Was easy to find from the botanique train station. Wifi singal was good. Comfortable bed. Very spacious room. Felt safe in and outside of the hostel. Hosts were helpful when we had somw troubles with the wifi password.
Was not super close to the city center. The bathroom flooded a little bit when we used the shower.
Located near to botanique station and minimart.
Cleaniness need to improve a little. Cobwebs at every corner.
- Good Wifi - Receptionist was friendly - Bus stop near by - Seemed like a sage neighborhood
- No lift (had to cary my suitcase up 6 flights of stairs!!) - Bathroom not the cleanest
Location was great. The room was clean.
Tax and Prices are a little bit high.
Car stolen from outside very noisy no breakfast as stated
It was awful. You better add some more money and find another place.
One member of staff was extremely kind and helpful over helping me find a cashpoint. The location is excellent. If you need somewhere cheap and convenient to stay in a very expensive city, then the Hotel Botanique may well be the place for you.
The bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in in the whole of my life. I may even have suffered an injury in trying to avoid the semi-exposed springs.
Comfy bed , good location, clean, nice staff
Correct sheets not used so fell off, no Internet , no hot water for showers
I like the staff who were kind and nice to talk to. The location is good as well as it was 5 minutes to bus stops to catch mu 272 or 358 to the airport. At lot shops around if given time to walk around. it was value for money. Guy from England
Cigarette smokers affected one of the room and the smell was all over the ground floor.
The location was quite good, so long as you're not bothered by a working-class, multiethnic neighborhood. It's within walking distance of the EU, Gare du Nord, and Tourist centers. The staff are trying hard but the deck is clearly stacked against them. And you can't beat the price.
The beds need to be replaced as the springs are protruding. The floorboards seem on the verge of giving way. Be prepared for lots of steep, narrow stairs. Light fixtures and bulbs need to be in working order. And while I was there they were transitioning between isps, so we had no wifi for five days.
I had a problem with reservation. Finaly I had to pay for two badrooms.
We had a very big room, with 5 beds and there was only two of us! Staff were very friendly.
Said they had wi-fi but upon arrival they didn't.
Personnel were really helpful and nice.
There was no shower gel.
basic room - not even curtains WLAN during the day with very low data rate, better in the evening
The pictures presented here when booking does not correspond to the room I've stayed. The actual room is a way worse, smaller and very used. The price is OK considering what you'd pay in a hotel, but the pictures could be more realistic.
- clean room; - good wi-fi; - excellent location; - cheap.
- horrible bathroom!
The staff are very nice and helpful. The room is spacious and cozy.
I do not recommend this hotel at all. First, it is located in an unfriendly neighbourhood and second, the whole hotel is disgusting. The corridors were smelly and they were so dark that we could not see where we had to put the key to open the door of our room. Then, we had a sink inside the room but it was lying on the floor broken, only one of the four lamps we had worked, and we could not sleep because of the uncomfortable bed and the noise from the street and the corridors. Hopefully, we did not need to use the blankets because they seemed they had not been cleaned for ages. The bathroom was shared and when somebody had a shower, the whole toilet became flooded. Moreover, it was so dirty that we did not dare to have a shower in there. We have been traveling around Europe and this is by far the worst hotel I have ever seen, it is not worth what you pay, at least I expected it was clean. The only good thing is we only stayed there for two nights.
Nice reception, ideally located. Comfortable and large rooms. Excellent value for money.
The room was significantly cleaner than I expected - spotless actually. It's close to the metro, though as a single woman I didn't feel particularly safe at night - I wouldn't have wanted to go any further down the road. The wifi was pretty good.
The shower was a water pipe coming out of the ceiling - that was it! No shower head, just the pipe end. The wardrobe had no coat hangers in it, rendering the hanging rail pointless. It is an incredibly noisy location (building works), and the whole place echoes - people tramping up and down the stairs, doors slamming, toilet flushing etc. The bed was somewhere between a camp bed and a pull out bed, where every single spring could be felt. The hallways were very dark/poorly lit, curtains in my room partly hanging off etc. In light of all the above, I was frankly surprised it was so clean. It's an absolute rip off price for what you're receiving. Fair enough if you're paying hostel prices, but at £305 for 2 nights it was a joke!
its some what near to metro, rooms are good size , shops are nearby
Toilet was out of order, one toilet for around 15 guests. no lift for 3 story building, no toiletries, no soap even, mattresses were uncomfortable , furniture broken, needs over haul and repairs urgently.
Location is the only thing for that place
The place is loud, smells musty and there was water leaking from the ceilung and there solution was just to put a bucket under it. I did not get a discount or any consideration due to this. Plus I accidentally left my phone there in my room when I left to london and when I reached someone they would not help me but said to call in the morning at which point the hotel phone was not working, and they had turned off my phone. I have emaled and no response to that either.
