It is a quiet and cosy small hotel. the only staff member speak French, Dutch and English. he is very nice and respectful older man. He has a great knowladge and tips for visiting the nature arround. Generaly very basic and suit for a night or two. Great restaurants around! The breakfasts were very small and basic. There are no options to choose from a menue offers, so beside the fresh coffee and bred you need to ask things and they might have to offer, what make us no interest to try other serves of lunch or dinner at the hotel.

The owner was warm and friendly. He helped us with everything we needed. Good personal service! The owner was also a fantastic cook. He made us one of the best 4 course meals I have ever had.

Jacques and his wife were extremely welcoming. We felt at home and didn't feel like we were in a hotel. It was very cozy. It was unfortunate that the wifi did not work.

Next to the centre of La Roche en Ardenne, on the quiet side with a view on the Ourthe. You feel at home because of the small scale of the hotel, but also because of the hospitable way you are treated. The owner and his American wife are very friendly pointing you the places to visit; for instance the Grottes of Hotton. The tv presented only one dutch net.

De gunstige ligging van het hotel,aan de Outre maar ook vlak bij de winkelstraat. Mensen die van klasiek en antiek houden kunnen hier hun hart ophalen.De eigenaar houdt van klasieke muziek en maak mooie schilderijen van de omgeving. We vonden de sfeer beneden gezellig. We hebben tijdens het ontbijt gezellig kunnen vertellen met de eigenaar. Vooraf hebben we opgegeven dat wij wat vroeger zouden arriveren Maar van de eigenaar mochten we niet voor 16;00 uur naar onze kamer.

Heel gezellig, gemoedelijk hotel. Klein, 6 kamers. Geen ontbijt buffet maar netjes per kamer gedekt, mijnheer Koulic vraagt regelmatig of het nog genoeg is. (Engels) Babybedje moesten we zelf meenemen maar was geen enkelmprobleem. Locatie aan de Ourthe is perfect.

Raar 2 dagen lang maar 1 man gezien we namen menu om te eten en er was niemand aanwezig in keuken juist die ene man dus ..... hij warmde eten op ....... toch 40 euro per persoon betaald heb ik nog nooit meegemaakt

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel la nuit de la Saint Syvestre. Le repas gastronomique servi le soir du réveillon était trés bon. Le petit déjeuner continental aussi. mais le comfort de la chambre laissait à désirer (le prix des nuités excessif) peu d'espace réservé aux wc à côté de la douche et le lavabo dans la chambre. L'arrangement "repas gastronomique" le soir du réveillon nous a été octroyé mais Mr Koulic aurait souhaité, vivement, que nous prenions le repas de réveillon (le double du prix).ce qui était prohibitif

Het culinaire arrangement was uitstekend, wij hebben enorm genoten van het 4-gangen diner voor twee personen (De Paté Foie Gras was verbluffend!). De passie en zorg van de heer Koulic, de eenvoudige maar uitstekend verzorgde kamer en de intieme sfeer van het hotel/restaurant maakten ons verblijf in La Roche en Ardenne tot een warme herinnering aan een stralend weekend.

Wij hadden een zeer ruime kamer (suite), zeer practisch ingericht. De ligging is ook zeer goed, aan de kaai en toch zeer dicht bij het centrum. Het restaurant is zeker een aanrader: vast menu, maar met klasse !

Wij hebben het erg naar onze zin gehad en werden keurig ontvangen. De kamer was aan de kleine kant, maar voldeed aan alle normale wensen. Het restaurant overtrof alle verwachtingen, zowel wat de sfeer betreft als wel het menu. Een aanrader. We komen nog graag eens terug.
