This stylish residence is situated in a heritage-listed building that dates back to 1673 and is ideally located in central Bruges; about a 6 minute walk from the market square. Hotel Bed And Breakfast Lady Jane is a small and friendly bed and breakfast offering stylish rooms that are individually themed and comfortably furnished. Lady Jane also features a wine cellar that can be visited for tasting or just for fun. As specialists in wine, the owners will be happy to suggest a wine for you to enjoy. In addition to the impressive range of wines, the B&B also stocks nearly 30 types of beer, including famous Belgian beers such as Duvel, Westmalle, Karmeliet, Leffe and Hoegaarden. With an excellent location and an impressive selection of beers and wines, this well-placed bed and breakfast is a great choice for an enjoyable vacation in one of Belgium’s most beautiful cities. Absoloutely amazing. Bruges itself is a lovely city, with plenty to do all year round. A bit coldin winter. The B&B Lady Jane is an amazing place, about 10 minutes walk from the main Markt suare, parking easy and free, right outside, but a bit difficult to find to if you dnt take a map (my fault). Room was amazing! Clean, well presented and very luxurious. Hugo (the owner) was so friendly and helpful, gave us some great ideas on what to do/where to go. Very highly recommended. We will definatly be going back Only 1 critiscism is that the bathroom is not en-suite. It is a private bathroom, but you have to go out on to the landing to get to it. Not a big deal, as there are only 3 rooms in the B&B, and we didnt see anyone else the whole time we were there, but some people may not like this. It didnt bother us at all though.

The owner, Hugo, is fantastic - flexible, friendly, helpful. The house is beautiful and the breakfast is great. Perfect location. I would absolutely recommend it and will stay here again. Bed in Africa room was up skinny, steep spiral stairs; not safe for my 3 and 1 year old, so we slept on a pull out sofa bed instead of a real bed. Also, as we arrived very late and used a pin code to get in, we didn't easily find the room as they are not labelled, and we were afraid of opening the wrong door. Labels on the doors would help. But again, the place was really, really great!

Superb b&b in a fantastic location - 30 seconds away from the oldest bar in Bruges and 5 minute stroll to the 'markt'. Our accommodation was superb (we stayed in the Safari room) . And whilst the spiral staircase leading up to the bed isn't suitable for everyone, we loved it! Service was impeccable. Hugo was extremely helpful (he directed us to the best ba our and subsequent hangovers) as well as being really affable guy in general. Breakfast was lovely and always on time (8.30 am). In short, best place we've ever stayed in Bruges. We're definitely going back! :D

The breakfast was good, owner friendly and helpful and the location was reasonably close to the town centre. The African room we stayed in was not suitable for older people, the sleeping area was a futon style in a loft arrangement reached by a steep spiral staircase, not easily managed. The sleeping area was not full height so you had to crouch to get into bed from the foot of the bed. The bathroom on our floor was not full height and with a hand held shower difficult to use. Hot water supply a little difficult to ge right. Bathroom lighting used led lights and was quite poor.

We stayed in the African room: a nice design. Tea, coffee in room, good breakfast. Book-navigator about the city, made by hotel's owner, was very helpful in the study of Bruges. Thanks for the hospitality.

The host,Hugo, was very helpful. We appreciated the folder with all sorts of information and made use of the restaurant recommendations; which turned out very well for us. We also appreciated the packed breakfast to take with us we left so early. The house is very old and the floor creaks a bit, which made me feel a bit guilty as I tramped around so early on a Sunday morning, but the room was very interesting as well as being big. A nice change from most hotels! Not really other than the shared bathroom but then you know that before you go!

The Lady Jane was wonderful. It was walking distance to everything in the city. Our room was spacious and had a private living room with TV and DVD player for our use. I was traveling with an 18 month old and was able to put him to bed and hang out in the living room and enjoy some Belgium beers. The staff was helpful and kind to all of us. Next time I visit Brugge I will stay here again.

I have never stayed in a place that exceeded my expectations so much. Hugo de Wolf is the owner and he has turned this old building in NE Brugges into an absolute gem (only a couple of minutes walk from Jerasulem Church). The Japan Room was beautiful. Painted red and decorated with Japanese flair, it would have been perfect for romantics. Since I had my kids, it was still perfect because it was so large! Plus we had our own bathroom with tub and a living room all to ourselves for only 90 euro a night! Too great a bargain. It's simply the best place I've ever stayed and I highly recommend it. Free strong wi-fi, and breakfast was ample and fresh from the market.

Very relaxed with Hugo who was there if you wanted to ask anything but also quite happy to leave you be. We had keys and were able to come and go as we pleased which was great. Also Hugo provided a "holiday folder" with things to do, places to go and restaurant suggestions - really handy and so was the advice on where not to go!! Breakfast was continental style with plenty to eat and enough to make a picnic lunch! Brought to your room at 8.30 sharp everyday and then all tea and coffee making stuff is outside your room for you to make yourself - works really well. A 10 minute walk to the centre through some very pretty streets. Finally there is a selection of wine and beer left out - e4 for wine and e1.50 for beer - Genius!!!!! It's the first time we have ever shared a bathroom and, though we didn't have any problems at all and only shared with one other double room, it's not the same as having your own.

The host was very friendly and really good. When we arrived he had prepared a guide with some restaurants and sites to visit in the city. We stayed at the "African Room", it was very spacious, nice and comfortable. Breakfast was also very good and it was served to our room.

The african room had such character, totally different! It was difficult to find as there is no proper sign on the house and I thought it was a bit cold although it was freezing outside but would definitely go back!

The Lady Jane was the best bed and breakfast I have stayed in. Hugo, the host was very friendly and had taken the time to do up his own maps with what he thought were the best value for money local place to eat and things to see which was very helpful. The room was big and comfortable and breakfast more than I could eat. The location was great, not right in the noise and bussle of it all, but easy walking to everything. Just perfect, I would not stay anywhere else if/when I go back.
