The staff were friendly and helpful

The room was like a designer prison cell. It was not really suitable for twin share. The shower leaked onto the toilet floor making the 'shower room' very slippery.The consierge was unstaffed after 8.00pm. Noise from other rooms carried into ours. It was not 4 star hotel standard.

Interior

Reception closes at 20.00 and, more important, breakfast starts at 7.30 which is definitely too late and a reason not to return (unfortunately!)

The location in the city was very good, although the hotel misses its own parking

very cold, not finished, poor lightning, sheets were not clean, no room service, no information about hotel services in room.

Yes - the rooms are way too small and cold and not soundproofed at all! I know you are probably going for the minimalist look but you could paint the ceiling as looking up at a cold grey ceiling is not very appealing, Also you can hear every movement in other rooms above and beside you. this is not nice when you consider tht some ppl come in at all hours of the morning and you are asleep. There was a party on when we were there so we had to endure all the smokers in the smoking section chatting loudly, even with windows closed you could hear everything. When said to receptionist she was very much' Oh well.. we are full tonight so I cant switch rooms..' even though she could have as the other guests hadnt arrived yet.

I found the receptionist a very plesent person to deal with. The addition of a gas fire in the bedroom.

Not an enjoyable stay due to circumstances brought about by the standard of the hotel.

We liked interior design of the hotel and breakfast

We Were unprepared by the the hotel staff that the interior of the city was closed on weekends for cars and that there would be no on site staff after 6 pm.

Central city location.

The room was clean, but small. It is well located near the city center. It was ok for a one night stay.

The room was small. The shower/toilet room was bizarre - the toilet is in the shower stall, separated by a 1 meter wide floor to ceiling glass partition. The shower floor was flat and the drain was slow, so shower water would run into the toilet area and into the carpeted area as well - very poor design.

This hotel is for new aysy cold people, full of chemical odors, too simple ,uncomfortable and I never will go there again.

The location was brilliant - really easy to find and to get around. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. Loved the shower in the room!

we paid for the more expense room as it was advertised as having a balcony - but when we go there, no balcony. None of the rooms have balconies - some have french doors but that's it. Also at the time of booking it was advertised as having a roof terrace available for drinks - but again, still being built, so no roof terrace

The location is great, walking distance from many sights and in the heart of a lovely neighborhood with great shopping. The staff is very helpful.

The budget room was too small to swing a cat in.

Excellent central location in the heart of Antwerp, but also very quiet. Better than the photos on the web site suggest. My single room compact with a spacious ensuite. Great shower. Some may find the room small but I found it perfect with very contemporary features and a great view of the Cathedral. Nice touches to my stay eg lovely smelling soap and a small mineral water left each day in the room. Endless coffee and tea available in the lounge area which has an outside court yard. Fantastic and varied continental breakfast.Helpful and friendly staff. Would most certainly stay there again and will most certainly recommend the Banks hotel. For my stay the roof top garden was not yet available.

If you are air con reliant in summer please be aware that the room had a fan and an opening window but there was no air conditioning.
