Score from 7573 reviews Very good
Hotel room were filthy, changed room 3 times, all equally bad. Heating didn't work and when we asked for it to be fixed we had to leave and check into another hotel due to verbal abuse from staff.
We got this room as a deal on our visit to brussels. For a price of 75€ per night per room, for 3 adults, that was ok. Location is good, really close to Noordstation and 10 minute walk to Grand Place. Skip the 10 eur breakfast and rather catch a breakfast on the street / cafe in Grand Place
Area outside hotel is pretty shady. During weekends there is a proper pimp and sex workers all around the hotel. Hotel staff are not very accommodative, nor friendly. TV in our room, was almost non functional as it was primarily shades of red. Batteries in remote were removed, lid was missing prior to our arrival. We asked for a 3 bedroom, and we were given 3 single beds that one was about to collapse. No WiFi in rooms.
Hotel location is very convenient for local transportation because is in the vicinity of Gare du Nord railway as well as Rogier station tram and metro.
The personnel was very good and the breakfast was very nice.
The hotel offered very quiet room away from the main street. However, the room was coonected with another room. Only door were between both rooms so it was actually very unpleasant listening to phone calls etc.
The location is great for working in Covent Garden building of EC. But it is not very closed to the city center.
Some times the room is cleaned too late in the afternoon. I couldn't connect to the WiFi network of the hotel at all.
Everything is broken! From the phone to the shower cabin! It's just trash! Disastrous appearance....
You get what you pay for, it has everything you need for a couple of nights in Brussels. It was very easy to find and in a good location for the metro and a short walk into town. Staff were very helpful and polite, the receptionist moved his car so we had somewhere to park without paying, what a nice gesture. Other peoples reviews worried me needlessly. I would recommend this hotel.
hotel nicely situated near the north station, well connected to the tube, supermarkets nearby
Interior not shabby but worn, no curtains or glas in the shower so all water spills to the flour. Mattress kind of old as well, have a bumb in the middle, the area is close to a red light district, Given these limitations the price is too high (but then Brussels is rather costy anyhow)
The hotel was very close to centre. Public transport nearby. Breakfast was good.
We had a room with connecting door, this was closed, but we could hear our strange neihgbours :( For the next it is easier to book these rooms for a group instead 2 reservations. Around the corner there were girls walking, be careful.
really close to the meeting place
Not working wifi, but no one cares. Check in at 6.p.m. and have to wait 40 minutes untill the room is clean. A lot of prostitutes staying almost in front of the hotel
Free wifi in room, great location for the price
wifi not functioning at the rooms lighting too low everywhere
Bed and breakfast both good!
The lamps: no chance to read a book or a paper...
good location nice and helpful stuff
not really clean, especially the bed covers I would expect something more for this price
well located, good price
hard beds and no clean enough but according with the prices
The staff was very friendly and polite, the room was clean and its near the town center.
The building is old with cracks in the walls. The bed was very soft and the mattress sinks when you are sleeping. The Wifi is only good for receiving plain emails. The walls was extremely dirty and the furnitures old and in bad condition. After 20:00h outside the hotel there are many prostitutes and pimps. Even in an ''inside room'' the street noise was very annoying.
Great location for my work
The hotel had no wifi during my stay. They usually have wifi, but it was broken during my stay. They repeatedly told me that they did have wifi, then confirmed that they had had a problem with wifi all day. As a small business, I need to work during the evening and I needed an internet connection to download emails. They were unable to help. And I seem to have been bitten by mosquitos during my stay. Not ideal.
Location-near the railway station, the shopping street, 10 minutes from the city center. Excellent TV and fridge, very good AC and wi-fi.
The bed was too soft and maybe uncomfortable.
location and staff
Only the price
Location, service, room
Air conditioning not working, and it was the hottest weekend here in Brussels. Ladies working the streets right in front of the hotel.
Close to gare Bruxelles Nord, which is about ten minutes walk. There is also paul and carrefour express near by, so you can have breakfast and buy some needed conveniently.
I booked a triple room, but in fact there are two beds and a sofa in the room. So one man had to sleep on the sofa. The check in time is 3:00 PM, which is not the usual 12:00 PM.
Staff was ok. Good breakfast
Location is bad with strangers at night standing in front of hotel. Not suitable for families with children
Wonderful staff, close to city centre and airport
Breakfast was quite expensive and there was no functioning hairdryer
The only problem to mention is wifi, seems it works only in some parts of the hotel...
