I like it in between midi station and city center where we can found most of brussel's main attraction
When using google map, the hotel seemed very close to Midi station which is not true or misleading
1- cooperation of staff 2- daily cleaning 3- safe place 4- highly accessible 5- sorrounded by lots of facilities, e.g. Super markets
1- internet connection is quite slow 2- cleaning is only onece a day, so if i was sleeping, my room will not be cleaned this day 3- next to the hotel, there is a coffee shop managed by impolite staff, i was subjected to daily oral harrasment
Excellent price, clean room. Friendly staff. Solid and basic breakfast. Reliable wi-fi.
Lighting failed briefly but repaired quickly. Late for breakfast on second day and tables weren't cleaned from earlier breakfasters.
everything is good; the best is location and 24-hour availability to check-in or out.
sometimes the street was noisy all through the night because of the vibrant venue.
FRIENDLY STAFF, EXCELLENT BREAKFAST SELECTION
wifi was weak
The hotel is only 10 minutes from the very center of Brussels, in the historical part of the city. On request, I was supplied with a cup and hot water at night and with an iron in the morning. There is some food for breakfast: just for six eur, you get tea/coffee, bread, pastry, ham&cheese, eggs, jam&honey, cornflakes&milk, and yogurt. Next, the two night guys: friendly, but only one of them speaks English.
The room: the Internet is very slow, the TV didn't work in my room (bad signal), and the mattress is very old and bad - very uncomfortable to sleep.
EXCELLENT location; good water pressure in the shower; excellent value for money
Americans accustomed to chain hotels will find the rooms too small and not well-furnished, well-decorated, or well-equipped (I'm familiar with European tourist hotels so I knew to expect this). The housekeeper seemed to have some personal drama going on and to be screaming constantly into her cellphone and at family members who showed up at the property.
Poor service, building looks like it's falling apart, shower barely worked, bed more like a barracks in a bunker.
Location which is near to the station(Midi) and to the city center.Lots of supermarkets near to the hotel.
The map(photocopy) from the hotel is not clear(not helpful). The value of money(it is expensive). No cattle inside the room(no tea or coffee).
Shower head not working. Looks like it is still under repairs. Electric plugs loose.
Value for money. No street noise, quiet clientele. Everything in room and bathroom functioned. Comfortable temperature. Slept well. Didn't have opportunity to sample the breakfast so cannot comment on food.
Decor a bit shabby and very little daylight via small window, half obscured by wardrobe.
Location, easy to get to the Eurostar (had an early train to catch), easy to get to the centre of town. Good value, perfectly comfortable for the money
It was fine, not at all luxurious, but at this level of price perfectly acceptable.
good location (between Brussels Midi station and the historical center)
not all staff speaks english
staff are the best
Lack of communication at reception, bathroom stunk so bad we didnt shower in there, bedding looked like it had come from the charity shop, beds hard as rocks.
Location is excellent and very near to tourist places. A lot of options for (budget as well as high end) places to have a meal or coffee. Very close to Zeeman Store where I got really nice winter clothing for my kids. Metro/Tram station is also nearby. For budget travelers Aristote offers the right choice
Air conditioning can be an issue. I had to open the window and it was perfect (this was end of October 2014).
Hotel was very affordable
hotel lacked cleanliness, but at least the bed sheets were clean. Expect the fire alarm to go off at 0600, because of poor ventilation in the kitchen. Also, a quest was smoking in the hallway which trigged the fire alarm. I wish I knew who the individual was so I could have thrown the individual at the window. Hotel needs to purchase new pillows and beds, because they were dirty and old.
Cleanliness of bath
FIRE ALARM SOUNDS EVERY NIGTH 2 or 3 TIMES!!! Therefore you can't sleep/rest. Rooms were not cleaned at all: foreign hairs in the sheets and fungus in bathrooms. Poor conditions of elements like the floor, sink, toilet, tub, among others. Also, there was a huge hole in the roof of the bathroom. I asked for a double bed and they gave me 2 beds: what is the point to offer something by booking if you can achieve it?
I only had one night. This is a very nice place to stay especially the location
Wifi not so good for streaming but fine for emails etc
MAINLY THE BED BUGS. ALSO DRUNK CLIENTS BANGING ON MY DOOR AT 3AM, NOISE, ETC
location clean room safe and secure
bathroom a little dated but generally clean. wifi kept losing connection
close to central atttractions
noisy in the morning
1) Fairly near the City Center. 2) Easy tram ride to Brussels Midi Train Station which leads to the airport. There is a tram stop 5 minutes away. 3) The lift although cramp, was a huge help.
1) Sometimes the front desk doesn't speak English so it's very hard to ask questions nor help. 2) Shower is tricky. Sometimes very hot, then turns very cold. 3) It is very dark in the hallways outside the lift and to the room. For some reason they leave the lights off or it doesn't work entirely. 4) There is a musty smell in the room. We had to open all the windows to breathe fresh air.
