Great location near a railway station. It was easy to get to Brussels from there. It is situated near a lake, beatiful place for a stroll in the evening. Few restaurants are there in the neighborhood. Parking in front of the B&B across the street is for free. The hostess was very nice and helpful. On the day of arrival there were some bottles of water in the fridge, and a small bottle of wine as a welcome.

I was a perfect time my son and I spent in Genval. If you want to have a real authentic experience I do recommend to stay in this small and pretty B&B. The Host - Misha- was absolutely lovely making us feel like staying in the old friend's place. Except of wonderful breakfast, she was kindly packing a lunchbox every morning for my boy to take away to his sport camp. ) The room was nice, there was a stable Internet access which is important for those who need to keep their hand on their business as I had to do. The surroundings are beautiful, the B&B is right in front of the lake you can walk or jog along. There are a lot of nice restaurant around to have a tea brake during the day or a good dinner tonight. The town itself is only 20 minutes drive both from Brussels and Zaventem airport. If you like traveling by public transport the train station is only 2 min walking distance. Generally, we have plans to come here next year with our friends. It was a lovely stay nothing more to add.

Very friendly and personal ambiance. Really like to stay there. Nice breakfast buffet. Location is very close to the lake and therefore really nice for a walk.

The room was not the youngest, the wall could have been painted again and the carpet has already seen its best days. Nevertheless I would highly recomend to stay there again.

This is my second stay in 5 weeks; on both occasions the whole experience has been excellent. It easily outclasses hotels in the centre of Brussels for which you can pay twice as much. A beautiful suite of rooms, with a very welcome bottle of wine. They are happy to look after your case on your departure (very handy if attending an event at the Chateau as there is a flight of steps) and they even bring it down from your room for you. A perfect breakfast (I have experienced some very poor quality fare elsewhere). If you need somewhere for lunch, try popping to the station and the Wild Poppy. Lovely too.

There is nothing not to like. This B&B will get my vote and at only €2 to trip into Brussels with a 10-trip ticket (25 minutes or so) I may well stay here for all my business meetings in Brussels in the future.

I liked the friendly staff, clean room, very comfortable bed and most of all the wonderful view . The breakfast is superb. Room was very comfortable and spacious. The location is near the lake and close to the train station that allows for easy travel to Brussels central station.

very spacious rooms with bathrobes and free drinks; quiet and relaxing; a lot of privacy; good area for mountain biking; good value for money. A nice place to stay!

The owner seems a bit "shy" and doesn't really make time for a chat, like in other B&B's, but she is very friendly and polite, and she gives you privacy. The building is old and could indeed do with a renovation, but that didn't bother us.

Wonderful lady who runs it - very helpful and acommodating. The location near a lake is also beautiful.

The room and bathroom could use a bit more renovation.

Everybody was friendly and welcoming. Our room was lovely - well, it was more a suite, with a separate sitting room and bedroom. As well as the normal coffee and tea on offer, there were some small bottles of wine and soft drinks, plus some chocolates. All included in the price! There was a good selection for breakfast too. The B & B is only a short walk from the lake and some good restaurants for dinner.

    Nothing.

a perfect getaway from the city buzz (only 30 mins away from Brussels Central by a local train, 4 mins walk from the railway station), near a lake with a number of good restaurants and brasseries. comfortable spacious rooms (suite), bathroom with a tub, tea kettle and a coffee maker, a fridge in the room. a very friendly and caring owner, ready to serve you at any time. in general, very relaxing atmosphere, tested and highly recommendable!
