The room was excellent, furnishings were of high quality. The en suite was equally nice with a very a good shower.
No bad experiences but it is an old building so it can get a bit loud.
Friendly and informative hosts, excellent breakfast with the best coffee we've experienced in a b&b for a long time. We would stay here again and recommend it to our friends.
The stairs are very steep which wasn't a problem for us but might be something travellers with limited mobility would need to consider.
Very helpful owners from the moment we arrived. Beautiful Bedroom with coffee machine. Lovely breakfast each morning
Koen & Nele were very welcoming and very helpful. The bedroom we stayed in was beautiful and large with a lovely en suite bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities are a must and they were there with a bonus of water and chocolates. If you are mobile this b & b is withiin easy walking distance of the town centre, eating places and train station. Continental breakfast good. We will definitely go back.
The stairs could be a problem if you are unsteady on your feet but it is a listed building and the owners have to conform with regulations.
Fantastic location only 5 mins walk from the main square. The owners (Nele and Koen) are really friendly, warm and welcoming as well as very knowledgeable when helping you find the best things to do in Bruges.
Nothing, everything was perfect!
We really enjoyed our stay. The B&B is in a quiet location yet very close to the centre of Bruges. Nele and Koen were very welcoming, helping us with restaurant recommendations and the key sights. Breakfast was great, with fresh bread, coffee, pastries, homemade jams etc plus the option of eggs if you wanted them. The room was very comfortable and they have done a great job of restoring the house. Also the bed was very comfortable. I'd definitely recommend this B&B.
We were very well received by the owners, who were very kind and friendly to us and gave all the necessary information, attractions and suggestions regarding Brugges. The BB Alice & Anais place is also very nice. Great spacious room, nicelly decorated. The location was also great, in a quiet part of the town and very near the center. We couldnt be happier with the stay and strongly recomend it!
Personnel are really friendly, helpful and welcome us well during our check in Big room, clean with nice decoration nice breakfast and fresh true orange juice Proximity to city center main spots within 10 mins walk I would recommand this place
no Television in the room
Would definitely recommend to anyone! 5 min walk to the city centre, free car parking available, huge and cozy decorated room. Historical building and very gezellig family that is taking care of it! :) loved it!!! Tea and coffee are available in the room :)
The owners are really helpful, welcoming and attentive, the en-suite rooms are enormous and full of character, breakfast is superb and the bed very comfortable. Everything is within easy walking distance yet is on a quiet road.
An old house with steep stairs and wouldn't suit anyone with mobility problems. Could do with some rugs to soften internal noise. Rooms don't have TVs or radios but do have free wi-fi a kettle. But these are minor niggles.
Very good commodation in a quiet location but very close to Brugges center. Excelent breakfast and best of all, the care and sympathy of treatment.
You've to pay in cash.
Fantastically restored property in a great location. Great hosts who provided good advice and helped out with some nice touches. Fresh bread and croissants at breakfast was interesting and tasty.
Lovely room. Great breakfast. Friendly staff.
The house has been very well restored and the rooms are amazing. Great breakfast and really helpful owners would highly recommend this as a place to stay
Nothing not to like
The B&B is amazing!!!!! We had a fantastic time!!! Nele was a superb hostess and her local knowledge is worth it's weight in gold!!!!
Big spacious warm room with elegant decoration. Everything was really clean. The owners were kind & friendly & helpful. Nice breakfast.
The bed was two single beds united & it's very unconfortable for a couple to sleep together. One day of our stay we return back to the room for a couple of hours & the host was cooking downstairs unfortunately the smell came upstairs & after we came back at night the room was still smelling food. The only thing left for us to do was to open at that time(late at night with 2 celcious ) the windows wide open to get fresh but frozen air.
The young couple whose house it is could not have been more friendly and helpful: they recommended restaurants, chocolate shops and places to visit. For example, when we decided to take a day-trip to Gent, our hostess quickly found out the train times, and even the platform numbers. The rooms are cavernous and the feel is minimal and chic - the house is very old, but it has recently been refurbished to a high standard, and it shows: everything is clean. slick and homely, but without it feeling like being in someone else's home. The breakfasts were lovely, with variation each day. The location is excellent: just 10 minutes stroll from the station, and less than that to the centre of town. This made it very accessible, but still in a very quiet part of the city.
There was very little to dislike. the stairs to the first floor room are pretty steep, but then so were they just about everywhere we went in Bruges!
We were welcomed by a charming and hospitable family. My partner is 6ft 5ins and was so thrilled with the comfy bed. Breakfast was Superb, all the information we needed about our visit was available. Everything I asked for my partners birthday was done at no extra cost i.e chocolates and a big slug of malt whiskey
That we didn't stay longer
Friendly staff Great bed and bathroom Near center Very good breakfast
Both Koen and Nele were very hospitable. They sat at breakfast with us and showed us the best hotspots and attractions we could go to. We definitely recommend them
Warm and friendly welcome by the owners, genuinely lovely people that could not do enough for you. Providing you city maps with places of interest marked, offering to book you restaurants of your choice with many rated ones suggested. Even making sure you reached your destination following one too many Belgian beers! Genuinely going way beyond the call of duty in every area. The rooms are stunning, decor contemporary and the very old property lovingly restored on the inside, beds huge and comfy. Breakfast good and the coffee was great!
The only thing I could criticise would be the lack of heated towel rail and a mirror in the larger of the two bedrooms...that is it and that's me being picky!
Beautiful big rooms with high decorated ceilings and very grand windows. The breakfast was generous with lots of homemade additions. The house has been well restored and cared for by the owners, although front door still to do I think. Although no tea or coffee in the room, a polite request soon made both available. The owners also allowed us to store cases during the day, very helpful.
To add anything would be looking to find fault.
Everything was perfect in this hotel. Thanks for all
Location, room, en suite, bed and breakfast
Absolute everything..especially.. + the breakfast (with a lot of selfmade things, marmelades and much more) + the individual furnished, absolute quiet rooms with a really large bed + the lovely inkeepers. They give you a lot of tips (e.g. where you can have dinner) and special services (e.g.reserve a table for dinner).
