Such charming staff and very spacious room
The hotel was quite amazing, everything was clean and the staff really helpful. The room was spacious and quiet. It had a large size television and could get The location was great with a fantastic view I really couldn't fault it.
The road outside was always busy and the pedestrian crossings never really seemed to make sense.
Great location, big room with huge bed. Could hear tv through the other room but great value for money.
- Excellent location at exactly the opposite of the train station - A very complete breakfast - Very friendly staff - Although not that big, a very nice room (was upgraded to business-class room)
- When its busy in the hotel you can expect to have to wait in line for breakfast - One of the elevators was out on a friday and it didnt get fixed in that weekend. Sometimes we had to wait 15 minutes for an elevator
Great location, very near the train station. Spacious and clean room.
The gym is superb and going straight trough to the brasserie makes the evening perfect
Breakfast too pricy. I would like some more small bites/fruit in the room/fridge so I can do without breakfast.
Location great. Staff friendly and excellent English.
Room far to dark. Little/no nature light. Room not cleaned until 2pm on first day. Wifi awkward to access each time. Ran out of two types of beer in the bar!
- carpet inside the room was not clean and in between the rooms in 5th floor as well. - noise coming from back of the hotel and there is drilling under the hotel. - very bad smile inside the path room.
Cold water in the swimming pool and non-function sauna
We booked this hotel a day in advance for a very good rate. Good bed and crisp linen. Great location close to restaurants etc. Parking in hotel car park - extra payment.
I liked everything.
All was great nice location nice accommodation only one issue I.E. parking.
Had to pay 25 euros for parking upon departure. Upon checking in to hotel I was informed that parking would be validated on my departure for free. Now I have no issue paying for something like parking. My only issue is the lack of training provided to the member of staff in question. Had this member of staff been trained correct he would have given me the correct information in regards to parking. Thus avoiding the unnecessary frustration on my part when I was handed a bill the following day. Had I been given the information correctly in regards to fees for parking I would have had no problem. But to be told you will not have to pay for your parking then receiving a bill was as you can imagine frustrating to say the least. Other than that great hotel great location
Best location Big room
A lot of light in morning even with closed cortins They never answer the phone on the reception or room service, you have to go down for help desk and if you need to eat is better to buy on the small market right on the corner! I personaly starved one night
I enjoyed everything about my stay
Room size Helpful staff Location
Great location , 2 minutes by foot from Antwerpen Central Station
Problems with elevator , problems to close the door of my room
Very good food in restaurant and for breakfast
Hotel in general is bit "shabby", some renovation needed. Usually you expect higher standarts of facilities from Radisson
hotel location cleanliness
staff availability room decoration
Staff excellent , patient and friendly; Very comfortable beds and good linen ; Very spacious and well designed bathroom : couldn't be better ; Good breakfast ; Quiet room ; Plenty of space ; Has a swimming pool .
Swimming pool a bit small and crowded Exterior of hotel belies how good it is inside .
Location Price Spacious rooms
Rooms look a little old and could use a refresh
Really convenient location, just right across the Antwerp main train station. Hotel staffs were really friendly and helpful. Good private and safe hotel parking but have to pay Euro 19 per day. Hotel is next to the small Chinatown, and near to many restaurants, fast food places, pubs, supermarket, diamond shops, and other shopping centres. Also in front of hotel is a busy stops for trams and buses. Under the hotel is metro stop; plus an Aquatopia where you can see aqua animals (but we didn't go because I don't like to see sea creatures trapped in large aquarium). Overall, it was a really nice place to stay for a city trip.
During our stay, the weather was very warm and humid. The air-conditioning system in our room was not working properly, and our bedroom was warmer than the outside air. Noted that the trash in the bathroom was not emptied.
Really nice hotel, second visit and will definetely come back when visiting Antwerp next time.
The personnels in the reception are extremely disrespectful, sarcastic and unpolite towards their clients. They are totally unfriendly and they made me feel so stupid and little...i've never been humiliated in my intire life like what the receptionist and the manager in radisson hotel did to me and my children. They even went extreme by calling the police and make me wake up my 3 kids at 3 o'clock in the morning while they watch us pack our things and hurrying us up to get out the hotel.! I admit that partly i was wrong of not making clear that i have 3 children with me instead of 2. But i was ready to pay extra for 1 more child, but instead of negotiating, they called the police and forced us to get out of the hotel at 3 in the morning with my 3 kids along with me, we were in the street, cold and have no idea where to go...my kids are crying coz they are tired and scared...as a mother and a human being, that was too much!!! I know that booking.com doesnt have anything to do with this, i am not blaming booking.com about what happened. But for RADISSON ASTRID ANTWERPEN, and STAFF....i will see u in COURT! The embarrassment that you made me feel and experience along with my kids are totally unhumaine.
