This 4-star hotel is a 5 minute walk from the diamond quarter and the Keyserlei and Meir shopping districts.
Score from 1171 reviews Very good
In a registered historic building right in central Antwerp and next to De Meir Shopping Street, Hilton Antwerp Old Town overlooks the Groenplaats Square.
Score from 1729 reviews Very good
Spacious room, good facilities, and overall what you would expect from a hotel in such level.
but... small details like relatively poor shower, hot water fluctuating from too hot to too cold, this is something I mostly hate in hotels...
Usual comfort levels .high standards
Prices especially breakfast Better and healthier local alternatives at fraction of price ... Bar and cafe prices too high but standard good
The staff was great the hotel was well kept
The gym area was dirty and parking very expensive
Location, restaurant was excellent.
Bar staff all chatting behind bar with each other not paying attention to clients who are trying to get their attention. They need to work the floor more.
Nice house directly opposite the beautiful central station
Breakfast Hall was too crowded
Great location for shops and getting around
Easy access from the station and good tram, bus and tube links to all the attractions. Also near the Zoo. Housekeeping was excellent and much appreciated.
In-house meal prices were easily beaten by nearby outlets.
1. indoor pool. 2. unbeatable location
1. wifi did not work in my tablet. 2. breakfast was far too expensive.
-the room was upgraded to a nicer one, with a great view and loads of extras e.g. nespresso machine -the spa -friendly stuff
Very good breakfast!
Nice rooms, great view, good breakfast, great area as shopping centers are near by, nice relaxing rooms with pool and fitness room. By the way, the Zoo near by was poor in my opinion. But the railway station is worth to be visited - simply phantastic architecture like a castle.
1. breakfast room like railway station 2. Worst: breakfast ends to the minute 10.30 or 11.00 am, very unfriendly for guest. 3. sometimes strange guests - not 5 star like, rather more a cheap hotel style. But maybe depending on New Year as big hotels need full houses 4. Parking area much too expensive
The hotel was in a perfect location for us, we have 2 young children and the visit to the zoo was just a 2 minute walk away and the aquarium was under the hotel! The indoor swimming pool was fantastic, although not very big it was perfect for the kids to play in and very warm!! The overall layout of the hotel was brilliant, the gym was well equipped, the breakfast was lovely (and plentiful!), the room (business class) was spacious and very comfortable and we had a wonderful view of the beautiful central station. The staff were very friendly and in general good... The walk from the hotel to Grote Markt was about 20 mins but it was a pleasant walk as it was mainly a pedestrian road full of restaurants and jewellery shops first and then clothes shops (mostly brand names)... We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend The Radisson Blu Astrid...
the fact when departing I asked for a taxi and was given vague directions to a taxi rank......surely at the room prices charged a phone call for a hotel collection wouldn't be too much to expect
The rooms were in good condition and cleaned very well every day. The location is excellent, as were the staff. On the day we used the leisure center it was very busy but it's probably not like that every day. The staff were very pleasant and helpful any time we talked to them.
€23 for breakfast and €27 for a prawn thai red curry is simply too much, and way out of line in comparison to Antwerp which is reasonable to dine out. For this reason we never used the facilities so cannot comment on food quality
rooms where super comfortable great beds great location close to train station and also great chinese restaurants would 100% stay here again
Location very good if you are traveling with kids - ZOO, Aquarium etc are near the hotel. Hotel has swimming pool and play area for kids in the bar.
Swimming pool are was dirty. Also in our room we have found under the table rubbish.
Bed, shower, service by staff was amazing!
The tv was not sensitive at all to the remote control, needed to press several times
Slow check out / check-in queues, nearly missed our long distance train due to the delay
Asked for a connecting room and got one. Thank you...
Our rooms weren't available at 14:00 and had to wait for about 30 min for the first one and a further hour more for the second one.
Great hotel near the centre
Parking is not cheap especially when you stay for multiple days. But, you are in the middle of Antwerp
Good location, close to downtown, but have in mind not all the surroundings are perfect for walks. Room is big enough, bed is comfy, there is good fitness and tiny swimming pool, two saunas.
Swimming pool is too tiny, meals at the restaurant are overprised.
ontbijt was prima de ligging is perfect sauna/infarood fitness
The room was lovely, comfortable, very clean and quiet. The bed was really comfortable. Good bathroom too with seperate bath and shower. Breakfast food selection excellent.
While the breakfast food selection was really good, the room was chaotic and far too overcrowed. It was loud and not at all what you want at breakfast time! It felt more like a school cantine with people rushing around bumping into each other. I wouldn't have breakfast there again. Despite the airco the room was very warm.
Everythibg, especially the breakfast
Large & Comfortable Rooms Kind staff
Spa (small, sauna and hammam took ages to heat up so we ended up just leaving) Breakfast was very busy and noisy
