Nice place to stay
Beautifuly place on the riverbank, ideal setting for a lazy weekend in the country side with friends. An ideal place for large famil gatherings and weddings. Nice decoration troughout the main house, good quality food Bistrot with outdoor seating.
The standard room was O.K. but a bit small and not quite reflecting the style and atmosphere of the rest of the house.
Staff courtesy Quiet location Proximity to Ghent
Tiny walls (just a little noisy) Wifi password had to be reinserted multiple times
We got a very big room in a separate house, no noise, private parcking and perfect surroundings. Good breakfast on river side view. We wanted a second night stay but unfortunately they were fully booked for a wedding party

Breath taking location for breakfast on the border of the Leie river. Friendly staff
2 seperate matrasses on the double beds No elevator
This was the second time we've used this hotel - so that must be some kind of recommendation! On this stay we were upgraded to a superior room in one of the annexes as there was a huge party watching Belgium play in the World Cup. The room was both comfortable and quiet. The staff were all very pleasant and breakfast is from a good quality and well stocked buffet.
Food in the restaurant was OK, but on the pricey side. Service in the restaurant was somewhat slow, but maybe that was due to staff being diverted to cater for the football watchers.
Could not sit out on riverside, it's reserved for private events only

Rooms are too small and uncomfortable
Excellent location, friendly staff and beautiful room with a view
beautiful quiet location, very friendly and helpful staff, very nice breakfast, had an amazing free upgrade
no lift, no wall decorations like pictures which made the room look a bit bland, but this is just personal preference
Room very comfortable, good breakfast included. Excellent location. Reception staff were helpful and pleasant.
Service was a little slow, but there were two functions going on so maybe this affrected it.
Food in bistro excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Quiet location.
Portion sizes in bistro very large.
Just stay here ... good price/quality proposition.
I liked the surrounding in nature, the food of the brasserie and the interior of the complex;<
I asked twice for a double bed, and received 2 single beds on wheels...wre did not sleep... Some elementary 4 star facilities are lacking in the rooms... The hotel is not to be recommended if you do not eat in their there restaurants. The standard of deluxe rooms are have received during my 2 stays were poorly installed...I am not planning to go back.
Great location, and price/quality value.
Only a bath, no shower.
the view, the kindness of the staf
het is te veel een conferntiehotel, te groot
Beautiful hotel by a river, extremely comfortable in a charming quiet location. Lovely walks, cycling and interesting art gallery Museum Dhondt- Dhaenens. So - culture, landscape and terrific food.
The hotel was lovely in a beautiful part of the countryside. The receiptionist was very welcoming and informative. The room was adequate for the price and the complimentary toiletries excellent.
The restaurant was extremely expensive - even though we knew it was Michelin starred. Finding anywhere else to eat locally on a Saturday evening was very difficult - everywhere was booked or shut (in August this is hard to imagine). Place we did find to eat didn't obviously want our custom and were quite unfriendly.
Attractive location beside the river with pleasant gardens. Good value accommodation and breakfast.
It has a high opinion of itself because of the Michelin-starred restaurant. However, we dined in the bistro and the service was very poor and the quality of the food decidedly ordinary.
The location was nice, along side the river. Staff were courteous.
There was no air conditioning in the hotel! A four star hotel and I was sweating all night. Couldn't sleep for one minute. I kept the windows open but even they were not helpful as it was an extremely warm day. You cant get away with charging 90 euros for a room in the countryside with no aircon!
