Bruges is a fantastic city/town. The hotel was adequate but a little bit tired and in need of tlc. Breakfast adequate and staff very helpful. Location excellent. A little bit tired but that did not deter from trip |

Loved the quiet location of the Azalea, also the olde world charm (dont stay here if you like clean lines and plastic) of the place.I found all the staff friendly and helpful especially the waiter at breakfast and the lovely barman.Great room with 6 foot wide and comfortable bed. We would definately stay here if or when we return to Bruges. |

Excellent small hotel in picturesque old house. Quiet location but still close to main centre and within 15 mins walk of station. Good breakfast in atmospheric dining room. |

The friendliness of the staff and the comfortable bedroom, breakfast and bar area. The quality of the breakfast was very good and the waiter was quick and attentive. They also had free wi-fi which was useful to us. The hotel was in a quiet area but was only about 100 metres to the shopping area/restaurants of Bruges, so 10/10 for location. The wallpaper and carpet in the room was a bit old and worn and needs replacing. |

The friendly welcome was wonderful and the hotel itself was absolutely beautiful, we thoroughly loved the feel of it and the location was perfect. We will definately stay there again. It's a shame there is nothing like it in the UK, and that's largely due to the excellence of the staff, which is sorely lacking in the UK these days. |

Central location very close to main shops, good selection for breakfast, very friendly and courteous staff. Good selection of tourist material Room would have benefited from redecoration and new carpet; safe did not work and leg kept falling off the occasional table! But benefits outweight these irritations |

Cheerful and courteous staff. Central location. Clean. Reasonably priced. Walking distance to all the beautiful places in and around Bruges. I enjoyed hiring a bike and cycling along canals, going to Damme and Sluis, in Holland. Also interested and horrified by the war remains near Ypres and Passchendale. A most varied and interesting holiday. |

The location is excellent, the breakfast good , a very attentive waiter. The smell of cigarette smoke in the Reception although we could not ever see anyone smoking I think it was still lingering from days gone by. |

The location was very good and our room on the back side it was quiet. The breakfasts, which was included in our rate was very nicely presented and tasty. The room we had was fine but in need of some updating, new carpet and a general sprucing up, except the bathroom which was recently renovated. |

Helpful and polite reception staff, exceptionally helpful and pleasant cleaning staff, clean and tidy, car park, bicycle storage facility, safe in room and great breakfasts. Very good location and really close to weekend market. Quiet street location away from the masses. Got stuck in the lift. Had to pay for car park. |

We would not recommend staying at this hotel as it does not offer the 4 star. The photos are misleading and we were presented with a dated, damp, lower than average room. Staff were unhelpful and rude. We found alternative accommodation. |

Close to the city center. Not far from the railway station. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially the night receptionist. Furniture and design in the common spaces reflect the atmosphere of past centuries. Swans lives under our window. Silent place with little terrace at the canal bench. Plenty of breakfast. Coffee and tea in the room. There was mosquito web on the window. We were given reduction card for museums and other places. Bathroom need urgent renovation. Bed uncomfortably soft. The electric cable of the water boiling set looked dangerous. |

The hotel is not 4 star, our room was falling to bits. Ask about the big hole in room 16 covered by some paper and masking tape. |
