Staff are fab. Guy is brilliant on the bar and the late shift. Shower was only downfall I'm room 4, terrible lol. Postion is brilliant for walking 10 mins into the centre. Definitely going back!!!!!
Shower in our room Room 4 It was terrible A fan would have been good too
very friendly bar man night porter
Very old fashioned but then a character hotel
Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, enough choice.
Hotel and the bedrooms we stayed in could do with decorating. The furniture also in the bedrooms needed updating and the room was in need of a clean. Bathroom was fine.
Used this hotel before, it is a bit hard to find, but it has parking and is OK for us. Not the plushest hotel in the world, but there are a lot worse in Bruges!

The building is OK, but will need renovating soon.
Staff friendliness, location
Trying to get to the hotel
Location was good and the staff were very friendly and pleasant.
Hotel is a bit tatty overall and needs a refurbishment. Paid a premium for a garden view but couldn't see much as the windows very small and low down in a dark room.
The staff were excellent all very friendly and helpful Breakfast was nice, good selection Bedroom and Bathroom sizes are good The hotel has a few parking spaces off road, which is really nice.
The bed quality wasn't that great. Pillows were to soft No AC Fan wasn't strong enough for the size of the room
We found the hotel ok. Plus points Breakfast tasty with choices Staff friendly and helpful Parking on hotel site although not free (€15 per night) Good location for walking around the sights. Comfortable bed. Points that need some attention No ventilation in our bathroom resulting in an unsightly and potentailly harmful mould Bathroom wall tile missing replaces with white plastic tape or something like that. Terrible stink in the room when you walk in the room which I am guessing also had to do with the ventilation problem. The whole hotel is in need of a makeover everything is looking a bit worn and with regardsto the carpets ( some stains, and wear and tear issues) Tips If you dont want to be woken up early in the morning ask for a room away from the parking area, otherwise you will hear all the sounds and voices associated with other travellers loading their cars in preparation for the next leg of their journey.

All the staffs are very kind and helpful. Very quiet although it is located in central of the town.
Car parking fees are a bit expensive.
Old world neighborhood. attractive entrance hall and ground floor. fantastic staff. cold items on bkt buffet fresh.
Room was VERY dated and musty smelling. Rather dirty as well - as in aged and very used. Sewer odors in the upper hall on arrival. Hot items on bkt buffet cold.
Location and some architectural features of the hotel
Bathroom needed good clean, especially around bath/shower. No evening meal available. Haven't slept under a sheet & prickly blanket for years. Most expensive of 6 hotels in recent tour & poorest value.
The staff were friendly, efficient and very helpful
Decor was tired and in need of a refurb.
Hotel just off the very city centre staff very helpful breakfast good, prompt service
Several health and safety issues step hidden in floorprinted carpet was easily overlooked by me, I fell and hurt my arm slightly. I was lucky as I could have broken it. Also had great difficulty getting out of the bath, there were no bars fitted as should have. Tourist tax @ 3 euros per day should be charged to the hotel, not to the visitor.
Staff we're very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were very nice. Location was excellent and could get to all places of interest easily and very nice to get back at night when weary and not wanting long trip.
Few sockets in room so problem finding one for kettle and mobile phone. Had to pull out furniture.
Location Parking(15 euros per day)
Hotel needs to be completely modernised, it was old dated and dirty. Carpets were threadbare. Both myself and my wife had at least a dozen insect bites each by the time we left. weather this was due to having to sleep with windows open as there were no fans or air con, or due to the grimy room i couldn't say.
Generally the Azalea Hotel in Bruges as good, although some areas could do with updating.Staff were helpful and welcoming. Lovely old building in a good location, but improving just a few things - style and décor of rooms, and outdoor/garden area - could make it even better. Loved the staircase!
Appreciate the age of the building, but the interior, particularly the décor of bedrooms, could be updated.
Friendly staff, nice location, quaint building full of character.
I should have gone for a room with aircon
- perfect location in the heart of bruges - awesome breakfast - cosy atmosphere & nice staff
General ambience is good and location is great. A quiet hotel close to the busy strip.
We stayed two years earlier and returned last month because of the location, character, friendly staff, comfortable rooms and great breakfast.
Hotel could use some updating without comprimising old world character.
Good location, friendly staff, parking possibility
Too expensive-overall no value for the money given, old and not very clean
Staff were brilliant, parking a breeze, hotel is nicely situated and so quaint. The lift is interesting! This hotel oozes style and panache, the high ceilings the creaky floors the position and charm are exactly why you come to Bruges. If some people can't see that and want to stay in their expensive business type places then why go to Bruges ?!
Ideal location, very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, secure parking
Its all a bit dated, the place is crying out for a refurb. Be aware if you go in hot weather there is no aircon.
