Hotel Cosy  

The view from the room was spectacular. The breakfast was tasty, and it was possible to have individually prepared omelets. The staff spoke English. And the directions for walking down to Boullon were clear. The man at reception volunteered to help us with our luggage.

We were on the top floor, and there were a lot of very narrow steps to navigate. We were only staying a night, so we didn't have much luggage, but a big bag would have been difficult. The hotel is in the process of building an elevator to go up the two flights of stairs from the street to the restaurant, and this will ultimately reduce the ease of access to the restaurant, but there are still a lot of additional steps to climb to reach the bedrooms. Also, when we mentioned that a light bulb needed replacing in one of the lamps in the room, we were told that the hotel belonged to the receptionist's father-in-law and he would ask him to replace it. This did not help us much! Also, there is handrail on only part of the many steps going from the hotel road to the town center. We took the steps when it was daylight, but we were wary of going up the steps in the dark. Walking up the hill on the road is much safer.

This is a family-run hotel in a charming town with the level of service and attentiveness one expects from a dedicated hotelier. The breakfast was comprehensive and the quiet location was ideal for relaxation. We chose the special Midieval dinner, and the main was perfectly delightful. Definitely an unique place to stay.

There were so many nests of dried flowers, silk flowers and bowls of potpouri, that, when combined with the taxidermy, made for a rather cluttered, unrestful, dusty sort of feeling. Our room (5) was dated, but comfortable and incredibly large. There was no shower in the (very large) bath, but this is regrettably normal for the area.

There was nothing we didn't like about the hotel; although loud music from a nearby event until nearly dawn was a bit of an irritant

excellent location, excellent breakfast, excellent service, excellent views over Bouillon, excellent room ........cannot ask for anything more

Good view from the hotel, even if our room was not on the right side. Nice breakfast! Good bathroom. Clean room.

We would have liked to have breakfast in the terrace, that was closed up to summer.

De naam zegt het eigenlijk al: het is er "Cosy". Je voelt je er meteen thuis je kunt er echt genieten van het prachtige uitzicht op het zeer charmante terrasje. We hadden een kamer met een eigen stijl van inrichting die ons zeer aansprak, ook de prachtige entourage van de rest van het hotel was naar onze smaak.Het is zeer zeker geen standaard hotel. We werden hartelijk ontvangen door de eigenaresse en kregen zelfs een kamer met een prachtig uitzicht op Bouillon.(Hoewel dat niet de kamer was die we geboekt hadden) We hebben er s'avonds heerlijk gegeten(zeer goede kok). Zeer zeker een aanrader.

La terrasses en façade de l'hotel avec vue sur le chateau. Très agréable d'y manger ou prendre un verre! La décoration des pièces à manger.

Das Hotel ist mit viel Liebe dekoriert. Die Zimmer sind individuell. Das Frühstück war eine angenehme Überraschung. Das Abendessen fand in einer angenehmen Atmosphäre statt und traf unseren Geschmack voll und ganz.

Mycket trevligt hotell som drivs av en familj. Smakfullt inredda rum speciellt de med utsikt mot byn Bouillon. Frukostbuffén har allt man kan önska. Vi förlängde vistelsen med en dag! Prisvärt

Un accueil sympa, une très jolie déco. Un super petit-déjeuner dans une cuisine ouverte sur la salle. Une omelette ou des crèpes à la demande ;-}

Vite que l'ascenseur soit réparé ;-}

Les planchers sont bruyants,ce qui n'est pas génial pour l'acoustique, Pas de clim et manque de place pour garer la voiture
