Dirty, old and noisy! The Breakfast was just disgusting
1. it is ver near to the station , waking distance , every 10 minutes trains to air port . staff is nice , facilities is good
it was available!
The price and the breakfast and the WiFi
Carpets in hallways were filthy, but rooms were clean and very comfortable
Location next to main station and a 10 minute walk to the center. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Not a problem for me as I was with a small group of lads but hotel dated and in need of a refurbishment.
The only good thing is the location near Gare Midi.
The hotel is soo dirty and smelly.. the room was disgusting.. I couldnt sleep in the bed.. the sounds from the street and the neighborhood is very dangerous.. I dont recommend it at all especially for solo woman traveler..plus no toilet in z room, u get a key to the bathroom across the room!!!!! u pay little more (75 euros extra) and stay at Ibis (3 stars) and more clean and comfortable.
Very close to the Eurostar station. Cheap ;)
All looks a bit old, not 100% clean.
Very friendy helpful staff, excellent breakfast, lovrly hot showers, loads ofclean towels
Some of the other guests were a bit noisy
Staff very helpfull
complicated stair house
We arrive 12mid day and the owner was accommodation to check in us. And give us information and city map which is very helpful. The owner/ reception are very helpful and polite. Short break in budget price the hotel is ready good with free wifi as well.
Very close to major Brussels train station, cheaper online booking
lots of dust bunnies beside the bed.
I personally liked this place. The reviews put me off, but went with it anyways. We were backpacking so it was great being close to the train station. The guy put us in their nicer three person room which was clean and nice. Not amazing but for the price it was good. Didn't eat the breakfast so can't comment on that. Good WiFi.
It's a bit far from the city center. But not more than a 10 min walk. A little run down.
The location was excellent near the centre of Brussels, the Train Station, Public Transport and Taxi's
This Hotel is very basic which I would class as one star, not a two star
location near Gare du Midi - excellent
Friendly staff, it was overall acceptably clean. It was a nice stay for a 1-day-trip in Bruxelles.
The furniture style is stuck in the '80s.
Close to the train station Staff are nice
This area of town doesn't feel very safe. The hotel was pretty grimey, didn't seem very well cleaned or maintained. The shower head just sprayed water everywhere and kept falling off the hook.
Location Staff Value for money
This hotel needs a reconstruction! For most business trv. it could be a surprise how it look like... Blankets had holes from cigarettes etc...
Room was very good
Environment of hotel not too salubrious, but very near Brussels Midi station
Exellent staff and helpers.
On going renovations. Carpet very dirty, and not just because of renovations.
This is a two star hotel and if you do not expect five-star-hotel comfort, this hotel is a very reasonable choice in Brussels in that central area. The bed is very soft and comfortable, the sheets are clean and it has great proximity to city center (1 minute walk to Midi station, 20 mins walk to the center). Besides, the mid-aged guy at the reception is very kind, always smiling and immediately changed my room when I asked.
Hotel exterior and interior is highly old but if invested on the renovation, it would be as good (and as expensive) as the neighbouring hotels. The floor coverings carpet on the hallways are dirty and the walls are dampy. The furniture and curtains are old fashioned. Maybe the surrounding place (Bruxelles Zuid) is not the safest and cleanest place in Brussels but this is surely not the hotel's fault. Not much hotel accessories except soap, hair dryer and shampoo in the room (i.e. no safe deposit, bar/fridge, tea/coffee machine etc.) but this is neither a 4-5 star hotel nor they claim to be. If you don't spend your time that much in the room and if you are not that sensitive, this budget hotel would be a nice for you.
very over-used old furniture, broken window opener
1 min from Gare du Sud. 10 minutes by walk from Grand Place. Good connection everywhere by metro and train. Good breakfast. Clean and staff very helpful. Very close to Tintin's locations, where Hergé was inspired.
Location, close to train as a late night transit
Hotel a little tired in public area. Actual room was quite reasonable.
