The recepcionist was very nice. The room was clean and the breakfast nice. It had a bathtub which I really appreciate in hotels. The hotel is quite far from the center, it has a bus right infront that takes you to the center though. Its in a very nice and quiet residential area.

I stayed in the hotel from New Year, this is probably the reason why it was very cheap. It is a good hotel where I had a very comfortable spacy room and spacy bathroom. There is a large choice for breakfast. The hotel provides many services like free WiFi, large selection of tv channels a fitness room, etc. It also offers free transport from and to an airport (I did not use the first - it would require a call before - and did not need the second). There is an evening restaurant in the hotel and several smaller and good in the nearby (a Greek restaurant E.G.). The hotel is probably not so popular for the city visitors because it is farther from the centre - but there is a good connection by bus 45 with a change to metro.

The staff were courteous and helpful, particularly the waiters at breakfast. The variety of food provided at breakfast was excellent, I can't imagine anyone struggling to find something they liked. The bar area was comfortable and relaxing. Even when the bar was closed on New Years day we were welcome to sit and relax in the area beside the fire. It made a lovely relaxing day, ideal after the biz of Christmas. The location suited us perfectly. We walked into the city the first day, approximately 3 miles but enjoyable as there are so many beautiful buildings to admire. I'd recommend a 10 journey travel ticket if you're staying for a few days (we stayed 5) The 66 bus stops right outside the hotel and goes into Central Station. The hotel reception area was lovely but the corridors and bedrooms looked a little "tired". Nothing a coat of paint wouldn't correct though and the rooms were spotlessly clean. There was very little sound- proofing in the bedrooms but again, by midnight all was quiet and we had a good night's sleep. My one criticism is the hotel meals. Whilst they were tasty and well cooked, they were small portions and overpriced. I'd definitley recommend eating out. Drinks were slightly more expensive than local bars but that's usual in all hotels and the extra euros were well spent to sit and relax at the end of a busy day of sight-seeing.

The hotel is located located in the city with a good choice of not so expensive restaurants and fast foods around the hotel. Price is not expensive and has a good choice of breakfast provided at nominal price. Some hotels charge ridiculous 20 Euros. The choice of food at the restuarant is limited.

The staff were efficent but aloof (typical for a business hotel). The hotel was located in a good area close to public transport, good selection of eating houses in the area. Rooms were clean and comfortable with good facilities. Internet was good and parking was available either at hotel for a fee or on the street. Breakfast was good with a wide range of choices (hot and cold). The hotel is probably a 3 star rather than a 4 star rating and is starting to show its age, probably in need of a renovation. The plumbing on the fourth floor is totally lacking because in room 441 the hot water in the shower kept cycling between cold and hot. On checkout the hotel staff member was not interested in whether or not we enjoyed our stay, he possibly believed his hotel was beyond question, he was wrong it needs some attention.

Comfy bed, shuttle to the airport every hour, quiet. Fireplace in the restaurant. A bit too cold in the room, bathroom clean but a bit worn out. The cordon bleu in the restaurant was awful, though the meal was quite costy.

The bed was big and comfy and there was a choice of feather pillows or hollow fibre which was great. The minibar in my room. Very little choice, only 1 of each drink, no price list and worst of all the cost was 4.50 euros for a small coke. Mini bars are never cheap but I thought that was very expensive. Breakfast. Good selection but quality was below what I would expect for a 4 star hotel.

Location was close to business area of Brussel East/Zaventem. The staff at the reception was not friendly. The heating did not work properly due to which the room was very cold. Though the reception promised it would be fixed, they did not do so. No extra blankets where available either.

The gresham belson hotel brussels is adequate if you are looking for a bed for the night with relatively good access for the airport. Most certainly not if you are looking for a romantic hotel. Only functional, no charm or soul. Middle of no where.

The restaurant with cosy fireplace and good wines was very relaxed. The location is really out of town. Don't book this hotel for a city trip. But if you have to be in the area for a congress or the airport, it is perfect.

Too good to be true price for the luxury and comfort we got. We arrived by 1 p.m with a lot of luggage, and the receptionist insisted on checking us in by 3 p.m. Though most hotels have fixed check in times, they're usually flexible, once there's available rooms, they let you in. So we found this rather awkward that we had to wait till 3pm in the lobby, and I can bet there were room available when we arrived. Apart from this, it was a great experience.

Shuttle service to other destinations that the airport. Perfectly in time to pick me up. The rooms are very tidy and quite. There is an extra door to keep the noise from the hallway out. Spacious room.
