Being in the old city and the convenience of walking to most everything.
The weekend was so busy and with a lot of activities and celebrations. It was a shame that the tagging is getting out of control. Lots of wonderful parks but a lot of damage and defacing of walls and statues.
We had a cozy and very quiet room on 6th floor with great view of quaint Brussels rooftops and cathedral. Breakfast room with nice selection of basic European breakfast on 7th floor was even better.
Cinema next door which we went to
Old fashioned & styled
They charged us for the doubly tax the city soon after arrival we paid cash and later charged my card is only 4.25 euros but it was not allowed
Lovely staff warm rooms location
Breakfast not brillliant
Excellent Central location, although the entrance was not obvious at first as it is located in a small shopping mall under some buildings in the old town. Good views at breakfast, but the breakfast wasn't up to much.
I purchased an executive room, which was located away from the others via a walkway to what must have been an annex (it's difficult to tell with the haphazard layout in the old town). The circulation area smelled damp, and it felt unfinished with the lift opening onto an empty landing at one point. The room had two high up small windows which opened onto extractor fans. I moved room with a little persuasion, but still paid in full PLUS an additional 'room tax'. Wifi didn't work, and the overall feel was too low budget. Colleagues stayed in the nearby Ibis and Novotel - I will next time.
Clean comfortable bed
Carpet showed severe signs of spillage. Room had been decorated but in a mediocre fashion. Lights around the wall mirrors did not work.
wi fi was not working - no safe box in the room
It is convenient to access from bruxell central staion. It takes 5 minuites on foot. It is located on a narrow road. It is not easy to find immedietly.
There is cinema next to this hotel. It is not quiet. The breakfast is not served enough vegetables and fruits. My room's floor was really noisy. other tourists spoke loudly and made a lot of noise.
Clean room, quiet location even if it's in the middle of pubs area, very good breakfast with good choices.
No fridge in the room. Strange noise of WC toilet when flushing.
Location Breakfast Cleanliness
Excellent location and great breakfast.
The breakfastroom is fantastic!
I lost the wifi Connection for nearly 26 hours.
Accommodations were large and clean. Very good location for walking to visit city.
Day we arrived was only day of the year that city is blocked off for Environment day, no vehicles were to be in city but since we had reservation we were allowed in to city once we found an entry street. Had to get police to allow us past road block.
location just near central station, grand palace.
Breakfast, Large room
The location is very convenient (200m from de Grand-Place, 500m from Bruxels Centraal) and during the day it is excellent. The problem is at night: there are many bars, which means the hotel is not recommended for light sleepers
Nice place closed to Grand Palace.
Have to take a little of time to find the holtel, but you can ask for the tourist center.
Location next to Grand Place
Noise from the streetduring the night. Couldn´t sleep. Breakfast was very simple. The room was big but not fresh.
Location. Very central. Close to Grand Place, restaurants & metro station. Old but quaint. Breakfast room adequate and functional. Room clean & daily housekeeping very satisfactory. Price most acceptable considering great location. Most staff we engaged were helpful and obliging. A little more friendliness would have been appreciated. Overall, not a disappointing experience. Because of location, we would recommend to friends & relatives but advise them of limitations.
Although breakfast was enjoyable, a wider variety and selection of options would have been tremendous, even if the price for this service was an additional charge. Bathroom was difficult to negotiate and very small, although clean and serviceable. Because of Hotel location, Taxis could not provide clients with an entrance door service. This meant we had to drag our luggage over rough cobblestone terrain for quite some distance on arrival and departure. Had this inconvenience been noted at the time of our booking, we probably would have chosen another hotel where this simple and expected service could be accessed.
Thanks for the accommodation. It was a fantastic stay. Hope to see you again. Regards Keith.
Location is perfect, staff was very helpful
Nice and big room.
Room next to nosiy aircondition machine next to window.
The hotel is in the middle of Brussels centre which is closed for car entrance from 11am to 6am. The taxi will leave you very far from the hotel and you will need to go with all luggage through road blocks. Besides that, it is close to too different restaurants and sightseeing.
- Central position. - Grand Place around the corner - Close to Metro stations - Close to train station - Wonderful view from the breakfast room (7th floor) - Close to restaurants - In the pedestrian area
- Like most Hotels downtown Brussels, it's a bit worn-out. Some re-painting, new carpets in the aisle, ... would be beneficial. - The rooms facing the street can be very noisy at night, due to the many people having fun in the district. - The price is too high for what you get, in general. But this is the standard in downtown Brussels.
