The place smelled of cigarette smoke everywhere. There is no elevator (it's a very old building) and the staircase is awfully creaky. The room was on the side of the street and it was noisy during the night. The fact that there is no reception and you have to call the owner every time you need something can be inconvenient. The price is too high for what you actually get.
Good location and wifi
Would have appreciated a hair drier!
The staff, Adem was very helpful. Thank you. If you need to stay close to the EU district, the location is very convenient (10min walk). The distance to the centre is also OK, you can actually walk or take bus (10min max by bus) and then it is just a short distance for walking. Kitchen was well equipped, wifi connection pretty fast.
The bed was comfortable but a bit small for two people, but I guess it depends on the preference :)
location is very bad for tourism, staff and everything ve didint like
Bathroom was very good.
Not enough light. The sofa covers were badly marked. Carpet on bedroom floor was dirty, especially on far side of the bed. The wooden stair rails, skirting boards and shelves behind bed were covered with weeks of dust and marked. Fridge was grubby inside and the cutlery tray had bits of food in it. I spent an hour cleaning after we arrived. Staircase carpet needed a good wash. Is it normal not to have any means of fire escape on the top floor?
Location perfect for a business trip. Comfortable and well equipped. Price-location best match.
the owner is a really neat guy, and the location is optimal - check out Place Jourdan and its Sunday market!
the old, rusty and *clogged* shower. poor kitchen equipment, and dished still dirty! (probably from the previous occupant). Wireless very weak. For 60 EUR/night (no breakfast), well, some more cleaning and a Wifi router wouldn't hurt.
Without elevator! Appointment to take your keys
Very good location, just opposite to the bus stop.Easy to find and check in-we simply call to the phone number- which we received with booking confirmation-(15 min.before arrival) and owner waiting for us.Very, very good Wi-Fi (we have 3 devises)Very helpful and responsive owner/staff.
Lights in the bathroom is made of sleep mode. The idea is if you forget the light on, it just self turns off.You need to turn off the switch, then wait 15 min. and then switch on again. The idea is good, but if you want take shower, more than 10 min or simply have constipation...Here come the fun part...We have lot a fun with the lights
Very conveniently located and managed by a very helpful person.
Very dirty bathroom, very worn sheets must change, the Romo fulleo of dust.
location is very close to Schuman. place is ok, equipped with kitchen and fridge
there is no reception, you have to get a code to open the door. place needs renovation inside.
The owner is a very nice person. The object is well located (close to EU institutions, restaurants, airport bus stop, 10 min. from metro station).
The location near place Jourdan where there are plenty of restaurants and proximity of transportation.
The apartment was dirty, no shower carpet, no shampoo, only a soap bar, the third bed was basically a bare bed with a 1 cm thin materass, no curtains, the shower cab was broken, one lamp in the (windowless) bathroom was broken and the light was turning off after 10 mins leaving in the dark. The person in charge (not located in the building) was very helpful but on a weekend you do not want to ask for everything. A fairly good facility but not professionally managed. I was testing since I'll have to go to Bxl every other weekend but it's a no go. Backpackers standard. Sorry.
conventient location in relation to EC district, quiet and clean quarter
It is rather difficult to find the facility as there is no marking in the street and even no information, or contact is available at the entrance door. I was asking the waitress in the neighbouring bar and she didn't know about the existence of the facility. I had room facing the internal yard with rather limited light and workers renovating the facade few metres apart from my room woke me up at 7:30
lack of window blinds. It was very light at night in the room...
not so easy to find as it is a flat in a normal tenement
Only 200 m from centre Albert Borchette where I had meetings and close to shops also.
There could have been a little bit more kitchen utensils, but I could improvise
Free transfer to airport early morning.
There is NO wi-fi in duplex.
Great location, great price. Adem is also an excellent host. Nice and always available when needed. Great value for the money (long- and short-term stay). Highly recommended.
Some of the rooms facing the street are a bit noisy at night, but that's the price of living close to the EU neighborhood. I personally didn't think this was an issue, though.
Far from metro
The Location was fantastic for my purpose. The room was very well equipped. and it was really clean.
Close to Eurpean Commission, cheap. nice neighbourhood, equipped kitchen
Dirty shower. Difficult to get into appartment - when I came at 8. p.m. there was no reception open and the house was closed . I called to a telephone number which was provided and there was only answering machine speaking in French. I have asked somebody passing by to help me, he called again and get connected. Since that everything worked fine... But it has been a quite stressfull experience for a non Frech speaking guest...
Decoration and flexibility of arrangements.
Noise coming from the construction right above our heads woke us up everymorning before 7am. Not the best conditions for rest, especially if you are on a business trip with very tight schedule. Unstable wifi, limited crockery.
it wasn't clean and there was no hot water for the first day
