During my 2-night stay in early January the restaurant had only one set menu for the first evening, and the following evening there was a very limited offering. I did not see any restaurants within walking distance.
The bathroom lights are on a timer; if you close the door and take a shower, the lights will go out and it is pitch black in there. Waving my arms didn't work well, the sensor seems to be aimed at the bathroom door. They say there is a bathtub safety mat in the closet, but there was not one in mine and the tub is especially slippery and narrow.
Great parking for drivers at the hotel. It is about a 10 minute drive into town, where parking at the 'T Zand underground parking is available. Note that most of the "pavillions" where you come out at the sidewalk have payment machines that ONLY take credit cards. Just one takes cash. The desk will give you a map when you check in. The nearest bus to town is about a 700 meter walk from the hotel.
It is a modern building and the facilities are well kept. Breakfast was a nice buffet but not exceptional.
Sunday in Brugge was a sea of humanity. Way too many people, sidewalks were jammed. Parking lot had 5 open spaces. Monday was much nicer, with plenty of room to walk and enjoy the town.
