Good location close to city centre, main rail station (Gare du Midi) plus plenty of bars and places to eat. |

location, the fact that for a 'special price' I was given (for two nights out of three) an improper attic room, unfinished/rather improvised room with absolutely no emergency exit signs, hand written room numbers on the doors, rough floor, barely painted doors, separate, old, even falling apart closet/pieces of furniture (except for the bed and tv set), cables lying on the floor - without any explanation (like 'the hotel is full and it is only a temporary alternative') and only on my request to change it there was an apology form one staff who also offered me a proper room (though only for the one night left) |

Good position: the hotel is in the city centre, not far from gare du midi, and very close to Le Grand place. Service and breakfast were ok. The room was small and the bathroom a bit old.The interior design was old fashioned. |

close to midi station desk staff in the evening unhelpful, very few facilities (i.e. no outgoing telephone) and poor internet (you pay extra for internet and it doesn't work very well). |

Near of Grand Place. Though it was a convenient location, it looks as if quite dangerous. |

Cheap and close to the centre. Very outdated, but if you just need to sleep over, OK. |

The price. They added an extra electric heater without me having to ask for it. Probably they noticed that I had increased the thermostat of the available one. The shower curtain was not very clean. The rest of the room was clean. Many yogurts offered for breakfast had a use-by date in the past. Select this hotel if you care about your budget. |

Very helpful, relaxed, busy staff. Handy location, a couple of stops from Midi (Anneesens) - not made clear on any information. Good breakfast. Maintenance seems to have lagged behind. The bathrooms of rooms 23 and 33 had damage to the plasterwork; the balustrade to the balcony of one of the rooms, overlooking the street, had an antique charm in its decrepitude. These are quibbles but if it were me, I'd get it done, and bring maintenance up to the good standards of the whole hotel. |

My stay was OK. The TV in the room was probably the best bit and seemed to be the only thing that had been updated. The price was the main reason I stayed at Aristole, so taking that into account, it wasnt too bad. Was easy to walk into the centre of town as well as only being a 5 minute walk down to the midi train station. I can't be 100% sure, but I have a feeling the bed was just made and the sheets not changed. Also the hallways/lift/place as a whole just had a bit of a "dingy" feel about it. |

The room was clean. There was even a small bath. The staff were friendly. Very good for this price. Close to the city center (Grand Place, Bourse), Gare de Midi and Gare Central. Bathroom's ceiling needed redecoration (it seemed that it has leaked) and the ventilation was bad in my room. They did not replace the food and milk when it ran out. Hotel was close to the city center, but I didn't like the neighbourhood. |

The location is good, within a walkable distance to the city center near a nice square. My room was a bit small but enough for one person and fair for the price. Ventilation in my room was very bad, I had a very tiny window facing an internal staircase of another building plus my bathroom was totally steamed when somebody in another room was using his/her bathroom. Internet connection was expensive. |
