The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The staff was polite and friendly. The location was hard to find, as it is in the middle of a poorly lit industrial area. Bookings.com says free parking and free in-room wifi. The parking was 9 euro/ night. Although the front desk assured us the wifi should have worked in our room, it worked in the lobby, but not in our room. Our reservation notes said we needed a small bed for a 4 yr. old child. When we checked-in, they apologized for missing that detail. They provided a broken crib w/o bedding - which was too small and unsafe for a 4 yr old child - & told us this was all they had, but they would send someone to fix the crib. We called 3 times and finally a man came to try to fix the crib, and gave us a box of delicious Belgian chocolates - and more apologies. He couldn't fix it & went to get an extra bed. A half hour or so later, he arrived with the bed, and more apologies, adding they did their best. The description says "a stylish bathroom". The bathroom was far less than expected - molded plastic integrated sink and shower stall - with a folding plastic door! You can't even close the door - it just has magnets to sort of keep it shut IF you line it up perfectly! We happen to prefer the cool night air to air conditioning, so we sleep with the window open. We were in a no smoking room. But during the staff's break, they smoked and talked outside, below our room. With the window open -- we heard them late into the night, and of course their smoke drifted into our room.

I was alarmed at the reports I read after booking a one night stay at this hotel. However, for those who are about to, please dont feel troubled as it was far better than many I have stayed at. It is a three star hotel and the food is very expensive so we did not eat in. However, the prices here are better than the options in the city of Bruges with food costing a fortune and shops selling things we could buy in England for £5.00 costing £20. Bruges is dirty and the town smells of dirty drains. Never again. The hotel is way out of town and is more of a reps overnight hotel than a holiday hotel. Plenty of parking at 9 Euro per night but with no security at all. Yet another Bruges rip off. We only paid 69 euro for a double room on a last minut offer and that is what its worth. Barry Lawlor England (Stayed 6th Junen 2011) It was on a deal with 100 euro reduction to 69euro. Good value on deal but not at the full price

I liked the price and the service at front desk. Too far, rooms where not very clean (had spider webs in the ceiling), walls were dirty, beds not comfortable and bathroom could have been cleaner. The building is not well maintained and so are the rooms. In my opinion is doesn't deserve to be a 4 star hotel. In pictures it looks great but is not.

Everything at this location was wonderful, especially the staff. They were extremely helpful with directions, suggestions for activities, etc. The only suggestion that I would have is to provide in room coffee service. I would definitely recommend this location to others.

Clean, bright room. Friendly staff who were very helpful. Although it's a good price, the hotel is a good 40 min walk from the centre. There is a bus but it stops returning from the centre of Bruges at 8pm.

Friendly, amenable staff. Comfortable, clean rooms. Location - a bit far to wander into town at this time of year and up to €12 for a single taxi fare (vouchers reducing this to €9 not always available) pricey. We also felt that car parking as an extra charge was a bit cheeky, as was a surcharge to upgrade from twin beds pushed together to a double for €15/night.

The staff were very helpful, the hotel had plenty of areas to have a quiet sit down and relax, or very modern bar area with food served until 11pm, The beds were very ucomofrtable, hence having just a mattress with a topper on it, the room was very small and cramped, hence me and my husband were in each others way, especially as im not very mobile and needed bit room,,,this room was said to have tea making facilities and was reconfirmed on phone later, turned out it didnt and couldnt get a drink either very late, the bathroom has no ventilation and gets very wet and slippery, hence I had a bad slip while there, also any clothng you leave in there while using gets soaked due to amount steam etc. also the view was awful we looked at other windows and huge old brick building, I felt for what we were offered it was overpriced id have paid more for the facilities to make us more comofrtable.

I am not sure what is used to clean the sheets/room but my son had an allergic reaction while staying in the room. We have lived in Europe for 5 years and never had this happen. The staff was nice about giving directions, upgrading our room, etc.

Nice bar area with fire. Friendly barman. Good wifi in lobby. Instead of a mattress it was some kind of stuffed plastic sheet on top of the bed frame that moved around at night. Breakfast expensive as not part of room rate.
