which was ridiculous as there was two of us booked at the hotel.
The location-value for money-staff will definitely come back again.
breakfast is too expensive a bit tricky at first to open the room
The location is right behind the Grand Place, which is great. We were at the 3rd floor and the view was wonderful. The area is full of restaurants and shops.
The furniture is a bit old and would need a renovation. Especially the door lock system that I've never seen before in my life and is not working properly. We tried to open the door for at least 10 mins every night!! Considering the price, they could improve the window isolation. The air was passing through the window and so the sounds and noise of drunk people during the night. Also the garbage truck seems not to stop from 5 to 8am with horrible noises. We didn't have any socket around the bed and this could be pretty annoying. The security box was out of order.
Everything is OK. Perfect location between central station and the city center.
The "like home" atmosphere
I wish there was a small refrigerator in the room. It's a need, especially in the summertime.
very kind and professional staff
Extremely central location and a very good value for money when booking via booking.com. However, I would never have paid the regular prices that were listed in the reception (almost 3 times as much).
AC didn't work so well, but I assume that the system was doing its best at this very hot day (33+). Friendly, but a bit slow staff.
The location of the hotel was just in the middle of the city, one street behind the Grand Place. However, if your flight departure is from the Charleroi, first you need to go to Midi train station to take the shuttle bus. For this, you can use the tram. Apart from the staff very helpful for giving the directions. They were very kind. Hotel room was very clean, the bedding stuff was very clean too.
Since the hotel is in the middle of the city, it can be very noisy during the night, till the morning. I was hearing drunk people shouting in the streets till the morning. However, it might depend on which room you will be staying in.
Location is fantastic - just next to Grand Place. Lots of places to eat and taste beer nearby. Our room was good, bed super comfortable, view from the tiny window was over the street, so we could open it and feel the city buzz at night or observe how the city wakes up in the morning. Still, it was quiet when the window was shut. We did not have breakfasts in this hotel, preferred to taste different types of waffles in the outside cafes. Would definitely recommend to stay here!
I've read about some yellow stain on the ceiling in one of the rooms, and we got that room) Actually, I did not care about it at all. The fact that this room had a view over the city was much more important, but still, would be good to pain the ceiling once again to make everyone happy.
