Everthing, it was like a home. Or b
Decor, friendly welcome from owner, breakfast at a time to suit you (before midday).
perfect position – close to all major attractions and with many good restaurants within walking distance; very comfortable accommodation; friendly staff
a touch tricky to find, but this is a minor quibble
Excellent service. More than ample breakfast including fresh bread, croissants, eggs ham, cheese.and condiments. Cereal and yoghurt. A great start to a day of touring. Exploring the owners gallery was a delight too.
Perfect location in the center of the city.A cosy and warm room with romantic character.Nice self service breakfast ,we felt like home! The owner mr Daniel was very servant and pleasant person!!
Nothing to say about
Very convenient to all tourist spots, such as a few minutes walk to Grande Place.Close to Central Station
Lack of bright light to use computer.
The rooms have character as the location itself. We stayed here twice now and for sure next time we'll stay here too.
we like all, very friendly owner Daniel, we had a possibility to cook our breakfast for ourselves at any morning time we wanted, may be somebody will not like it.
location is very good, in historical centre, but at night you can hear traffic anyway
The owners were lovely, very friendly and helpful. We were able to drop our bags off early, before check-in time, at their gallery. We stayed in Pacific, a room in the apartment just round the corner from the gallery. Our bed was comfy and big. Bathroom was stylish with a good shower. The self-service style breakfast was great, meaning we could do things at our own pace. Fresh breads were delivered to the kitchen before we were up. Ham, cheese, eggs and delicious jams were there for us to help ourselves to. The location was brilliant, ideal for walking to Grand Place and other Brussels attractions.
Some noise from the street woke us up one night but didn't last long.
A little bit noisy if you have a room towards the square - but that's the price for the very central location
Breakfast and location were excellent. Much to eat and comfortable / cozy environment. One can't beat the location as it is minutes to walk to Grand Place yet not in the midst of all of the crowds. Rooms and living space are large and decor is pleasant.
The pedestrian alley where the entrance is located has young folks loitering late at night drinking, smoking, and being somewhat noisy. If a high gate entrance could be placed at the end of the alley,...this would be great as it was a bit of a nuisance to have the window open and hear them at 2-4am.
The location was excellent. The room was comfortable, though there was a lot of street noise despite facing a little side street. The breakfast was oddly organized but the food and coffee were very good.
Street noise at night, two flights of steep, slanting stairs
the hospitality,t e confort, the location.. It was great !
The room and the kitchen facilities were excellent. We never had such a huge and comfortable room in the center of Europe before. It was nice to socialize with other guests at breakfast. The location is exceptionally good - right near the Grand Place and very close to the Central station from where we could travel to other Belgian cities.
Although the street looks quiet, it was somewhat noisy at night due to loud parties outside, perhaps due to the football world cup games. Anyway, we cannot blame owners and staff for this, they were very accommodating.
location idea to share livingroom with other guests kindness of hosts
Perfect location and I think one of the best and loveliest b&b's in europe. Love the warm welcome of the owners. Thanks
The location was convenient to walking to several attractions or restaurants. A small breakfast was included.
The room was very hot, and if you opened the windows to get some cooler air at night, it was very noisy. It was either be too hot to sleep or too noisy to sleep. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable.
Position and relaxed feel
very unique place
you have to take the fact second floor no elevatour
Could use air conditioning for the hotter months, but this is just a personal preference. We were there in mid-May, so it was fine without air conditioning.
Lovely building comfortable and spacious. Loved the self catering feel to it and happy with the quality of the breakfast and facilities.
The room and bathroom wax clean , but there needs to ba little more attention to detail with dusting.
1) localização excelente (poucos metros do Manneken pis, símbolo da cidade); 2) conforto dos quartos; 1) excellent location (just a few metres from the Manneken pis, symbol of the city); 2) room's confort;
The Hotel leaves much to be desired in the "facilities": first, there is a huge spiral staircase (two floors) and if you arrive with luggage will have serious problems; Second, the breakfast is of type "you can handle it!?"... You make the coffee in the machine; You heat the milk; You prepare the eggs, if you want to. Anyway, who spends her year working and wants holiday convenience, it might not be the best option. As for the team, "staff" isn't fixed, i.e. you are just received in initial. Finally, on the face of it, the cost-benefit ratio Gets a little impaired. Not regrets about having gone, however, another opportunity to pursue something with more facilities ...
We were just a few minutes from Grand Place and Central station but the area had a more relaxed suburban feel to it and was quiet at night. There were good restaurants on the square especially Duo et Saveurs. The room was large with an equally large bathroom and the decor interesting. The room and the kitchen were well equipped and the breakfast left out for us plentiful and everything was fresh each morning. The owner who was available each afternoon was helpful and friendly.
No complaints at all.
