Auberge Saint Remacle    

Room was very clean and modern. Bathroom and shower were excellent. Staff were friendly and the location was brilliant.

Room became quite hot, even with the windows open.

The whole establishment was clean and tidy, the staff helpfull. The bedroom was on the second floor, had a view over the Museum and we could look at the rolling hills beyond. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy. The bar was old, welcoming, the dining room was tastefully furnished. There was a comprehensive menu, the food was very good. The continental brealfast included boiled eggs, ham and cheese..

Lodging was in annexe and a bit run down. We had problems getting the garage open to retrieve the bikes.

Very convenient for Spa race circuit. Clean refurbished room with excellent bathroom. Very quiet. Restaurant attractive with simple menu but excellent food. Nice atmosphere in bar and outside.

Staff a bit frosty, but probably there lack of english and our lack of Belguin/German.

The hotel suited us just fine. Perfectly positioned in the centre of Stavelot. Our four(?) bedded room was in the annexe to the rear so street noise was not a problem. Room was clean & basic, but adequate for our needs, with direct access to the lane to the rear. Access to and from the bar and restaurant was, however, via the kitchen. This was not a problem as the kitchen staff, like all the other staff, were friendly and cheerful. The patron kindly arranged for our motorcycles to be stored in his locked garage. The divided room had two single and one double bed, this was not clear when we booked but was not a problem as there were only three of us(blokes). We dined in the restaurant several times and it was very good! I would stay here again.

We were in room 2 in the main building and had a very pleasant stay, but room did not have a hair dryer or any tea or coffee making equipment or a long mirror. We felt for the price that breakfast should have been included. Food in the restaurant is excellent and well priced. Stavelot is a lovely town and is very convienient for Spa race circuit which is why we were there. Will book hotel again next time we go racing at Spa.

Small inn atmosphere, nice bar-restaurant on the ground floor. Newly renovated rooms, with top notch bathroom facilities. Suggest opting for the breakfast, very nice with fresh squeezed orange juice.

Auberge Saint Remacle was a pleasant surprise after reading some of the bad reports on various websites, we found the hotel very clean, the staff were very friendly without being intrusive. A basic above a bar hotel reflected in the reasonable prices charged.The breakfast served was more than adequate, fresh bread, crossants,tea or coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. I would happily book again and recommend it to anyone looking for a basic no frills place to stay and enjoy this wonderfull area of Belgium.

Het waren goede bedden en de douche was super. Eindelijk eentje met een goede straal water.

Kamers liggen boven een brasserie en hierdoor hoor je een klein beetje geluid vanuit de brasserie en van het terras. Maar het was niet storend. Wij boeken een volgende keer weer.

Excellent rapport qualité/prix du restaurant. Chambre très calme, très propre mais sobre. Les petits déjeuner sont extra, variés et copieux de même que la qualité des repas pris sur place.

Le store d'aucultation du vélux est à réviser ! Il fallait grimper 36 marches pour arriver à la chambre... L'écran TV est vraiment très petit et donc pas moyen de visionner du lit...

Centralt i stavelot. Tæt på spa banen. Relativ billigt i forhold til at der var løb. Alle aftaler holdt til mindste detalje. Venligt personale.

Accueil correct. Gentillesse et serviabilité du personnel. Carte resto variée et bien qté/prix. Petit déj.très bien et bravo pr.jus d'orange fruits frais! Chambre très propre.

Bediening was prima, we werden zowel in het Frans als in het Nederlands te woord gestaan. Keurig schoon badkamertje met toilet. Ontbijt keurig verzorgt.

De ruimte van de kamer, 2 1-persoonsbedden naast elkaar een tafeltje van 40 x 40 cm en de kamer was vol. Badkamertje was ruim genoeg, geen ruimte over.

La chambre 1 est située en haut de l'escalier d'accès et le bruit des marches et de la porte qui ferme en claquant vous empêche de dormir. D'autre part elle est situé au-dessus de la salle de restaurant et vous entendez les clients le soir et la mise en place des petits déjeuners très tôt le matin. A partir de 5h ce samedi ! Vous avez compris que si la chambre est jolie et confortable mieux vaut ne pas compter trop dormir si vous êtes comme moi sensible aux bruits.
