First of all the location is great for any activity in Brussels-Luize Metro Station is just 10 minutes walk from there, tram and bus stops within walking distance as well. The district, where hotel is located, is interesting, with shops, restaurants, coffee houses, and despite some opinions is really quiet. The hotel itself is a little bit aged, but it didn't bother us at all because it's clean and pleasant. Our room was cleaned daily and we were provided with fresh towels.Breakfast served every morning was ok, with fresh bread and proper coffee.Parking space is very limited there, but as long as is booked in advance, there won't be a problem with availability (it is mentioned clearly in hotel's terms and conditions). Staff very helpful, provided us with printed maps of the main Brussels' areas and explained how to get to e.g. European Parliament. Finally wifi comes with the price, which compared to some other hotels rates (e.g. 4.50 Euro/h!) looks like a bargain. For some people using the elevator might be annoying, as it was taking ages to call it on 6th floor. We were just using the stairs instead, but if you for some reasons can't climb the stairs, ask for a room on lower levels.

Staff were very professional and friendly with excellent English. The breakfast was good, although the restaurant area is small. Free Wi-Fi was very useful. Smoking room available. Location was some distance from my conference in the city centre. The room was very basic and the bed extremely narrow. Heating only seemed to come on during the night. The en suite bathroom lacked a proper shower (not possible to attach the shower head to the wall) and the bath had no plug. Both showering and bathing were pretty difficult! Everything could do with a make-over. Window was very close to the street and it was noisy in the early morning. The lift (elevator) was very slow. It was usually quicker to use the stairs.

The breakfast time was really great 7-10am. Some hotels finish too early. It enabled us to relax and have a little lie in. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The breakfast was simple but excellent with a good vaiety of foods to choose from. The room smelt a little musky when we first entered and then each time we returned after a day out.

Location next to the cost Office Old and worn hotel that needs refurbishing. When arrived found hotel room window was open. The following day found window was kept ajar with a folded piece of paper, then closed the window.. After returning that evening discovered why window was left propped open - musty smell in the room. Will not be returning

The staff were friendly and tried to help with everything. However, the hotel quality was the problem. Upon arrival there was no electricity in my room. This took some time to sort out. The staff member was new but very helpful, but still this took some time. The room was not clean. There was a emptry drink bottle on the bedside table that belonged to the previous occupier and the bed cover had cigarette burns in it. The breakfast was fine, but even though the hotel was quite all the tables were covered in leftovers from other people and some flies were circling.

It's only 2 blocks from the tram, the staff is friendly and helpful, the Belgium continental breakfast was nice, and the room was good sized for European standards. The bed was rather hard and the towels warn, but for the price the hotel is a very good value

Perfectly located few steps behing the famous Avenue Louise, the hotel offers a good price in a discret street. Walk 100 m and you can catch trams, buses and metro, and you are in one of the best shopping areas of Brussels. It is simple and basic but you have your value-for-money in the expensive city. Not really suitable for business but for a shopping time or a city trip. I knew about the small problem of this hotel: poor lift service and I was on the second floor and used stairs.

The staff was really wonderfully friendly. The location is excellent if you have meetings in the European quarter (reachable on foot), but it also offers a lovely walk into the Old Centre (Grand Place). I appreciated the breakfast and WiFi. The decor and bed linen is a little shabby (though clean). It is a bit far from the metro (and appears further when arriving alone at night with a suitcase) - but, to be fair, the neighbourhood is pleasant.
