fungus in the bathroom
Location is really good, close to center. Cheap price.
Pretty old furniture and hotel, not very comfortable bed. Wi-fi signal was not very good in room.
Very friendly staff, great location, perfect for a not expensive trip with friends
Nice, clean, affordable
Easy Access to points of attractions and city centre
The place was stuffy Electrical points looked dodgy Bed was not very comfirtable
Feeling not safe
the view, the room, the location
the absent of lifts
It is very closer to the tourist places. there are many bars and restaurants near the hostel.
Staff there are Really helpful and good listener!
The bed sheet and blanket makes me itchy whole night... Others fine
It is near center so it is easy to reach to some attractions of city.
The room is quite small with broken window and bad lock. The staff is not kindly to help tourists to solve problem related to travel. The toilet is not so clean.
The location of the room is great.
The wifi is using others' so it's a bit pity sometimes it gets too slow.
Staff friendly. Good location. Price reasonable.
Dirty, moldy bathrooms. Very small rooms. No space to walk round beds. Flat screen TVs but no controllers in 2 out of our 3 rooms. Dangerous electric switch in bathroom. No plug in sink. Overall feeling of grubbiness. Needs loads of TLC and refurbishment.
the hotel is very close to grand place and metro station. Room was small there was no enough day ligth. But the price was good. I mean very economic
They were not allowing me to pay the room with credit card. Even though I mentioned on Booking.com that i will pay with credit card. But when i insisted and said that i am a government representative, then the things changed. they force you to pay cash, if they succeed.
Very friendly staff, good location, clean rooms
Near to city center, friendly stall.
Very noisy in the morning from the corridors (doors are too close and closing loosely).
Location, staff, price
The hotel is in need of refurbishment and a thorough cleaning (e.g., of radiators and curtains).
You can get there by walking from the Central Station, metro station is right across the street, Sightseeing points are in the walking distance
As I got to know from locals, the neighborhood is quite dangerous especially for females. The advice I was given is "never use Anneessens metro station when after it gets dark". My money got stollen in metro station :(
dirty...... all the things are old and broken.
Staff solved the issue with payment processing very fast
Location is good, close to Gare de Midi-Zuid. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were basic but just what we needed for a weekends stay.
Wi-fi was very slow, often timing out before pages opened.
Staff and cleanliness
Rome area and facilities (cloths hangers, absence or non sufficiency of cleaning material (e.g.soap, shampo, shoes polishers)
the staff was not very helpful. They did not give any advise about the city. No a warming welcome
There were no redeeming features to this hotel. Don't understand why it is available for booking.
Mouldy bathroom, dirty bed and pillows and sheets..looked like they not been washed from previous use..(had bed bug bites all over body) Smell was disgusting. Have got pics but will not allow to upload. DO NOT STAY HERE!
It was a very very cold... and in the bed there were some bugs that bit us whole night!!!never come back there...
Well located close to the centre of Brussels. A cheaper option than other hotels in the area. Friendly staff (which is not always the case with hotels of this kind). Clean.
I thought I knew what I was getting myself into when I booked this, but I was still shocked at how run-down this place was! Even in dirt-cheap hostels I managed to have a proper warm shower with flowing water. Not in Aristote! The room had also other visible signs of wear-and-tear. It's not dirty mind you: There was room service every day, which was a nice bonus. But the building and the business are just so old and run-down. Oh, and of course don't even dare to watch or download something on your pc. The wireless is very very slow. If you are a tourist and spend all day out in the city and have as little to do with the hotel apart from sleeping, it's an ok option.
